Both scenarios are pre-skip.
Scenario 1
Battlefield - Inside a Konoha classroom
Situation - Team Neji & Ten Ten faces off against Team Dosu & Zaku in a Jeopardy-like competition. After Iruka finishes reading the questions, both teams swear they buzzed in first. With no proof who really buzzed first, the two teams start a heated debate will soon lead to physical violence.
Okay, so out of the four participants, only Ten Ten is blood lusted while everybody else are in there "regular" mode.
Which team wins? And more importantly, will the winning team have enough sense to answer the right question.
Scenario 2: "The real scenario"
Team1: Neji & Ten Ten
Team2: Dosu & Zaku
Battlefield: Forest of Death
Situation: Exactly how it happens in the manga in the Forest of Death except for Sasuke doesn't wake to wipe the floor with Zaku.
Neji and Ten Ten find Lee after he is late in getting back to the meet point during the chunin exams. Neji makes his speech about it was a mistake for the sound nins to bust up their teammate, Lee, and are poised to attack.
The sound nins seem to have no qualms about killing, so we'll go with that. Neji is...uh, Neji. He does seem particularly angry about Lee getting beat up, but I don't think he is in the killing mode. Ten Ten will follow Neji in terms of his bloodlust level.
