I don't see a similarity other than the fringe, which isn't all that uncommon amongst anime characters, besides Toriyama has a fairly unique drawing style to differentiate himself from other mangaka's art.

Well yeah he does remind me of SSJ2 Gohan when I see him. Esp on episode 36 or 37 where they had his ending with Houki Boshi. He did remind me of him. Gohan was badass though, not that Hitsugaya isnt but Gohan was badass.

hmm... if you say so. But just remember that animes/mangas are full of stereotypes, and guys with similar hair styles. If you think about it, both Itachi and Byakuya are similar in some ways, physically and personality wise. Ichigo looks like an older orange haired Naruto without the whiskers. Ishida is very much like Sasuke, except for the glasses, and the hair that doesn't stay up.
Ikkaku, from division 11 (the baldy that fought Ichigo), he looks just like Jackal Kuwahara from the Prince of Tennis. They even have the same voice.

There are many many many other similarities, and in a way, they could be all considered rip-offs of someone else.

they sort of look similar. they have the same hair almost. and their personalities are sort of the same as well. hitsu is a boy genious, gohan is also very smart (not exactly a genious though, but he's still very smart).

Hitsugaya is also a lot different from Gohan. Hitsugaya is a much colder and harsher person. Gohan's very innocent and kindhearted. Deep down Hitsugaya is kind of well, but he has a cooler exterior which goes along with his reiatsu.

Honestly I only see a resemblance in hair style. But then again that is even different. Sense Hitsugaya has more hair in the back in a downward direction. Also Gohan's bang is less folded then Hitsu's.

I don't think that they ripped it off of DB at all, if you think about it there isn't any facial similarities or if there is there is very few. The other thing is that most hair from anime from kids that age and having spiky hair are VERY VERY similar, its the japanese way of drawing I'm guessing. If its not flat, its spiky if its spiky its the way of Gohan Goku Hitsugaya and all those spiky hair people.

SSj2 Gohan was too badass compared to Hitsugaya. Also unlike Hitsugaya, Gohan actually kicks ass and he kills people. He is also kinda cocky too but that makes him great. I havent seen Hitsugaya do anything that enables him as great. Hes cool and everything but SSj2 Gohan is great.

Not that I'm a big Hitsugaya fan, but overall I find him much cooler than Gohan, Hitsugaya has depth, mystery and mysterious aspects to his character.

As for rip off, its a very common character design from what I've seen.

Hitsugaya and Gohan are totaly different. For one, Hitsugaya uses his brain. For most of DBZ, Gohan is a scared kid with little confidence in himself. Hitsugaya is one of those natural born leader types. Just because they look the same age doesnt mean theyre similar at all.

And really, you cant compare any anime strength levels to DBZ. DBZ just got plain rediculous.

Hitsugaya doesn't resemble Gohan to me. The hairstyle is a little different. If I recall correctly, during the cell saga, Gohan had more hair toward the front. Hitsugaya had even amount of hair all around.
