I Don't See How Naruto Could Catch Up To Sasuke

Okay, this isn't a Naruto bashing thread. I actually really like Naruto and he is one of my favorites in this manga, but I just can't help but wonder how he could catch up the Sasuke.

Its like everything Naruto does... Sasuke does better. For example, Sasuke-kun has at least 3 'super' jutsu:

-Kirin
-Amaterasu
-Tsukuyomi (unsure of yet)

And other powerful jutsu:
-Chidori and variants
-CS2 wings/snakes
-Sharingan genjutsu
-etc

Also, he's managed to be a good leader with Hebi/Taka, accomplished many of his goals... and all the while looking hot. :wtf

I hope Naruto somehow learns some new techniques to catch up to his rival. They should have a rematch. (in which they lose all their clothes and start making love) <3

Sasuke is very powerfull right now and in the same tier as Itachi, however Naruto once his sage training is complete will be so much stronger then Sasuke(from whats seen so far) its not even funny.

Sannin Naruto with Pa Toad on his shoulder is either immune to Genjutsu or so close to immune that it would be nearly impossible to cast it on him. So we can rule Genjutsu pretty much out of being the decieding factor in a battle between them. Now you have to also consider that Sage Naruto surpasses Sasuke in every stat(every singal one). He is going to be faster then Sasuke, by far stronger then Sasuke, more intelligent then Sasuke with Pa Toad a 200+ year old sage with him, his Genjutsu is going to be the same but then he has Pa Toad who is a Genjutsu master with him(which should put him over the top), he has better Taijutsu with Kumite and Kage Bushin, he has high level Ninjutsu then Sasuke, and his seal speed is going to be pretty amazing as well.

As for Sasuke's Techniques Kirin takes prep-time so it won't be usable in every battle, but even if we count it in Sage Naruto will still be far greater. He has Super Enhanced Rasengan, Oddoma Rasengan, Fuuton Rasengan, and 50% Fuuton Rasen Shuriken which is more then enough to make up for all of Sasuke's Chidori Variants including Kirin and then some. Then Naruto has "that Jutsu" and Sasuke has "that Power" which should even out. Again Genjutsu is going to be a none factor which means Tskuyomi and Regular Sharigan Genjutsu should be canceled.

That leave Sasuke having Ameretsu as the only thing to make up for being out classed in every stat or nearly every stat. Naruto insane Regen, Pa Toad's Jutsu pool, Naruto's Summons, Naruto's inhuman strength, Frog Style Kumite which allows Naruto to fight several thousand feet in the air, Sage Enhance Taijuu Kage Bushin, and god knows what would happen when KN0 is combined with Sage Mode. Simply put from what has been seen Naruto would easily dominate any battle with Sasuke.

However there are two things that will level the playing field. Sasuke is a wild card we don't know if he has Susanoo, If his Genjutsu is Tskuyomi, does he have two of his own MS techniques, and what exactly is "That Power". Now Naruto has his own wild card aspect in the form of whats "That jutsu" just how will his jutsu react to Sage Mode and how will KN0/Kyuubi in general combine with Sage Mode. However Sasuke still has a greater wild card factor then Naruto at this point.

The second thing is that its been forshadowed and hinted at that Naruto will not have PA Toad with him for very long if any longer then the Pain fight. The loss of Pa Toad and Perminant Sage mode will effectively restrict his power enough that Sasuke will be able to fight evenly with him with alot more ease. That combine with Sasuke's greater wild card factor would allow him to pose a great threat to naruto in the future or at the very very least fight evenly with him. However the question of how naruto can catch up to Sasuke is mute as off now because Naruto has already surpassed Sasuke from whats seen and will have to be gimped and Sasuke will have to be further powered up to level the playing field again.

How many jutsu's does Kakashi have again like over 1000 and yet Naruto would be capable of rape stomping him if he where ever serious. It doesn't matter if you have one jutsu to a thousand what does matter is if you got what it takes to land those jutsu's. Naruto has TKB and since it has now become the most broken jutsu in the manga, Naruto is virtually untouchable when he can send out a 1000 clones to fight you a 1000 different ways and then he'd learn a 1000 different counter's to all your move sets.

Nah, I wholeheartedly disagree OP. I think that if they were both to meet up at this very moment, Naruto would be the odds on favourite to win if we assume that he's by now learned a couple of Sennin mode jutsu and perfected whatever jutsu he was practicing.

Sasuke is good. Very good, but his power level is more or less known at the moment. Naruto on the other hand isnt. We are still debating how strong Naruto was exactly before Senjutsu. Was he Kage level as Kakashi said? (Statement that "you are more powerful than me") Or was he just Jounin level or worse? Then you add the dynamic of Senjutsu to the mix and you are left with one giant anomoly.

In addition to that, you have Itachi's gift, AND Minato's key. All of which we can presume will come to the fore very soon as Natuto will train presumably until he's perfected Senjutsu and Key training, and Itachi's gift will be revelant vs Sasuke. He's got tons more potential than Sasuke and imo, at the moment, their power levels are about equivalent.

But having allot of Jutsu's givings you more options, giving you unpredictability. Also where did you get Kirin is useless 80% of the time? It not as complicated to set up as you think and Sasuke was about to pull it off on Naruto and company had Oro not stopped him. Kirin is a very useful ability in that you are getting two jutsu's for the price of one. Kirin may have some minor prep time, but is a simple set it and forget it technique. Aim and fire and it is unavoidable.

Let me start of by saying Senjutsu not increase chakara capacity, I repeat does not increase chakara capacity. Only conserves it because senjutsu draws energy from outside sources. Also Senjutsu only is stated to increase Ninjutsu never once did it stated it powers someones chakara. I think you are getting Senjutsu and Kyubi benifits mixed up. Please go find proof of your claims because everything I stated Senjutsu could do. Is backed up by the manga in a word for word verbatim.

Beat down multiple times ,but won that battle none the less. Also keep in mind that Sasuke was weaken at the time and he has a new power (one able to destroy Konoha) so in a since we have not seen him gone all out. The fact that we haven't seen Naruto go all out since his defeat at Sasuke is the reason why the thread title stands. The fact that Naruto has been playing catch up to Sasuke all of part 2 and most of part 1 is the reason why the thread title stands. Also your post then goes off to the what if Scenario. What if Itachi was healthy, what if Jiraiya knew minato secreat, what if Minato reached his prime. The fact is what ifs are nothing ,but shit speculation and anyone of these what if scenarios can be distorted to fit some fanboy's argument. In fact this whole thread is based off a what if which is the only claim Narutards have to put him in the same league as Sasuke.

Sasuke has proven himself to be miles ahead of Naruto throughout part 2 and Naruto has not given us a reason to state otherwise. This argument ended with a "what if". When naruto tards believe that Naruto was = Yet alone greater than Jiraiya. Sure he maybe at Senjutsu usage, but Senjusu only amplifies was the user already has. In which in Naruto's case is not much. He went in the the training with rasengan, and kagebushin and there is no reason to be believe he will come out with anything more.

I'll try and keep this simple.

Kishimoto's succeeded in tricking those who believe that Sasuke's far above Naruto. Yes Naruto's the underdog and yes Sasuke would have stomped Naruto during the beginning of part 2 but times have changed. He's gone through 2, not 1 but, 2 powerups since the series has begun. Sasuke was downgraded and sure he's gained MS but his usage of it isn't up to par quite yet. Naruto's strength jump from the beginning of part 2 to now is far above Sasuke's jump from the beginning of part 2 to where he is now. Actually, people are still debating if he actually improved from the downgrade to the MS for that matter. Either way there's a lot of problems that arise.

People said the same thing when he fought Sasuke during the VotE fight (where they assumed he'd be stomped horribly), they said the same thing when he fought Kakuzu, people said the same thing when they said he wouldn't complete Senjutsu as quick as he did, people had doubts when he fought Neji and Gaara, people said the same thing when they assumed Naruto wouldn't even surpass the regular Rasengan. The guy's getting doubted all over and over and people just keep making up comments towards it. Don't doubt Naruto at all, please, that's one thing you don't need to do in this series. This is another example of it.

Strength-wise people are underestimating Senjutsu. I made a thread on it's improvements and I'll say I don't see how Naruto would lose against Sasuke with it if all falls into place. I mean sure there were openings before but now it wouldn't make any sense. Sasuke's only real advantage these days might be Amaterasu and possibly Genjutsu and with Senjutsu Naruto would be able to perfrom a Fuuton that would end up being stronger than Amaterasu considering using the chakra of nature to a great deal will be a strong force, Genjutsu I'm not really sure but I see Senjutsu increasing his Genjutsu defense. At worst case people are forgetting Itachi's gift, whatever it is, coming into play. If anything I'd say it'll be an anti-Sasuke judging on the context of Itachi giving it to Naruto and his comments. Another note is people often mistake exactly what Senjutsu does. Senjutsu chakra amplifies anything a ninja uses chakra for and that's everything they do. It's a stronger chakra. Senjutsu turns regular skills into monsterous ones. Oodama Rasengan turned into Chou Oodama Rasengan. It increases everything and if you don't believe me look back at Gamakichi, Naruto and Fukasaku's explaination. It's not that hard. If you think it only amplifies some things it makes no sense. Why is he so fast and why does he hit so much harder? Why is he powered up? It's because the chakra's far stronger than before. It's easy to understand.

I just don't see what people are surprised about. He's not a crappy ninja. Say Kakashi had everything Naruto has and then his added Senjutsu on top of it. Sure the result would be different but look at Naruto's style, add Senjutsu, add his new jutsu, add determination and then you get a monster. On top of that add Itachi's gift along with it? There's really no problem here. Kishi's truly tricked NF in and out and I think that once Naruto wins we'll see a herd saying "PNJ" or whatever. That's just an excuse given to dehype Naruto's win considering those who say it can't believe it.

It's all based upon how weak people think Naruto is and how strong the think Sasuke is. These two different variables have been completely blinding NF. That's the problem here and until Naruto beats Sasuke it'll always be the problem in this case.
