Hey,

To all those Greek Mythology Loving, Blood and Gore Adoring, and just Outright Awesome Gamers. God of War III looks to be the biggest teaser on the PS3 market. Highly anticipated to finish off a cliffhanger ending to the battle for Mount Olympus (God of war II) with brilliance.

The most anticipated game for PS3 in 2009.

With a series of incredible ratings of 9.4/10, 9.7/10 and 9.4/10 from IGN, E3 and others. This game looks to be the game of the future. Intense graphics, addicting story and a whole game action-packed full of gory fun, looks to be an entertaining installment to the God of War series. Taking PSP and PS2 by storm as one of the greatest games ever. The wait for God of War III tightens.

Don't listen to these mongs, nearly every fan of the action genre is highly anticipating this. I'm expecting excellence, and it's highly likely it will deliver. :D

I can't wait for this. Ever since the end of GoW2 I knew I'd be getting a PS3 even if this was the only thing I wanted on it.

I don't need to see any in-game footage to know that this game is going to be the definition of epic. The first game was excellent, and the second one was even better. And now that they have even more powerful hardware, I see no reason to doubt why this game will be the best one in the series.

I mean, Kratos & The Titans vs The Gods. I fail to see how they could possibly screw up something with a scenario that awesome.

Can't wait. GoW2 was one of my fave PS2 games and one of the best action games i played. So can't wait to get gow3 :)

i enjoyed GoW2 and 1. i also played chains of olympus but i hated the psp controlls. i'm highly anticipating GoW3. they announced it for TGS, did they? i really hope we see some ingame footage soon.

is that the last title btw? maybe he'll turn against the titans once the gods are dead:P gonna be something like shadow of the colossus times 3

Haha, that's my plan, rock over a friends place to clock it. I'm afraid to say I myself have a 360, but God of War is in itself something else, it's truly amazing

Needless to say that GoW3 is one of my most anticipated titles for the PS3. Both its predecessors blasted me away while I played them.

But it's probably not gonna be out before 2010, if anything.

That would be the most stupidest move ever, but I'm pretty sure they're not dumb enough to ever do that in their entire life. With a game as big as GoWIII will be, I expect it'll be more than 10 hours the least.

A 20 hour long action game? Uh no thank you. Replay harder difficulties? Count me in :)

I wouldn't mind a 20 hour action game as long as the keep it new and refreshing enough to keep me interested. The problem with a lot of action games is that they get very monotonous, so playing 20 hours of the same thing doesn't make for a very fun time, but I wouldn't mind making the game a bit longer, but in most action games I look more towards the replay value than the length. I don't want to say anything too soon, but I have a feeling this won't disappoint in both categories.

The designer said 2009 as far as I know, but they might push it into 2010. Needless to say, faster the better

The problem with releasing the game sooner is that it can feel rushed. I'd rather they take their time and make it the best that they can.
