Oh haha he can? I really don't read much about what people post about their armaments. Well if thats true then yeah... Shinn is at quite a big disadvantage then haha.
And if he still holds his own when he faces Kira with funnels.

at least I hope people still don't lol.
well i've never said Shinn actually sucked ass, since if he did he would never
1.figure out Kira's weakness
2.be able to use that weakness to defeat him
3.never ever be able to use Destiny to it's full capacity
4.never be able to dodge one of his attacks.

It may sound like I'm trying to make Shinn out as the better pilot, but I'm not lol
I just want to point out that Shinn isn't crap compared to Kira as some may think.
b/c I still see people elsewhere that basically want to say that Shinn should get owned and not be able to put up a fight against Kira.i want him to get owned but not without a good fight, then it would be all boring to watch it.
I feel as if Shinn is very looked down upon =( when I read thigns like that haha.
But its what they think so yeah =P..hopefully there arent anyone of those in this forum =) but its fine if there are..like I said I don't want to debate/argue anymore.
I want to enjoy my last 8 episodes of Destiny.
hehe lets enjoy the last eps together and hope shinn switches side :D

Destiny's Deutron nuclear reactor can run out of juice and freedom's nuclear power is infinite, Do you know why??:huh

I assume Deuterion reactors =Radioisotope electric generator
It's Nuclear material contained in a liquid form. Thermocouples react with the radioactive fuel causing decay and create heat energy to power the gundam. Its smaller than a nuclear reactor, but as the radioactive fuel decay they can gradually run out. It last longer than battery, but will eventually run out. I assume legend and destiny have those.:amuse

Nuclear Jammer canceller= true nuclear reactor.
Uranium-235 bombarded by neutron via control rod. The reaction cause the atom to split and create massive heat which produce energy. Since the process of introducing neutron is controlled by the insert and release of control rod. Collant must be introuduced to help cool the reactor to slow down the fission process. The enrich uranium give off energy little at a time and can last for years until the Uranium is depleated. If massive neutron is introduced to uranium and plutonium than caboom nuclear explosion three mile island and chernoble. :laugh .

Freedom and destiny have those, they are large and highly volitile, but will last for years.

This concludes todays physics/engineering lesson.

42 was a great episode. Loved how Shinn got ticked off when Strike Freedom arrived holding hands with Justice. Well... well... looking foward to Athrun kicking some butt.

Otherwise.. the DOMs are SO funny... they somehow resemble to super market trolleys...(you know when you step on the ledge of the trolley and skid though the isle..)

anyway... GOOD EP.

as always a great episode of GSD. shinn did good against Kira, better than what I've expected actually, and Kira was cool as usual, when Kira came down through the sky while the song vestige was playing in the background, I thought I would have an orgasm thats for sure.
the DOM troopers was cool to, aww the whole ep was like an giant orgasm :p
Damn I need to get myself a new girlfriend...

Oh my gosh, you are butching the english language. Sigh, it makes me very depress when I see other people use improper english:S. Anyways back to the topic, I thought the whole event when Kira threw his two guns in the air, parrying Shinn's attack,and catching it, that my friends was just awsome. It was very original. I never seen it happen in any of the Gundams. The Doms, I hope I spell it right, were just amazing. It almost gave me a heart attack when the three Doms did their jet stream attack. In conclusion, I really think the animators are pushing the envoloped to its max. I hope the next episode will be as exciting as 42.

Another thing came to my mind, it seems Destiny Gundam isn't as good as Strike Freedom, mainly, it just don't have the stamina like Strike Freedom. The ironic thing is that Destiny Gundam is name after the show, yet Strike is winning, you can argue he didn't win but he did withdraw, very interesting.

it was said S-F was the main MS of Destiny and Kira was the main protagonist for the last episodes. That leads me to believe Kira will fight some unknown MS more powerful than S-F, I-J, and Destiny.

Destiny could mean something else other than just the MS. Yeah and please be respectful of others. Lots of people on the forums don't even use English as a first language, some have disabilities, and others are using stupid on-screen keyboards like yours truly. I agree, no more on the matter

The dino is a entry level ferrari that will fall below the f430 line of gt cars. Its price is estimated to be $100,000, which is a bargain for ferrari. This car was initial designed to replace the masserati coupe, however masserati was given to Alfa Rameo recently. So ferrari redesignated the car as an entry level ferrari. A porsche fighter and a response to austin martin vantage v8. :)

well we saw Raww Le Kuruze die.
The glass on his helmet shatter so there really is no way he could have lived
As for Mwu, yes his helmet was in space as well.
But they made Gundam SEED: Special Edition, which apparently overrites the originial series.
And in those 3 movies when Mwu was "killed" his helmet was editied out from that scene.
However I do not know if they edited out Raww's death.
If they did then disregard this whole statement but if the glass still shattered on his hemelt in the SE movies then he is dead because we saw him die.

True Andrew and Sting magically came back to life. But it is basically a rule now that if you don't see the character itself die then there is a chance he is alive.
ie. Sting, we only saw Chaos blow up so there was a chance he lived. He then got impaled by Destiny's sword and was covered with blood so he is dead.
Auel is dead, we saw his helmet fill up with blood
Nicol is death, we saw his helmet fill with blood too.
Andrew could not be proclaimd daed because all we saw was his BuCue blow up and he is alive to this episode.
Heine is dead, we saw him get cut in two.

I can go on but yeah get my drift? lol
If we see the character itself somehow show signs of being killed then there is a chance they're alive

But yeah... I went on and on about pointless stuff lol

I don't agree with you. Rey and Shinn may come around, and join Kira's team. I am being to think maybe Raw La Ku Say, I hope I spell it right if not please correct me, is still alive. You guys may argue that there is no way because Kira stab him in the Providence's cockpit with the beam saber. However, it has be proved time and time again that characters in Seed always somehow manages to come back, this includes, Muw and Kira. If you look at Muw's death scene, there is no way he could have come back. So, I think there is hope for Raw too.

WOAH! That's pretty farfetched when u say that Rey+Shinn will switch sides. If that is the case, who are the main antagonist? Main antagonist as in the ms antagonist that is considered to be the same calibre or if not better than SF+IF+DESTINY+LEGEND? So essentially what u got is a boring serie and quite predictable one too(the outcome of the war). However, i do agree that Klueeze still might be lurking within the dark

Shinn did not figure out Kira's weakness, Rey did. Of the two, Rey is more analytical and cold. Shinn apparently has more skills. And I do not believe Rey will go to the light because there would be no one else to fulfill the character of the villain, and I suspect Le Creset lives on inside Rey somewhere. I also suspect he is more villainous than Dullindal. Just this feeling I get from him lol

In Episode 45, Cagalli returns the ring to Athrun. Meyrin and Cagalli will have a talk. It seems that Athrun and Cagalli become independent and go their seperate ways to solve their own problems. Episode 45 and 46 will have some Athrun and Meer.

I'm guessing Athrun goes to save Meer? And I'm also guessing that Cagalli returns the ring to him as she needs to take care of ORB first. Or maybe she gives it back to him and says, "You come back alive and give this to me again."

I think he has been holding back, probably part of this plan or soemthing.
Unless he turns out to be some real psycho like Raww and was acting all nice and was using Gilly lol.

Also at this rate, if spoilers are true. Shinn won't switch sides until the very end.
Unless maybe Atrhun can get alot of his words out and Shinn believes some of it , he might switch earlier although I doubt that.

Also I was just bored at work and started to think anout random crap.
And I noticed that Athrun and Shinn are basically the same type of character.
Only difference's are is that Shinn is a more angry person than Athrun and also Shinn doesn't have friends to help him see the light.

Although these are big differences that make the character who they are if you think about it they are both the same.
I'm sure if Stellar was normal and still lived, and maybe played a role for Shinn like Kira was to Athrun then Shinn would switched sides just like Athrun.
But then again that would have been a rip off GS lol.

Well, if the battle scene increases, the amount of turns decreases. But she does not go away.

As long as the chairman comes out, Lacus comes out.

so I was watching 41/42... and wow...once Shinn came in with Destiny ORB got freaking owned, even though ORB was owning ZAFT
I only skipped around but the episode but damn lol... its weird how Shinn gets so good so quick like someone mentioned.
I guess Destiny is a really good suit? If Shinn is some type of super-coordinator or something though, that would be kinda dumb lol.

It's no surprise that Ed slightly edged out Kira in one of those rankings. The FMA movie just came out in Japan, but what I'm surprised about is how badly Ed and Kira crushed everyone else.

Anyway I'm anxious to see how Dullindal's plans fail. Ha, he can probably defeat the whole Earth Alliance, but he'll lose to Archangel and Eternal.

T.M. Revolution's character, Westenfluss, is the German translation of his last name (Nishikawa, which translates to "western river").

Sporting Zakus, Goufs, and now Doms, Gundam Seed Destiny marks the first time in the franchise's history that vintage Universal Century mobile suits have appeared in an alternate-universe Gundam series. Though Zakus and Kapools also appeared in Turn A Gundam, the belief that said series is intended to tie all of the alternative Gundam timelines up until that point together suggests a valid connection back to the Universal Century.

In Episode 23, character Heine Westenfluss' dialogue and choreography as he battles Stellar Loussier's Gaia Gundam pay a very clever homage to Mobile Suit Gundam character Ramba Ral. Both Westenfluss and Ral—piloting Gouf mobile suits—speak the line "This is no Zaku...no Zaku!" when in combat, and one shot in particular where Westenfluss ensnares Stellar's Gundam in the Gouf's whip-like heat rod weapon is identical to Ral trapping Amuro in the original series (complete with a long vertical pan in front of a pink background).

Gundam Seed Destiny's staff placed in the show many references to another of Director Mitsuo Fukuda's series, Future GPX Cyber Formula. Most notable is the convertible that Athrun drives in Episode 8, which is a civilian-use version of the Asurada, the protagonist Hayato Kazami's racing machine from Cyber Formula. The character King T@KED@, Meer Campbell's kansai-dialect speaking agent, is actually voiced by and modeled on the looks of Gundam Seed Destiny's executive producer, Seiji Takeda.

One of the longest running ideas in the Gundam Universe is the "masked character" or "the Char-type." In Seed Destiny, three of the voice actors played "masked characters" in previous Gundam outings. Toshihiko Seki (Rey Za Burrel) played Rau La Creusset in "Gundam Seed." Takehito Koyasu (Neo) played Zechs Marquis in "Gundam Wing." And the original Char Aznable himself, Shuichi Ikeda, plays Chairman Gilbert.

In episode 39, Destiny once again pays homage to the original Mobile Suit Gundam, or more specifically, Char Aznable. Kira has a Newtype flash and then fires his funnels at an enemy ship, screaming "Hit them!" There is an identical scene at the end of Mobile Suit Gundam, when Char is fighting in the Zeong. He also has a Newtype flash and screams "Hit them!" as he fires at the enemy.

Yet another homage to the original Mobile Suit Gundam series can be found in Episode 39. Kira's battle against the 25 Zakus and Goufs is extremely similar to Amuro's battle against the 12 Rick Doms in Episode 33. Also, the now-famous line "He destroyed 12 Rick Doms in two minutes?!" by the Zeon commander Conskon is uttered by the ZAFT commander in similar fashion.

Dullindal might be pimp as a pilot in that thing (and come on, he has Char's VA :P ). In addition the suit may just be that powerful. I remember when a non-SEEDed Kira completely trashed Rau, but when Rau got into Providence he pushed Kira to his limits and heavily damaged Freedom.

Hmm so Dullindal used to be close to Seigal Clyne and his group. That's very interesting. I woudln't be surprised if that's the reason Lacus could not trust Dullindal. Dullindal also knew that if Lacus was anything like her father, she would not agree with what Dullindal was doing and eventually take action much like she did in the first war.

I think its been well established that Kira with his Ultamate Co-ordinator New Type ablilties is the best pilot ever, plus its seems that japanese kids these days like god-like robot like characters have about as much depth of character as my pet rock :laugh i shouldn't make fun, Mr Rock has shown numerous times that he has a sense of humour by throwning himself into the backs of peoples heads (Mr Rock I love you). Anyway enough of my ranting.

I'm really dying to see how this series ends, i dont want it to end as a fan fest with all the characters people like surviving (:sad cuz then Shinn would die lol) and plus i there would be no surprise to it. Heres hoping Mr Writer gets some balls and kills of a character people that doesn't rank low on the ladder. I've not gotten over Hiene getting killed after what? 3 episodes, what a waste of a funny character plus he was in the intro for 12 episodes.

Athrun hasn't done any good piloting since the beginning of Destiny. If he were to all of a sudden get better it would just be that he finally remembers who he is, and that he is an elite pilot. I can't wait to see him in action. Anyone notice how the joints of the I-Justice shine silver? They aren't as noticeable as S-Freedom's gold joints, but I just wanted to point that out.

Sheesh I want to see what Yzak and Dearka are going to do. It's been forever, and no word from them. I know Yzak is not pleased with Dullindal.

IMO i dont think Yzak will switch sides, he is loyal as they come. He isnt very open minded like Dearka, but seeing how Dearka is pal to Yzak and prolly his only friend. I dont think he'll switch sides either. That is why he stayed with ZAFT rather than picking the path as Athrun

The last time Yzak and Dearka appeared Yzak was clearly upset with Dullindal. I don't think they will really switch sides, but I don't think Yzak will be happy if given the order to take out Archangel and Eternal. Switching sides at the very end I think will be left for Shinn, who will get his ass whooped by Kira or Athrun and finally have some forward movement in development as a character.

That will be somewhat hard bc when Djbril fires requiem at PLANT, people of PLANT+ZAFT will be more persuaded to Gill than Lacus. Lacus will prolly try to convey the ppl of the world that coordinatar and natural should coop with one another, but seeing how the reguiem was fired at plant, that perspective will change. And i dont think Dearka and Yzak works under for Lacus bc Athrun didnt even know about it. You even saw Yzak trying to convince Athrun to come back to PLANT. And you also have to consider that there has to be a balance in the serie. If Dearka and Yzak leaves .. then obviously ORB+Cylne Factor will be pretty stacked; Mwu's mobile armor, SF, IJ, Gaia, 3 DOMS, Orb's unit, Akatsuki, Eternal, AA, and etc.

Heh well I didn't say Yzak shouldn't respect Dullindal's decision, but he was upset about it. Djibril firing Requiem does give Dullindal more ammunition. Yzak may look at it like both are at fault like the folks on AA, Eternal, etc. Dullindal backed Djibril up into a corner, and Djibril being the type of person he is fires a weapon of mass destruction. It could even be that Dullindal wanted Djibril to fire that weapon, so when Dullindal stops him he can look like more of a hero in the eyes of the people and further his secret ideals.

They will be two groups but that dosn't mean they will both not go after Djibril, it's just that they will have an additional goal like last war which will be to take down Dundiel also.

The gowing joints in Freedom and Justice remind me of something from UC timeline. Could they be the equivalent of bio-sensors like Zeta and ZZ had? Of course in the case of UC biosensors they usually didn't display much unless it was a pretty powerful newtype move.

As for Clyne faction being stacked, I wouldn't blame them if they are, they gonna go face against two large forces, so none would blame them if they had the strongest fighters at their side.

When i say stack, i mean it's waaaaay stacked. Sure they will have to face 2 foes, but they are nothing more than conventional units which ORB's units+Mwu's MA+Gaia+3 Doms+Akatsuki+AA+Eternal+etc can easily handle. So the main battle will be Destroyer vs Legend+Destiny vs IJ+SF. If we can observe the battle so far, Destroyer is nothing ... it can be easily be destroyed by Legend+Destiny or IJ+SF. So in addition, the small fries (conventional units) will be nothing more to the ORB+Clyne Factor. So if u throw in Dearka and Yzak ... that is way stacked.

ZAFT wont be split up into 2 bc the only way to do that is if Gill is exploited. But when the requiem is fired at PLANT. The people wont listen to Lacus, why should they? So far what ive concluded, the Destiny plan is something that has to relate to gene manipulation; the chart consist of oraganism and was based on their ages, and 1 of them includes human. So whoopie do. Having that book won't exploit Gill of his true intention. The only main way that he'll get exploited is by Meer. But i can prolly see that Gill will try to trick the people by doing it vice versas; so Lacus will be viewed as the imposter.
Theyre going against 2 forces at once. They will need a lot of help. I think your forgetting that mwu/cagalli arent super fighters and that they could easily be destroyed by a very big number of normal suits. DOM troopers are strong but theyre also not invincible. Eternal and AA are ships. Even though theyre in the best ships, im sure a big number of other ships could take them on. Yzak and Dearka arent also super pilots. Yes theyre good, but not that good as to make a huge difference.

On the other side, EA can produce a lot of destroys, they probably got a weapon of mass destruction. Zaft has Legend, Destiny and Impulse, and theyve got a few billion normal suits.

So ya I dont really think its stacked.

Gee ... i duno where uve been lately but have u seen Akatsuki in action? It's obvious that it's > conventional unit! Note* she easily defeated Gouf+Zaku, and if she were to fight the EA conventional unit, the outcome is the same. Mwu with his MA is pretty damn good against conventional unit. I know at that time Shinn wasn't that great in the beginning of the serie, but Mwu w.o a doubt couldve beaten Shinn if Rey didnt help. As well, with the backup of Gaia+Orb unit+2 ships+3 DOMS+etc ... they'll do more than fine...

I duno where you got mass production of Destroyer ... so if it is 500 units vs Legend+Destiny vs +IJ+SF ... then ya, i'll take what i said. But chances are, that isnt the case. You know how much $$ they need? Better yet, they need GOOD pliots. YOu have to take into consideration they r natural pilots. I dont think we'll see any extended anymore

Shinn was equal with Kira, unless Infinite Justice is like amazing and like Chillin said ...remembers who he is and starts being elite again.

But I guess we jsut have to wait for 43 and see how they go with it.
Chances are Athrun will not lose, but I think he will not win so easily either.
If he does then seriously... they suck ass with Athrun's character in Destiny.

As for Yzak...remember he never did switch sides in GS
Even with Patrick Zala as the chairman firing GENESIS
Patrick wanted to wipe out the Earth, Gilly seems like he wants to take it over.
Dearka has a chance of switching but IMO Yzak won't. If they have him switch that will just ruin his character.
Yzak never fought for Lacus, I duno where you get this idea that they're are hidden clyne faction members. Maybe Dearka but Yzak has always been a loyal ZAFT soldier.
Towards the end did he try to convince ZAFT to stop? No
If he did I will be more lead to believe he is with Lacus.
If anything he will just help them fight like he did in GS.
For him to defect would be a total change of character for him and would really make me disappointed with Yzak.

IMO if they switch..it will be stacked.
As they are the more better/elite pilots of ZAFT.
Actually it's already stacked IMO
Strike Freedom can easily take out a fleet alone
Same with Infinite Justice since its another main suit.
Akatsuki can't be shot down unless you use a beam sabre so that gives it an edge.
3 DOM's with close to elite pilots and a coordinated attack that can clearly wipe out a good number of MS
Two METEOR's..forgot to mention those <_<
A very agile suit, piloted by an elite pilot...Gaia with Andrew
Not to mention they have Neo who is a amazing pilot as well.
Who most likely will get Strike Rouge.

What do ZAFT have thats really amazing compared to those.
Destiny, Legend and Impulse.
Now if you don't think thats stacked then wow... Shinn, Rey and Lunamaria must be some good ass pilots to be even with all those.
We all know grunts are nothing. They made serve as support and distraction but they won't take anything down.
So I'm with JH1stGen about Kira and co. being stacked.

Ya but u have to consider that EA and ZAFT are hurting at the moment. Both lost lots of units during the battle in Heaven Base. So their "quantity" have decreased dramatically. So EA only has the moon while ZAFT didnt really change much exceptt the casualties in the invasion at Heaven's Base. So given to that, i think ORB+Clyne Factor can take those 2 foe's conventional units.

The odds are a little more stacked against AA and Eternal than in the last war. They have a whole force with the sole intention of destroying them unlike last time where it was just Dominion's job. They have to fight superior pilots than the ones in SEED. Considering in SEED it seemed they were pretty stacked as well with three ships, Meteor, Justice, Freedom, Strike, Strike Rouge, the Astrays, and Buster and they still had quite the hard time bringing an end to the battle. This time they have S-F, I-J, two ships, Meteor, Akatsuki, DOMs, Gaia, and whatever Mu pilots.

Well ... they (Orb+Clyne Factor) in Seed did fine against EA and ZAFT at once. But now, their power has increased. Orb only had what those girls in Astray and SR? Now Orb has 100+ units + an upgrade with having Akatsuki. Clyne didnt have much except Eternal, now they have 3 DOMS+Gaia. Yes ... Justice and Freedom got an upgrade for the better ... and who knows about the meteor. Mwu's MA that he was piloting was pretty slick, and is an upgrade over strike IMO. So when u really look at it, THAT IS STACKED!

Erm ZAFT and LOGOS will still have more units then the 3 ship alliance. Your looking at the wrong way:

Kira has to take on, Rey and Dundiel who both have super MS.

Athrun has to take on Shinn.

Cagalli has to take on Luna (guessing that gonna be their all female spothlight match).

AA and Eternal has to take on those whole ZAFT + EA ships, which includes Minerva on ZAFT side and Guirty Lew on EA side (we don't know if Kusanagi will appear). Note that Eternal isn't a battleship it's a Carrier.

The Murasame + DOM Trooper team + Mwu + Andrew has to protect AA and Eternal from the 1000s of conventional MS that will be on them.

So no they won't be stacked. Clyne faction won't have that many ships either, I am guessing Voltaire (Izak's ship) plus maybe 2~3 other Nazca class ships.

So no having Izak and Dearka on the 3 ship alliance side won't overstack them, if anything it will make their battle/goal more possible. They did the same in Gundam X.

ZAFT's power has increased as well with their mass production suits and their Gundams. They also have overwhelming numbers in comparison to AA and co. Also it was not the intention of EA and ZAFT to annihilate the Three Ships Alliance in SEED. Certainly they were a huge threat, but EA and ZAFT were more concerned about each other. This time ZAFT is gunning for them with the sole purpose of wiping them out. I think it's pretty even at the moment. AA and co. have more pilots and suits that mean a damn, but ZAFT has the numbers plus a fair share of powerful suits and quality pilots.

Ya i know that EA and ZAFT have more numbers than ORB+Clyne Factor. Like Chillin said, it's essestially a battle between quality and quantity. And so far, i can tell that quality>quantity. I mean, how many units were deployed to take down Minerva on epi 12? Same can be said when Orb+EA tried to take down Minerva. Numbers dont really do much in this serie IMO.

From what ive heard, it's gona be:
Shinn vs Athrun = close combat
Rey vs Kira = funnel

However, ive also heard that on epi 43 Athrun>Shinn ... so big whoop there. And if they drag it into space, IJ will be equipped with Meteor (even better)

From my guess, i think Kira>Rey bc Kira will have SF's funnel + Meteor + endurance (NJ)

So if Shinn+Rey goes down? Who is left to protect ZAFT? If by any chance Legend+Destiny retreats (like when Destiny retreated), Kira+Athrun will just go into the battlefield and take out the small fries. If Kira can destroy 25 Goufs+Zakus in 2 mins ... the battle shouldnt take long

I also heard that the moonbase will be defeated and along with the EA's force, and that is the end of the LOGO and Djbril. So the EA will be prolly be out of the battle. If that is the case, again the ZAFT will be hurt in their numbers bc of the casulties

Pfft, S-F alone is enough to take care of Legend. Adding Meteor might be overkill...or maybe not since Kira faired better against Rau after Meteor got wasted (Meteor gives you a lot of firepower, but your mobility gets shot as a result).

I think AA and co. will win, but I think they have an uphill battle in front of them. It won't be a walk in the park. Dullindal has to fail in his plans at some point (and Shinn to an extent), and that will be the time.

Freedom+Meteor had to evade/block Province's funnel. While doing that, it was pretty much on the defensive zone. HOWEVER! With SF with its funnel, it can play defensive and offensive (funnel). I think the reason why Kira didnt do so well with the Meteor against Klueeze is bc he was distracted with Flay

But yeah, those things could make all the difference. Like in SEED no one could touch Freedom and Justice with their units. Only Providence.
The only way I would not see it as being stacked is if Destiny, Legend and Impulse prove to be amazing in that fight.
Which I would not mind at all because I really think they are good pilots.
If Rey is as good as Raww then he can probably easily beat one of the METEOR units.
And Shinn is basically the best pilot in ZAFT.
I guess its not too stacked, but yeah this all started because people thought if Yzak and Dearka switch it'd would/wouldn't be stacked. I think it would be though, however I still believe Shinn and Rey can hold their own with pilots. Well Shinn at least.
He can very well take out every single suit out there except for Strike-Freedom and maybe Infinite Justice. I don't even think Shinn can be taken down very easily by those two either. Maybe 2v1 but 1v1 I doubt it haha.

I guess it depends how you look at it lol.

EDIT: For soem reaosn I don't see Impulse being in the picture lol.
I get the feeling Lunamaria will switch sometime soon.
Maybe in the middle of the big battle or something

Can S-F release it's funnels while docked with Meteor? Or can it have the funnels released indefinitely? I know with a lot of other suits that had funnels/bits they had to return to the suit to be recharged after a while.

Shinn may b the ace in ZAFT but you even heard from Gill that Kira is the ultimate soldier. Hence Kira is the ace in the serie ;) or at least that is the way i think of it

Don't think SF and IJ can use the meteors anymore. From the look of ep 39, it seems the Meteors have become part of Eternal's weapon. In SEED Eternal couldn't use those units. I think Lacus will control those 2 units from Eternal kinda like big funnels (thats the more probable idea).

Even if they put in there I wouldn't bet on it. The first one where you see Freedom docking with a Meteor is the old Freedom, in the scene after when you see it shoot looks like SF (gold plasma cannon in the chest), for all we know it's the animator trying to fool us.

I think its been well established that Kira with his Ultamate Co-ordinator New Type ablilties is the best pilot ever, plus its seems that japanese kids these days like god-like robot like characters have about as much depth of character as my pet rock :laugh i shouldn't make fun, Mr Rock has shown numerous times that he has a sense of humour by throwning himself into the backs of peoples heads (Mr Rock I love you). Anyway enough of my ranting.

I'm really dying to see how this series ends, i dont want it to end as a fan fest with all the characters people like surviving (:sad cuz then Shinn would die lol) and plus i there would be no surprise to it. Heres hoping Mr Writer gets some balls and kills of a character people that doesn't rank low on the ladder. I've not gotten over Hiene getting killed after what? 3 episodes, what a waste of a funny character plus he was in the intro for 12 episodes.
hmmm.... i hope that guy that reminds you of a rock is Shinn...

I say they'll probably repair the Strike Rouge and keep Kira's program/colors so Mu can pilot it without looking like a wuss on the battlefield. Him getting his custom Windam back would be cool, but Kira ripped that thing apart. They didn't bother taking the wreck up to AA. Unless he finds one amongst what used to be EA's moon base he won't be piloting one of those.

ok... its late but here is my opinion on the yzak thing...
first of all, how would we know that ORB will completely tag along with the clyne faction? cagalli might order a few units and maybe kusanagi... but i can't see the whole ORB army backing AA+lacus in space because ORB itself will need protection since it is a war... and they have lost a huge amount of units during the battles in the suez, etc... I completely agree with chillin that quantity can = quality... no matter how many suits kira, athrun, DOM Troopers, Mwu, Cagalli, Andy, and all of them can take out, they will always be against a swarm of grunts... and they will definitely have a hard time... why a swarm? think of it this way... ZAFT and EA are composed of many nations/countries... while the lacus faction is a private group backed by a eurasian country and ORB... private group vs armies of all other countries... you get the picture... now with this in mind, the faction can never be over stacked... because they will definitely more since, as chillin said, they are being targeted by zaft unlike in GS...
next... i think S-F cant use the funnels while docked in METEOR because the wings are folded... unless S-F can deploy them while folded, i just think kira can't...
lastly, the OP features S-F and I-J... the animation was recycled from GS... what else can you expect from this reused scene series?
ok now we just need to wait for 43 for confirmation on these things...:amuse

For some reason when Lacus gave that speech to Athrun and he was looking up at Justice, they then switched to Shinn and him looking up at Destiny.
The impression I got from that is that I think they're trying to show us that the speech was directed toward Shinn as well.
Somehow I see Athrun giving it to Shinn, which makes Shinn hesitant
but good old Rey comes in and snaps him out of it again lol.

Rey is weird now, he seems so cruel. He tells Luna that she is just a hindrance and shit. I was like WTF? lol
I'm starting to lose my liking in Rey =/. He is manipulating poor little Shinn so much lol. Most of the actions Shinn has done was because of Rey's words. Rey is like his best friend so I would be surprised if he went again them.

although this has been said many times...the DOMs are sooooooo cool lol.

I'm going to assume Kira defeats Shinn at the end, and goes on to fight another guy (Dullindal/Fortune?). Kira is losing and Shinn comes in a damaged Destiny and saves him. I think Kira vs. Shinn would be too weird of a final battle and seemingly anticlimactic. Shinn is just a pawn in all of this; he's very useful, but a pawn nonetheless. He shouldn't be the "big gun". As much as I want to see Shinn fight alongside them for a battle or two, you're right in saying that most likely won't happen, he'll probably just hit a very last minute turn around.

IMO Kira dont really care about Shinn compare to Athrun. I think like everyone said so far that Athrun still believes in Shinn and wants to persuade him. Athrun knows Shinn is just confused and feels sympathy .. maybe even empathy.

Rey has beef with Kira bc he killed Klueeze who is a possible father to Rey. And it is realistic that it's Rey vs Kira bc Rey was the one that found out Kira's weakness.

Also an eventual confrontation between Kira/Lacus and Dullindal is likely whether it be in a mobile suit or not. I can see Dullindal spouting his crazy ideals to Kira and Lacus. Telling them Shinn and Meer were just mere (whoa) substitutes for them and how they should come join him in his ambitions.

I don't think as many people will die at the end of Destiny as in SEED. I see the big major characters living through it. It would be kind of dumb to end the SEED storyline with a blood bath. We've already seen that many times in Destiny, and I'm pretty sure we'll see it again once Dullindal attacks EA for the final time. It should stop right there, and once he goes to attack AA and co. he sees that their minds are one, and they fight truly for freedom and justice and all that ideal and moral stuff that really hasn't shined through yet in Destiny because of all the dark story.

Well I'll put it like this. On Dullindal's chessboard, Kira is the white king and Lacus is the white queen. If Dullindal hops in a mobile suit, he will most likely run into Kira and they will have a clashing of the minds (sort of like Rau and Kira in SEED only Kira is more mature now and Dullindal isn't outwardly psycho). If he doesn't I still think he will have an eventual conversation with Lacus. If it is face-to-face you can almost assure that Kira will be there since Kira couldn't trust Dullindal as far as he could throw him. Dullindal also had/has an interest in Kira's power and potential, as he alluded to in episode 36.

I think if there's a confrontation between Gill and Kira ... it should be similar to the one with Klueeze and Kira. Gill has background knowledge of Kira, and it could be due to the fact that he specialize in DNA. The covero might lead to the point where more shocking things could be relieved ... which is what im hoping.

If that doesnt happen, i can see Rey and Kira.

From what i could make out. The destiny plan is just a proposal for gene manipulation. It consisted a chart of oraganisms, and one of them includes human, basing on their capacity of age. There was a question in the page that says,"Is gene manipulation possible?" So im guessing that the recessive traits/or unwanted traits was the main focus in that book

LoL Chillin! you really do like your anime dvds, either that or you have too mcuh money on your hands. I only have the Samurai Champloo box set, Scryed Box set, and Kenshin OAV box set, i'm relatively poor and i only tend to buy anime that i really really like.

back to the topic, I really want good a dramitic ending, I was disapointed with seeds ending, i really want it to get across the point that war never ends good and that all that fight in them get screwed by it. I'm really not looking forward to the idealistic bullshit and coming from the Eternal's side, they preach about not killing people and that war is not the way to find peace but then they go and fight in these wars. Oh shit I'm ranting again :laugh sorry i can't seem to stop it these days. I'm still so very very traumatised from watching this show.

that's just typical. It's always an arguement/war over there about who deserves Athrun.

I want Athrun and cagalli to stay together (DUH!) for the main reason they symbolize something IMPORTANT and all that developement would've been WASTED.

Meyrin fans are just there because they are being attacked (somewhat) by certain AsuCaga fans, which is understandable since AsuCaga fans (the rabid ones) believe she's some sort of "threat" to the relationship. I mean, episode 45 spoilers state that Cagalli and Meyrin have a talk and to pay attention to Cagalli's left hand.

Yes, America did play both sides in WW1,(the shipment of arms to germany was seized by british blockade and bought by britain), but at the time America and Britain weren't as friendly as they are now. Germany, America and Britiain was in an arms race and everyone wanted the big gun (Dreadnaught).

It wasn't until the INTERNATIONAL TREATY FOR THE LIMITATION AND REDUCTION OF NAVAL ARMAMENT in 1922 that tension eased between US and Britain. WW2 made them official allies.

On a more gundam related note: The RAW will be out in roughly 24 hours, looking forward to it so much. Hopefully we will finally see Athrun doing something instead of just watching, or hardly even trying. Also, I am very curious to see what Cagalli will broadcast on television in order to halt the battle (even if only for a moment).

I think I know how Athrun will whip Shinn's butt. Shin gonna use his excaliber sword attack and Athrun is gonna use his beam shield and trasform it to sword mode which will become a large beam broad sword (kinda like Epyon's one) and he gonna chop the excalibur sword to pieces then gonna start choping destiny's other armaments.

I think Athrun gonna answer the ultimate question which is stronger a half beam sword (excalibure has a steel side) or a full beam sword (large beam sword out of the shield is entirely energy).

Shinn is easily persuaded, even moreso than Athrun. Rey can play upon that and he knows it. He is a very crafty individual in league with Dullindal with how his words cut right to the heart of the matter. Of course it's all just lies (which is why he always interferes when Athrun talks to Shinn), and I've been hoping lately that he would get what's coming to him. If he tries interrupting Athrun again in 43 I hope Kira and S-Freedom give him a golden backhand.

Damn it. It seems that when I leave this thread for a long period of time (two days, you guys are faster than the computer evolution) something really skewed rears its ugly head. I do remember some nonsense was said in the v2 by Son_Pan and was debating neg rep. As the topic seems to be dead I want to raise some more information, so that things don't get off topic again. The next one may go on for four pages since the first one was only about 3 posts with no debate.

The part I disagree with is that you said all republicans are rich and that is untrue. The fact is that in the last election only a few states voted for democrat. I should add that in those states there were more Republicans voting than democrats to keep away from any confusion. That is to say that the minority voted for Kerry in 2004 in those states. I'm sure some Republicans in the red states voted for Bush, but wasn't enough to defeat the majority of democrats.

I doubt there are many rich people in most of the states of the US. If that were true then the republicans wouldn't win any elections because rich people amount for only 1-2% of the US population.

I will repute your claim by adding that the Nazis killed 9 Million people, ~6 million of which were Jews. You are correct with your claim that America wasn't clean of blood either but almost everyone in the war commited horrible acts of violence.

As for Hiroshima, if you were told that you could end the the war by either sending thousands of your men to their deaths or killing thousands of the enemy (even if they were innocent), then what would you choose? I'm not excusing the killing the innocents, it was horrible, but you can't say the decision wasn't a really hard one to make.

Well, since Gundam Seed Destiny has brought up WWI and WWII, I think that it is similar to both Gundam Seed and Destiny. For example: you could say that Genesis gun at the end was like the A-Bomb and sending it into the moon was like bombing Hiroshima. The bombing of the Earth would be like bombing Nagasaki, except that ZAFT didn't go through with it and was able to come to terms with the enemy because of the threat placed on the Earth Alliance.

Blue Cosmos could be the Nazis, which is what my first thoughts were when they came up in Seed. I think Destiny is more like WWI, since it is more like an arms race.

That's doubtful. Klueeze never went seed and Rey is somehow connected to Klueeze whether that be a father/son relation, clone of Klueeze and etc. In any case, they're related by blood.

I just have a theory about Gill. You know Gill specialize in gene? And as well with his relation with Tal? How Tal left Gill bc she wanted a "baby." His "Destiny Plan" book which is a proposal for gene manipulation? I think this put pieces of the puzzle together about his past. Gill wanted to make an ultimate coodinator, but the reluctance of Tal made it impossobile. So he prolly had the research done and etc, but the final piece was something he couldnt get a hold of. So maybe he presented that to Kira's real father, and blinded him with pride and used his wife. Maybe?

point being ZAFT is where his home his, he has no other friends/relatives in other sides, well now he has Athrun but he doesn't know him like Athrun and Kira know eachother so he won't be easily persuaded.
He knows Rey very well...and Luna and all those people.
Rey is taking advantage of their friendship, so to speak, and trying to keep Shinn from believing Athrun.

However, if Meyrin started talking to him I think that he might be able to turn around lol.

I realized i didnt make much sense, but yeah..I was trying to say, Rey has a big impact on Shinn so I don't think Shinn is THAT gullible and easily persuaded.

After the end of the previous war, ZAFT continued its MS development and held several competitions. The DOM Trooper is derived from the design concept of the ZAKU prototype ZGMF-X999. Like the ZAKU it's meant to be able to adapt to various combat situations by exchanging Wizard backpacks, and it can carry virtually all of the Wizards used by the ZAKU. This machine was originally supposed to use Mirage Colloid, but since the use of this technology was restricted by the Junius Treaty, the concept was abandoned.

The DOM is intended mainly for use under gravity, and large hovering units are mounted on its legs. Depending on the terrain, it can move at higher speeds than walking MS despite its bulky silhouette. But with its powerful thrusters and the special skill required for hovering movement, it proved unpopular within ZAFT, many of whose pilots had experienced combat in the GINN and GuAIZ during the previous war. It was thus removed from competition at a point when only a few prototypes had been created, while the development of simpler MS continued and the ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior was ultimately adopted for the New Millenium Series.

This MS entered combat in an unexpected fashion. As Gilbert Dullindal launched an invasion of Orb to suppress Logos, the DOM and the Strike Freedom were dropped to Earth from the Eternal in order to protect Orb from the attacking ZAFT MS, which would normally be their allies. These machines were secretly produced by the former Clyne Faction, in a factory in the shoal zone where the Eternal had been hiding since the previous war. It appears that the presentation materials from the earlier competition, up to and including the production lines, somehow fell into the hands of the Clyne Faction so that they could easily produce these machines.

The "T" at the end of the ZGMF-XX09T model number is said to represent the hopes of the developers for a Third Stage of MS following the Gundam series, but the truth of this cannot be confirmed. DOM stands for Dauntless Obliterator Magnificent, a name it was given during the original development stages which does not reflect the intentions of the Clyne Faction.

@S_P - lucky! ive only been outta the U.S once, and that was for Vietnam. but ah well, 'tis fun.

@JH - hah i'd be like "wth? o_O" too if i saw some asian guy walking around the neighborhood taking snapshots. hmm so you're active in sports, even in the summer, thats cool =o i only play like basketball with some friends every sunday. sometimes football with the guys, and ocassionally some badmitton and stuff, depends if anyones using the rackets. so yeaa...you can pretty much call me a tomboy i guess.

as for the inuyasha pairings, i gotta say i like the idea of kik x inu more then kag x inu. then again, i guess they make a good couple i dunno lol.

Tokyo, Nara, Kobe, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Vancouver, Quebec, the east coast, London, Birmingham, Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Vienna, Rome, Brussels, Geneve, Berlin and Bonn.

If you travel to europe, always locate the nearest restroom, there are not that many. Watch out for little kids, some of them are pick pockets. :laugh

Taipei has the tallest building in the world, taipei 101. The whole island of Taiwan can be traveled in a day. From taipei to Gaushawn then to Tainang.
In Hong Kong and china is a great place to get pirated anime, the air quality is poor, Shanghai is really wet and damp a mosquito's paradise. Bring repelent. :amuse

Japan is the place to visit in Asia, Anime, Games, Electronics, mount fuji, toudaiji temple, and Akashi kikyo bridge.

Vancouver and seattle rains alot, bring unbrellas. The lightning strikes downward between the US, canada border. :sweatdrop

Quebec has alot of french fort and everyone speck french, I also attended a Jazz festival there.

Quebec is cool but Montreal is way cooler :p. A lot more stuff to do in montreal than in Quebec.
