The Yellow One. he is pretty cool, with his shooty arm thing and whole undead gimmick. he was a ninja (i always forget his real name) but his clan was wiped out by Sub Zero's, the Lin Kuei. He swore vengence and after lots of stuff ended up dead and in hell. After selling his soul and escaping hell....he ended up back there again...then escaped....then went back =/

Talk about getting your braces caught in the door.

Sub-Zero
The Blue One. Can control ice wehich gave for the best and most humoroous split second Kombatcicles ever seen. There were a few sub zeros, various brothers and stuff. He eventually became the head of his clan, the Lin Kuei. he lost some of his 'cool' factor in MK:DA though, by having grey hair =/

Reptile
The Green One. Was basically an excuse to use the SZ and Scorpion sprite again. he was a cool character though. 'Last of his race' and everything. I remember the wowness the first time he swallowed the head of the bloke i was fighting :D

Smoke (Human)
The Grey One. Was Sub Zero's best friend until he turned into a cyborg and tried to kill him 9something generally frowned upon). i really liked him, im not sure why. the smoke effect around him was cheap and crappy but really made him stand out from the other sprites. My personal favourite.

Rain
The Pink One. or Magenta, or whatever you want to call it. He was Princess Kitana's loyal bodyguard (or might of been brother). He could summon lightening and stuff. Was kionda cheap and just another ninja sprite to bolster the character roster.

Ermac
The Red One. Ermac started life as a glitch in MK1. If you picked Sub Zero you had a 1 in a billionth chanc eof getting him in a red costume and the name apperaing as 'ERROR MACRO'. I think this gives him a LOT of cool, and his moves were ace!

Sub Zero was always the coolest. There's nothing like freezing your opponent and then beating the hell outta him while he cant move. ;)

SubZero has always been the greatest. Being able to freeze someone then hit them with a combo.

I like reptile as well (though not as much as sub zero) It was a pity in the original MK he was just a secret boss and not a playable character

Scorpion was just badass from the start.
BTW, he was killed by the original Sub-Zero, but Quan Chi was pulling the strings (HE was the one that killed his family).

I liked the original games best.... and it's reflected in my character choices.

Raiden all the way baby. That teleporting lightning action was fun as hell to play and really cool to watch. A close second would be Shang Tsung, because... well.... yeah.

You did forget Noob Saibot the black uniformed ninja with some of the coolest tricks (i liked that dark spere trowing technique).

Reptile was cool in MKII, but then they decided to give hime an new costume and uncovered his face and that simply sucked. (IN MK the movie Liu Kang vs. Reptile was my favorite fight).

Sub Zero is the man, when it's comes to Ninja. He is cold, cool and a serious ass kicker.

Smoke was good till they made him a robot... I wished he had a smoke attack rather then a copy spear attack of Scorpy.

Ermac's green flame thing owns! If only he was in the good side.

Rain was a total dissapointment for me, i was expecting much more for him.

BTW, Reiko could be consider as one of the Ninja's also since he swore about the same outfits apart the masks.

Scorpion, since he had the second largest combo next to Sub Zero's infinite glitch combo on the robots (Sektor, Smoke, Cyrax), and I've always loved his rope more than sub's ice. Plus, I seriously kicked the crap outta people with scorpion (though sub's infinite combo was boss if you could time it right on non-robo characters).

I like using subzero in the first 3 games but when Smoke came out, I had a change of heart.His attacks in MKU3 were awesome.He could come under you and punch you up in the air, spear you like scorpion, and a lot more moves I forgot that were great.His fatatlity in my opinion was the best.The one where you hear something ticking, then the camera zooms out to the earth and you see the planet explode.:cool

Scorpion to me is the coolest. The first time I heard Ed Boon's voice over the speaker go "Get Over Here" I was like now that's cool. Plus his storyline is pretty deep as well. Killed by evil sub-zero with his family as well. Cannot die. Has become badass in recent MK games despite I'm not into it anymore.

But yes though I think he is the coolest. I prefer using Sub Zero instead. I guess I know how to use him better in battles.

I'm sorry, but I'm a have to disagree on that one. Mythologies had to be the worst MK game and quite possibly the worst ps game ever. That game....That game:mad . I hated that game. Bad control bad graphics, stupid AI. Cheezy story, but I guess that's just my opinion everyone is entitled to their own. I still give trillogy my vote for my favorite. It wat the epitome of MK goofiness.

Still one of the biggest dissappointments for me in MK history was that Reiko never made a come back... he was ten times the badass Sub-Zero was.

Subzero with his deep freezing of his enemy and them making them shatter into a million pieces was really cool. That and turning into a frosty wolf and shredding the opponents with his teeth was awesome as well.
So yeah Subzero was the coolest ninja for me, Scorpion was a close second.

In the older MK games: Sub Zero. Easily.

All of the newer MK games: Scorpion. Easily.

Sub Zero is looking goofier as the series goes on while Scorpion is looking ever so badass. Not to mention Scorpion is pretty much the main character in the MK series as of the past 2 games (haven't touched Armaggeddon yet). Deadily Alliance and Deception seemed to revolve around him, that and he just looks like such a badass, katana an all.
