you know, I've been wondering if that cat thing is really Chiyo-chan's father? I think he is but I don't know. I probably haven't seen the episode that reveals it, but there are allways these little hits in some of the shows that her father is that cat thing. Does anyone know for sure? I think he is.

Lol, I think the cat is just the product of Sakaki's mind. It all started with that New Years dream she had. :laugh

I've seen quite a few, but not all yet. I thought that it was just Sakaki's mind too, but the reason why I have doubts is because in ep. 12 (I think) it shows Chiyo-chan grabbing her lunch or backpack or something (don't remember what it was) from the front door on her way to school, and you could see at the edge of the doorstep cat feet!! The feet resembled the version of Chiyo-chan's father that Sakaki dreamt!! If you weren't really observant (I guess I am), then you probably would've missed it.

by the way, I agree that it's a great expression on Osaka's face in that fan art XD

You can probably tell who my favorite character is (Hint: Look at the avatar.
