I am very psyched about the upcoming episodes. I can't wait to see Lacus in her battle gear piloting I-Justice even if only for a split second. I want to see her and Kira work together disabling enemy MS until she can get the mobile suit to Athrun. That probably won't happen, but how awesome would that be?

Cagalli is getting the Akatsuki, which I hope to see in the new OP. Speaking of the new OP I'm curious as to how they will work that song in with the new video. I know the ED must be good since it is done by See-saw after all.

I'm wondering how long they actually plan to stay on Earth. I hope the final battle takes place in outer space. They've been on Earth for much too long, and final battles as a rule should always take place in space :amuse . Anyway there is much to look forward to; I can't wait to see the S-Freedom and I-Justice in action.

Yeah, it will be really interesting to see Lacus inside Mugen Justice, eventhough it's just for a split second. But I do believe she will at least pilot it for as long as the battle lasts in that episode.

And I'm pretty sure we will see Akatsuki in the new OP. And since we haven't seen any scans of it yet, I'm looking forward to seeing it alot.

As for the staying on earth or not thing. I wonder. So far they have spent the majority of Destiny down on earth, since the main conflict has always been there, not like in SEED. SEED was pretty much 50/50 when it came to battles in space and on earth. Destiny has been like 90/10 (space/earth), so it sure is a big difference. But I pray that they will battle it out in space. But I still think a finale on earth would be nice. The ending of Victory was sweet, and that took place on earth. :)

I want to see how the Shinn and Lunamaria relationship pans out. From what I can guess they are making a mistake, because as one magazine scan said it's not based on "true love". It's really not their fault because their feelings and actions are all being manipulated by Dullindal and Rey, but it seems Shinn just won't learn until the end. Personally I don't even like the idea of Shinn and Luna, and it will probably only end in tragedy.

Shinn and Luna were introduced to the universe in the OP3 and ED3.

Same with Athrun's new addition to his harem, Meyrin and his MeerXAthrun scenes.

I swear, they better get rid of that stupid harem scene, because it's really kind of over. Luna's off with Shinn, Meyrin...questionable. Meer, too caught up being Lacus and besides, she's gonna be busy with the real Lacus.

So, there's no need for that one scene. I wonder if they'll introduce the new DOM pilots too.

I think the new harem scene will feature a slightly different cast of characters but still look the same. Replacing Athrun will be...DULLINDAL! Meer's part will be played by Rey. Meyrin's part will be played by Shinn. Luna retains her part as the pistol toting girl in a skirt. Cagalli will be replaced with Athrun.

Lunamaria and Cagalli is probably a reasonable match up. Lunamaria will probably blame Cagalli for Athrun and Meyrin.

ahhhh... wikipedia... i use that as my info source on many things... what i dunn like about that site are the articles/info for new episodes... they're not official and most of them are based on discussions from forums, speculations, etc... :sad but as a site to find older information its 90% accurate... :amuse
so i will not yet consider the thing they put in there where sting will pilot destroy as something highly possible...

EDIT: Strike Freedom and Knight Justice are under ZAFT/PLANT

Strike Freedom and Mugen/Infinite Justice were built by the clyne faction together with the 3 DOM Troopers... they appear under the ZAFT area in MAHQ and in some info sites because of their MS codes... Strike Freedom is ZGMF-X20A and Mugen/Infinite Justice is ZGMF-X19A... They still gave them the ZGMF code, it think, because they were made by the clyne faction that iis supported by a considerable size of ZAFT forces... in other words, maybe ZAFT scientists and engineers secretly teamed up with the clyne faction to upgrade the freedom and justice designs... :amuse

Yes, and according to the "Gundam Ace"..Kira is the main character for the other half of the series. and Strike Freedom is the protagonist Gundam which means Kira is the maincharacter. i think Fukuda is trying to make Shinn as the Antagonist of GSD. if Destiny will be in the 4OP..it should've been in the 3OP..cuz it appeared before STrike Freedom..S-Freedoms semi-debut is in phase 40..and a spoiler for phase 41 says.. "it will be interesting to see Kira and Strike Freedoms "Dragoons battle" in phase 41 or 42 i think". which means Strike Freedoms Dragoons can be use on EARTH?

DRAGOONs usually can't be used on Earth? Maybe that's why Rey didn't use them against Athrun in episode 37 (or maybe he just wanted to push Shinn to finish Athrun). It will be interesting to see if he uses them in the next episode.

Yes, Dragoons can't be used on EARTH. Rey wanted Shinn finish him off..thats why he didn't fight seriously. ususally the pilot has to be a Newtype in order to control the Dragoons system. but, Legend Gundam doesn't require Newtype to use its Dragoons. donno about Strike Freedom..even if Strike Freedoms Dragoons require NT..i wouldn't be surprise since Kira seems to have some Newtype abilities.

DRAGOON System
The DRAGOON (Disconnected Rapid Armament Group Overlook Operation Network) system is a control system developed by ZAFT to guide remote weapons. The DRAGOON uses Quantum Communication to send signals to weapon pods to move them around without the awkward wire guidance used in mobile armors such as the TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero, or the Striker Pack AQM/E-X04 Gunbarrel Striker. The original system was first tested in the YMF-X000A Dreadnought, tested by ZAFT pilot Courtney Hieronymus and then later civillian Prayer Reverie; and used by the prototype ZGMF-X13A Providence units, piloted by ZAFT ace Rau Le Creuset.

An alternate version of the DRAGOON system was developed by Earth Alliance's Azrael Financial Group and utilized in their prototype TSX-MA717/ZD Pergrande mobile armor. This version required three pilots, and didn't require a pilot with spatial awareness; instead, the computer maneuvered the pods using the X, Y, and Z coordinates from the pilots. These pods mounted a beam cannon and a beam gun, which made it much more powerful than the regular DRAGOON system mobile suits. The Pergrande was destroyed during testing.

In CE 73 a new version of the DRAGOON system is developed by ZAFT. This system doesn't require a pilot with highly spatial awareness and thus even a normal pilot can control this weapons. The new ZAFT Gundam-type mobile suit ZGMF-X666S Legend is equipped with this new DRAGOON version, as is the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom. Also the ZGMF-X24S Chaos uses an easier version of this system in form of only two Gunbarrel-like weapon pods.

people still bought it...I believe one reason is because its Athrun's and it was also a good looking suit.

They still could have had Saviour destroyed a little later. I mean granted when Kira sliced it into pieces that had a lot of shock value (partly because it came out of nowhere), but Athrun never used it right. In a way I suppose we were all done a favor as it was taken out of its misery before Athrun could use it in battle again and transform it a billion times while still doing nothing.

Canard Pars? Never heard of him. Maybe that's just one of the random experiments during the ultimate coordinator project that went wrong and died before getting to Kira.

I think Strike Rouge will be doom!! during the fight against ZAFT forces in the space. Strike rouge is an old suit..we've been seeing that MS for 2 series. even Freedom didn't last that long. they better not rebuilt it and give it to Mwu.

Earlier in the series I had thought Shinn was a clone of Kira (with false memories). We may find out something in episode 39, because from some of the spoilers Lacus looks into Kira's birthplace (the abandoned Mendal colony) and finds something.

He is a character from the Astray X Manga.
He was a "ultimate coordinator" as well, and he had a grudge against Kira.
He wanted to kill him to prove that he was not a failure, since we all know Kira is the main one.
But he soon learns and switchs sides, I believe he piloted one of the 3 Hyperion units.
Then he fought Prayer Reverie, who was a failed clone of Mwu's dad.
He piloted the Dreadnought, which had a protoype DRAGOON system, and fought Canard in his Hyperion. Prayer died because he was a failed clone and Canard became good I guess and piloted the Dreadnought, which I believe was upgraded to Dreadnough H with Hyperion parts.
I guess technically...it is Kira's brother, since he was a "ultimate coordinator" experiment also, but he lived. I believe he was dropped since Kira was successful and thats where the grudge begins.

Beh...watch Shinn is a "ultimate coordinator" as well. Then he would get more pissed off.
But I hope it doesn't come to that, I want Shinn to be a good pilot by being normal liek Athrun.

I'm just guessing ... so maybe this "Canard Pars" is Kira's brother and maybe it can be Shinn. Shinn's rapid growth is similar to that of Kira. Like Gill have stated, his movements have become so fast compare to a normal coordinator. Since Gill specialize in DNA, maybe he knew something from the start about Shinn and that is why he gave Impluse to Shinn rather than Rey. It's also ironic how Gill knows so much of Kira, more specifically that he knows Kira is an ultimate coordinator

Kira was the first and the last fetus to be successfully developed using the apparatus. So, Shin can't be another Ultimate Coordinator.

when you judge the overall skill of a pilot, you judge the whole package. Physical skillwise, I think they're about equal(GS). Mentally, Kira trumps Asuran, period. the main problem of some of the ppl argument is that you act as though he's as skilled as Kira when it comes to things like dodging and defense. We saw Kira dodging DRAGOONS like a maniac at the end of SEED, something that could only be done with some serious skills, most likely those of a newtype. With the NT sensing Kira did at the end of SEED, and the few NT pings he got as well, I think it's pretty much a given he was developing into either a NT, or realizing some greater potential as the "Ultimate Coordinator". atually they need to argue about Shinn and Athrun. who is better? since the official says KIRA>>SHINN>>ATHRUN

That official comment could also be something that the chairman has analyzed, where his skills in that area would surpass all of ours, since technically, he -is- an anime character, and his speciality is also analyzing stuff. If it wasn't true or important, Athrun would indeed have said something about it, since he knows Kira best.

If Kira's skills weren't even that great, why would he even compare it "to the world". he's praised Kira infront of two of his Ace pilots. there is more about Kira. he possess something that he doesn't know yet. some ppl are saying like Kira is the "Ultimate Cordinator" just cuz he came out of the Womb the way they excatly designed..thats completely not true. think: why did Hibiki wanted to make his son as the Ultimate Cordinator that might even cause that child to the death if its not gonna have some kinda skills than can surpass the Cordinators might be even the Newtypes. IMO, Kira is better than Newtype.

..Ulen Hibiki gave birth to two subjects. One was a boy named Canard Pars - a failed Ultimate Coordinator in Ulen's eyes (and who will, in Astray X, try to hunt down Kira Yamato so that he can prove that he's not a failure even though he's not 'the' UC). The other was...Kira Yamato...born of Via's own ovule mated with Ulen's spermatozoid - but raised within an artificial womb. Kira is the only successful UC alive now. Pars is considered as 'failed' though his abilities are kinda sharp. He worked for the Eurasian Federation before defecting (so as to kill Kira Yamato - a dream he never realized and finally abandoned because of Prayer Reverie's words) and finally joining the Junk Guild and manning the refurbished Dreadnought H Gundam.

I believe Pars was considered a failure only in the same way Mu was considered inferior to Rau by Al Da Fllaga; they both weren't what was wanted. Canard Pars is a failure of the ultimate coordinator project because his genes does not come exactly as design, which defeats the whole point of ultimate coordinator project. the ultimate coordinator is about born with genes exactly as designed from an artificial womb, there is no point of an artificial womb if the baby comes out with unexpected changes in genes just like from a natural womb.

Canard Pars knew about Kira, and he was given a chance to kill Kira in cold blood (when Kira was relaxing in his favourite rocking chair). But due to the experiences he earned and people he met on the way in his path for self-satisfaction, Canard realised how pointless it was for him to hate Kira. In the end, he once believed he would no longer be inferior to Kira if he could kill him, but now know that his inferiority exists only in his mind, He is only as good as he believe he could be.

Actually Newtype rating is just a crap..highest vote is 536.. :blink i trust only "Gundam Ace" Rating. according to the Gundam Ace Kira #1 with 22000+ votes and Lacus #1 with 20000+ votes. Athrun's rating is going down everytime. Athrun #4 and Cagalli #6. Shinn should be around 6-10. Stellar beats the shit out of Cagalli. she is in #3 or 4 i think.

I've been wondering about that. Since it seems like Lacus will be the one who takes Mugen Justice down to earth, I wouldn't be surprised if she actually piloted it for a while. I mean, she has to have some knowledge about mobile suits since she has administrated the production of several new mobile suits. I wouldn't be surprised if she even was the test pilot of Strike Freedom and Mugen Justice since she has the SEED, thus able to use a mobile suit to it's full potential.

Like 12 or 13 hours left to the RAW now. No pictures or preview yet? :huh

it would be nice to seem both new gundams in action at the same time as we know S_F will most likely be first into action. i think that lacus having SEED and all would be able to have a good run in justice before handing it over, there's gonna be lot of interference so i don't see why not she'll not get good spar with some zaft MS.

i know this will have already been discussed but what does everyone think of S_F's design?

i kinda prefer freedom's but that could change after we see S_F in action.

Mugen Justice=Infinite Justice?? anyways..Lacus is not be the pilot of I-Justice. she is just gonna deliver it to Athrun. i rather see her sitting in the chair and ordering the Eternal comrades than piloting a MS.

SF and IJ may have started its development right after the Jachin Due Cease-Fire. Although the road towards peace is visible, some people are still concerned. Kira, knowing power is always needed and sensing Lacus' worry although she hides it pretty well, started working on a new system and design based on Freedom and Justice. However, halfway the completion of the initial blueprint, he abandoned it, realizing the unpredictable dangers, in addition to Lacus' objection to his work, though he didn't erase it. But, ironically, unknown to Kira, Lacus stole that blue print from his laptop and kept it for herself, which later was transmitted to the engineers in Eternal. Based on that data, two suits began their development, though it was slow and lukewarm due to the Junius Treaty. However, right after Lacus' attempted, the pace is speeded up. Unfortunately, the operatives attacking the orphanage came across fragments of that encrypted blueprints and was able to send fractions of that information back to PLANTs until Freedom shows up. Originally, Dullindal wanted to get rid of Lacus because of Meer. But those data shocked him, forcing him to chase down Kira together with Lacus. Lacus lied to Kira about her going to space to find out about the situation there because she didn't want her to worry. Up till Freedom's destruction, Kira might not have known about Lacus' actions. its not official. some says its confirmed.

If S-F and M-J are also nuke powered like Legend and Destiny, they will definitely have NJCs... you cannot run a nuke engine without it... remember that the coordinators burried thousands of NJ's beneath the earth's surface... so it is no question that all nuke powered gundams/MS or even MA or Ships need a NJC... :amuse

We're still left in the air if about the power source on I-Justice and S-Freedom. All we know is that they utilise a new engine that makes these Gundams several times better than then predecessors. So far people have given that different interpretations saying that either their:
1. Using an engine that has a new form of power source that exceeds the nuclear engines that were in Freedom and Justice.
or
2. Still using nuclear energy but with a much more better/improved engine
or
3. Something that I cant remember :P

Anyhows we'll find out pretty soon anyway, since were so close to the episodes where they make there debut

Akatsuki is too shiny for me to see let alone judge the mecha design but i'm glad they brought back the hyaku shiki (not as much as mindless) I would have prefered if it was Sazabi (akatsuki makes me think of a red mobile suit). Dom Troopers look sweet. I'm not too happy about the revival of the Meteor system though, its just a damn repeat of SEED, those things where too much of a trump card anyway. Kira and Athrun's new flight suits look awesome!

lol the Harem scene is still there, I think i'm going to laugh everytime i see it now.

Hahahah, i just saw the op and ed. pretty cute. the ed theme song isnt that bad. but the pictures move kinda fast. and they showed part of the end of the ep. and strangely, everyone was all angsty or worried. but then it showed Dullindal happy. well, not happy, but he seemed satisfied.

the opening has a funny part where shinn is running at the end. ahhah, i found it to be a bit strange, but, i'll learn to love it. and the part where hes naked in the beginning, isnt that weird once you see it for yourself. but other than that, i thought both of them were fast paced.

edit: dont want to say too much of what i saw with that clip of the end theme with part of the episode. i'll let mindless handle that.

*sniff* *sniff* the 4th ending is so pretty I want to cry, as for the opening i just have to say one thing " worst-opening-EVER", i'm not bashing Chemistry or anything, its not their fault the producers put their song in as the opening, its not their fault that the animation doesn't match up to thier song, all i can say is that the people over there in Japan working on gundam seed destiny have done a very poor effort at the new opening, I mean if you look at it the Ending theme song( by See-Saw?) is more suited for an opening theme than Wings of Words.

Seems like Kira took over the show once again..OP theme is pretty good..but, the OP song disgusts me. its always Kira X Lacus at the end of each ED but this time...its Kira X Athrun..wow.

Luna X Shinn relationship is just ridiculas..they kiss each other!!! WTF!!

Quick summary by Shiemi from animesuki:-

As usual we get scenes from last ep before the op and then we get the op.
We see ZAFT's fleet getting ready and we even get several shots, even space shots and we get to see Yzak. Rey, Shinn, and Luna seem to be studying their Gundams. Then we go to Heaven's Base and see them getting ready. There is a meeting of remanining LOGOS' leaders, cat in Djibril's lap in the meeting.

We get the scene of Luna and Shinn that has everyone talking. They talk, well actually Lunamaria does most of the talking and calls herself an idiot (for not seeing the truth behind Meyrin? No idea) Then Shinn sort of cries a bit and they hug and then kiss.

Meer seems sad and on a bed while watching the news. We see Kisaka, Cagalli, and Kira present in the ward looking over Athrun. Some shooting starts in Heaven's Base. Murrue and everyone in AA seem shocked. Sting is happy in his Destroy when he launches. Athrun wakes up with hearing Kira calling his name twice and tries to stand and Kira tucks him in. Athrun is very surprised and Kira tells him everything is alright. We see the fight again, explosions everywhere, but at this time Heaven's Base has the upper hand. Condition Red issued in Minerva.

The LOGOS oldies seem happy thinking they are winning I guess. They use some weird powerful beam that comes from a tower thinggy. Rey, Shinn, and Luna are surprised when they see the beam and Shinn asks for them to be able to launch. They launch of course and we get to see Luna: "Lunamaria Hawke, core splendor, iku dayo!"

We see Yuuna and baldie guy seeing the fight. Yuuna looks confident. We see Shinn sans seed mode for now and then we go back to Kira and Athrun. Fight again with Luna fighting and suddenly getting saved from a beam by Shinn. The Destroys are totalling grunts. Cagalli gets to Athrun with teary face and caresses him. He stares. She has his ring. Shinn starts getting flashbacks and goes seed. (Weird music in the background.) Shinn starts fighting awesomely and Talia is almost horrified at this, Dully is happy, Arthur is celebrating: "Sugoi! Sugoi!" Athrun talks like a dying person... Shinn is giving instructions to Luna about what she needs for Impulse. Luna fights nicely. Shinn kills Sting. Djibril flees and the rest of the oldies notice that Djibril disappeared. The guy was smart when he saw the Destroys and all being taken out like grunts. Kira has left Athrun's side and talks to Milli and Murrue. Cagalli is by Athrun's side. We get a glimpse of Lacus in space. Dully is in bliss land, eyes closed and smiling happily.

hmmm... i've got mixed feelings about the new op... one part of me says it sucks coz it ain't your conventional gundam OP... and it looks like they forced the animations to Chemistry's beautiful song... but a part of me says I like it... :laugh i dunno why but i like some parts of it... maybe if it was not a gundam op, i think i'll love it... and i noticed something in the op... they ripped a scene in GW Endless waltz... where Heero boarded WZC and detatched itself from the propulsion/transport machine... they used that on shinn... and i think the op is telling us that shinn will change for the better in the end... well that is what i see from the OP... unless they will make a new one, which i doubt they will do, i think most of the spoilers are really obvious in from the op...

wow... atlast we get to see pictures of akatsuki and the DOM trooper trio... they really coppied the uniform colors of the Black Tri Stars (or whatever the name of that trio in MSG that piloted DOMs... :amuse )...

Nice ED to... but i think i did not see shiho in the ed... :sad nor did i see milli and dearka together :sad but it is nice to see Mwu and Murrue holding hand again... :amuse

i dont think cagalli will be using Akatsuki as her main MS as in the intro she is featured with Strike Rouge, i think she'll give Akatsuki to Mwu once he regains his memories so then everyone can participate in the final battle. I mean if the suit was made before Uzumi's death it has to be at most on the same level as Strike and te other first gen gundams, unless ORB was holding back when they made strike, buster, aegis, dual, and Blitz.

EDIT: I believe Hyaku Shiki is a gold MS from Zeta Gundam and Double Zeta gundam, its ment to be fairly popular in japan as when i was over there the japanese guy I was staying with said it was his most favouite MS, but then again he liked G Gundam better than Gundam W so i didn't really take his opinion seriously.

The 4th ED of Destiny is the best ED to the SEED series ever. It kicks so much ass. The 4th OP however I have to say is the worst. I like the video and even the song a bit, but they don't fit well together. The Akatsuki looks bad ass (Hyakushiki baby!). The Hyakushiki is like the 3rd most popular mobile suit at the moment (thanks in part to the first Zeta movie just released).

I can't wait to see 39 and I haven't even seen 38 yet.

Any relationship Shinn forms with a woman seems a little twisted, but I'm interested to see how this works out. From the looks of things Shinn brutally kills Sting, who probably needed to get taken out of his misery anyway. Just like the rest of the druggies. I don't mean that as a shot at any of them, but they really did seem like they were suffering quite a bit.

I really liked the looks of Akatsuki. Can't wait to see it in action. And hopefully, as I said earlier, Cagalli wont be a crybaby anymore, and actually do some good in it.

You can't even begin to imagine my reaction this morning when I saw it. I started yelling at my brother to wake up, and I was like: "Oh my god! That is the coolest thing ever! Like a new Hyaku Shiki!" -and that kind of stuff. Hopefully my hopes wont be let down. :P

Athrun does look kind of weird in the ORB outfit. I think Kira looks awesome in it, but something about Athrun in it just screams "nerd". He should have kept the ZAFT uniform, so when someone asks him why are you still wearing the ZAFT uniform he tells them "It is because I carry the true ideals of ZAFT in my heart!".

I just finished watching the episode. What can I say? Destiny, Legend and Impulse aced everybody.
Im guessing that those wings that Destiny Gundam has are some kind of an advanced version of the Hi-Mat mode that were in Freedom and Justice. It makes sense why Shinn uses it when he launches the Gundam and why he uses it most of the time in Seed Mode since it makes the Gundam move really fast so the pilot has to react very quickly at the same time.

Well, well boys and girls, preview time at last. Had to go take a swim down the lake here, it's so damn warm outside.

So anyway, like always:

Well well, an interesting episode we have here. Starts out with our fancy new OP, which in my opinion was quite bad. The song is cool and all, but I didn't like the reused crap from other OP's. Anyway, to the actual episode.

Starts out with our fighters of justice (ZAFT) arriving at Heaven's Base on Iceland. Someone tells Gilbert that it has now been five hours (or something) since they sent the ultimatum to them. Gilbert is hoping for them to surrender (on the outside) so they wont have to fight. (inside he probably wants to fight, since it would show the people of the earth that the EAF really are the people to blame, or well, LOGOS at least)

Now to our litte ace-pilot Shinn and his new explorations in the world of love. *cough*

Shinn, getting ready for battle in the lounge next to the MS bay inside the Minerva. Then Lunamaria and tells Shinn that: "Impulse sure is amazing, I wonder if I can use it... like you do..." -then she changes the subject a bit: "Them... LOGOS manipulated them right? Athrun... and Meyrin..." - "I didn't think Meyrin was that kind of girl... not Athrun either. Only if he didn't go to ORB..." (or something, didn't really get the part with Athrun that well, anyway...)

"Athrun is not fair... betraying everyone like that..." - "I'm a idiot too..." - "But I'm not going to loose!" -then she touches Shinn's hair a bit, gently... and tells him not to loose either. Then Lunamaria is about to kiss Shinn or something, but Shinn gets all teary and hugs Lunamaria instead, but after that hug, came the o-so-not-wanted-kiss. I was about to die. Me and my brother went like: "OMFG!" -but at the same time, we though: "Hey, what if Rey walked in there when they were kissing eachother and went: "Shinn! You damn traitor! I thought I was your true love!" -or something. :laugh

Oh well.

Then the EAF/LOGOS initiated their advance against the ZAFT/EAF army and wiped out pretty many of them. Then they launched their Destroy units, and Arthur went all: "EHH!? Five of thoes...!?" -it was a discouraging sight, not pretty at all, I would have pissed my pants over and over again as the Destroy units fiered upon the fleet. Our very own Sting was one of the pilots, and he finally showed us the true druggy-style, not some half-assed retard screaming crap, oh no, he was all psycho and hungry for battle like: "MWAHHAHA FINALLY I CAN KICK BOOTY IN ONE OF THESE, MWHAHAHAHA!" (I'm not kidding, he was like that)

Then Rey, Shinn and Luna launched in their respective mobile suits and then it become scene-reuse galore when Impulse launched. I was about to puke. So, Shinn started killing of some Destroy units, starting off with Sting, going SEED-mode and all, kicking his ass, and finishing him off with his: "Hisatsu wasa, Dai Ken Charge!" (like "Secret Technigue, Big Sword Charge!" :P), and Sting died in an oh-so-not-dramatic way. Then they killed the rest of the Destroy units.

And in all this they showed some scenes of Athrun and Kira on the Archangel. Athrun was quite beat up, almost unable to talk, but he managed to tell Cagalli that he came back because he wanted to see her (best moment in GSD by far IMHO). Athrun also cried a bit when he saw Kira as he regained consciousness.

Uhm... that pretty much concludes the episode. An overall very good episode, and finally, in the next episode, it's time for the debut of Strike Freedom. And by the looks of it, it seems the Eternal is decending into the atmosphere. We might indeed see it in battle on earth in episode 40 and 41. :)

EDIT: god dammit...Sting got the shittiest part in the whole series for a semi-developed character. He's like a damn cannon fodder -_-.

EDIT #2: :scry ...Luna and Shinn....I'm happy yet sad at the same time.

EDIT #3:also is Meyrin dead?..watch it was like...Meyrin sacraficed herself somehow and died and saved Athrun. -_-

EDIT #4: Sounds like there is alot of Destiny action. I can't wait to see it.
I love Destiny...I keep watching the Destiny scene from 37 over and over.

wow just watched the episode it was kick ass! man those destroys went down pretty fast. but the most shock is OMG? lunamaria acting like fllay? she said that she hated Logos and she blamed Logos for meryin defection so with athrun and when she was rubbing shinn hand she said that please defeat or fight the Logos and Beat them. i hope this doesnt go to fllay thing. pleas no sex scene. But another suprise is freedom next episode? OMG? i cant wait and it think yzak is in that episode since you do see diakka's zaku. cant wait for next week.

Nah, it's not Dearka's Zaku. He wouldn't shoot at the Eternal. Yzak and Dearka are pretty much supporters of the Clyne Factions, thus they wont attack them, rather, they would help them prevent the terrible things about to happen. :)

well i could be wrong but i think that zaku that looksl like diakka was shooting at a another zaku i think. if you pause it pretty slow you kind of see the beam hitting a small target and it was probely a zaku or a gouf who knows. well i guess we have to wait untill next week. oh and i have a quesiton. sry to go off topic but when downloading the latest episode of GSD is it illegal? i mean is it bad? i know GSD is already lisenced but they dont lisense every episode right? or do they? i'm just wondering if it's safe to download it.

Same as me. The whole series is already licensed, meaning, they own the rights for all episodes, thus, it is illegal to download them. But as Kereo said, who cares. I think of licensed stuff like this:

Since they haven't released DVD's with episodes up untill the current episode, you can't call it illegal since my downloading their episodes dosen't affect the sales of the DVD's. Meaning, me downloading the episodes each week dosen't matter at all. :)
