Hm... I kinda had a feeling that 41 would be a recap. Since it's named "Two Lacus'". It will probably be Athrun looking back on his relation with Lacus in SEED, and what happened with Meer in Destiny.

Episode 40 = Kick ass fight in ORB, and maybe the arrival of Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice at the end. 41 = Recap. 42 = Continuation where episode 40 ended, huge battle royale. :)

Although, I heard a rumour around that GSD will soon change timeslot - opening the possibility for more than 50 episodes. It's currently on the prime time Saturday night slot, and will have to leave that no matter what for the series which will replace it (another big name series no doubt - FMA was before GSD). So, why else would it move from such a profitable slot if it wasn't for more episodes? Something to be hopeful about anyway!

So is it from now to the end of the serie it's gona be Orb vs ZAFT? What about the EA. It's wierd bc not only does the OP dont have SF/IJ, but none that mentions the EA. So im assuming they're out of the pic now? If that is the case, i think it really sux bc:

1) EA had the blueprint of Justice/Freedom
2) Had the extended, and the highest one in Seed was lvl 4 (so i was hoping there would be above 4)
3) EA was the one that started the proto-type of gundam, so it should be realistic that they make new models
4) Again, their moonbase

I mean for instance; there was so many opportunity that Kira couldve killed the 3 extended, but they dragged it for the majority of the ending. I wasn't saying they were a technological development; I was saying that the basis for Gundam is technological development (id est, mobile suits). Also, bringing up Char is a good idea: you are correct that it did move the plot in that direction, but it took some time for his plans to get entirely in motion. They culminated in Char's Counterattack, and the ending of that movie really exemplifies why I dislike newtype stuff. Char's Counterattack was excellent, IMO, until the ending, which was just plain strange.

Actually ... on epi 38. Yunna talks about how right they were to join forces with the EA bc not only did they have the heaven base, they had the moonbase. Therefore, the moonbase prolly got restored or something

No. Simply because this would proove that Orb has relationships Logos, thus it really gives Dullindal an excuse or a strong reason to attack Orb, which he planned to do so at the beginning anyway since it is a very very powerful nation.

Secondly, do you think that Cagalli is able to meet Dullindal in person? Kira and Athrun will not allow that to happen first off. And even if Cagalli and the Dullindal do meet, there isn't going to be a solution either. Dullindal's goal is to get rid of Orb ASAP cared less if Dijbril is handed to him or not. He definitely won't let a 18 year old ridiculous and "stupid" politican ruin his plan.

In addition, Dijibril is a tool for Dullindal to frabicate public commotion and arouse the hatred the people have towards the Logos. Dijibril is simply a hate icon. If the public knows that he is in Orb, it will definitely create a ruckus and the sitatuation will become more problematic for Orb, Cagalli and the AA. So what Cagalli should do in order to protect Orb is to accept the fact that she screwed everything up at the beginning and that fighting ZAFT is inevitable. Look, the simple fact is that Dullindal has tried to have Lacus killed multiple times (the most recent episode being another example of an attempt on Lacus's life), and he made a fake Lacus for the sole purpose of manipulating people. Come on man. It is clear that he is evil.

The chess thing atm only implies that Gill sees Lacus as an enemy, which he should, as she has alot of influence and power, ad not to mention the Freedom attacking Zaft's forces. Athrun showd his intentions to defect to Gill before Gill and Rey had their chat, as Athrun had power agaist the chairman he could interfear in Gill's plans (what ever they are?). As for Djbril's comment they seem interesting, i dont remember him saying that though but it sounds like it could lead to some good plot development. What i'm saying is The line between the good and the bad had not been clearly drawn yet in GSD as all the cards have yet to reveal themselves, so we cannot justly judge people's actions yet as "Good" or "Evil" as assuming something and jumping to conclusions can make you look quite the fool when you are proven wrong. I'm planning on fence sitting until I know the almost the whole story.

After reading the first Chapter of Astray X I dont see what is actually so wrong with Candard Parrs, they talk about him as if he is defective as Raww, Candard is simply has less Ultimate than Kira's Ultimate coodinator, he isn't exactly going to fall over dead because he isn't as good as Kira.

Dullindal is messed up but quite different than Raw and Patrick Zala. Raw was messed up because of his personal suffer and Patrick Zala is just Raw's little puppet, manipulated succesfully. Dullindal is messed up, but I really don't know in what way though. At first I thought he is messed up because of Raw's manipulation back in ep 29, but after the revelation of The Destiny Plan I really don't know if it's Dullindal that manipulated Raw or Raw manipulated Dullindal or is it a plot planned by both of them. It's confusing, for me at least.

And about Shinn, you can't really say that he's a retard for wiping the naturals, after all he does hold a grudge towards Orb because of the loss of his family. I mean that is the reason why he enlisted for ZAFT right?

I rushed my post so I forgot to add an interrogation of Djibril by some expert interrogator. (C'mon, they gotta have one) And then hand Djibril over. The secret is to do it quickly. She is already at Orb so she should take control soon. She does have some military backing. The reason I say soon is because that would not give Dullindal a motive to attack Orb right away else face the scorn of Talia and frowns from the ZAFT counsel. And Dullindal, being charismatic as he is, would meet Cagalli. Of course Kira and Athrun are no where to argue with her. She would have tons of security on her part (a whole fleet). And I would not have the Clyne faction anywhere in sight. Instead (althought impossible right now), I would have Lacus behind the scenes only to come out at the end to face Dullindal. Since every nation of Earth has had a person from LOGOS influence them, Orb can come out to be one of those anti-LOGOS ZAFT supporters and avoid direct war with ZAFT for the moment. Dullindal wouldn't just point a finger to Orb and say it is part of LOGOS because that would be a mistake if Cagalli does what other anti-LOGOS supporters have done and arrested LOGOS members in her nation. The key is to avoid hostilities until the Clyne Faction and Orb's factories are ready to kick butt.

And you are contradicting yourself. You dislike her for the same reason as me althought you like her enough that you avoid her shortcomings. And I don't care if she is inexperienced. I dislike her because of her inexperience. I don't know which one is worst: Cagalli ruling Orb or Athrun ruling ZAFT. Man, they should get people like Lacus to rule. She would be perfect. I think Cagalli will come to terms with the war by next episode because it is titled "The Golden Will." Her will to defend her country and her acceptance of guns. I rushed my post so I forgot to add an interrogation of Djibril by some expert interrogator. (C'mon, they gotta have one) And then hand Djibril over. The secret is to do it quickly. She is already at Orb so she should take control soon. She does have some military backing. The reason I say soon is because that would not give Dullindal a motive to attack Orb right away else face the scorn of Talia and frowns from the ZAFT counsel.
Sorry, but my brain is kinda slow and I honestly feel really stupid lately but do you mind clarifying how an interrogation of Dijibril would help this situation or make Cagalli a better politician? And it really doesn't matter if Dullindal attacks later or not, he still will face that scornful and skpetical face of Talia's anyway.


And Dullindal, being charismatic as he is, would meet Cagalli. Of course Kira and Athrun are no where to argue with her. She would have tons of security on her part (a whole fleet). And I would not have the Clyne faction anywhere in sight. Instead (althought impossible right now), I would have Lacus behind the scenes only to come out at the end to face Dullindal. Since every nation of Earth has had a person from LOGOS influence them, Orb can come out to be one of those anti-LOGOS ZAFT supporters and avoid direct war with ZAFT for the moment.

I guess having Lacus around would be a great idea, after all she is one of the smartest female character around. However, sorry if this is a stupid question or something, but how is taking anti-LOGO ZAFT stance going to help Orb avoid direct war with ZAFT? Dullindal's plan is to unite earth and Plant so wouldn't he be more eager to get rid of Orb if they took this stance?


Dullindal wouldn't just point a finger to Orb and say it is part of LOGOS because that would be a mistake if Cagalli does what other anti-LOGOS supporters have done and arrested LOGOS members in her nation. The key is to avoid hostilities until the Clyne Faction and Orb's factories are ready to kick butt.
Either way, Dullindal will still find a way to attack Orb as soon as possible cared less if she handed Dijibril to Dullindal or not. Dullindal is going to force Orb give up its arms and join its alliance simply because 1. Orb is pretty damn powerful for a "Neutral" nation 2. The Alliance treaty that they signed with the EA.


And you are contradicting yourself. You dislike her for the same reason as me althought you like her enough that you avoid her shortcomings. And I don't care if she is inexperienced. Yea thanks for answering and telling me that I am contraditing. I Really appreciated it. But I can't help it. And you must be mistaken, misread, misinterpert or simply felt like adding something I never claim. I never said anything that implied I dislike her. More like I acknowledge her helpless and childish character and yet I am eager to see her pull herself together and start doing something useful just like how she was in SEED.

PHASE-41 has been confirmed to be a RECAP episode. It's title is "Refrain" and basically it will include how Athrun was rescused and how he has to live with the humiliation and the pain. Kira makes a decision to go into space to save Lacus, whilest he asks Athrun what the future of this war may be.
Shot down by Shinn, rescued and brought to ArchAngel, Athrun endured pain and humiliation on his bed. He retraced details that led to this.
On the other side, Kira, intending to save Lacus, headed for Space. After that, Kira questioned Lacus on where this war is directed and to where it is leading.

I wouldnt be so sure, even though Cagalli isnt a Co-ordinator like Kira, she's just as much of a natural at piloting like Kira is. Remember back in Seed when she first piloted the Skygraspers? she impressed Mu with her skills. when she first piloted Strike Rouge she did quite well and much better that Kira when he first piloted Strike.
What kept her back then though was her lack of experiance, and not to mention that she was so stubborn!:laugh

I still have hopes for athrun going seed and kicking Shinns butt....I think he will try to persuade Shinn into realizing to see the truth, but that won't be easy he will have to fight hard in order to do it. And the way I see it Infinite Justice is the worst match for Destiny. Infinite Justice will own Destiny with its short range weapons which make I-Justice pretty dangerous in close combat. This match reminds me of Samurai-X when Kenshin was fighting Aoshi. Cuz even though Kenshin was faster with his sword Aoshi could block his attack cuz of the short blades he had.

It will be interesting to see how Fukuda will portrait Shinn vs. Athrun part 2. And its confirmed Athrun facing Shinn not Kira, they would probably face in battle but it will end in a stalemate or somebody will be force to withdraw!

I agree david, I also want Athrun to be the one to deal with Shinn because I don't want Shinn to be the reason Kira ends his "no kills" policy, I guess I like him more now since I don't want him dead (=D). I am eager to find out how Shinn will be changed. Kira in SEED was changed by having talks with Lacus, and I wonder if there will be a nonviolent way through which Shinn will be changed as well, though I seriously doubt it (don't we all). I always wanted there to be a spirited conversation between Shinn & Athrun/Shinn & Kira because well Kira is better with words than Athrun because he even made Athrun pause before slashing his Saviour to bits.

I also agree with what someone previously said that Freedom will just be taking out mass amounts of mobile suits because so far the only ships they have are eternal and damaged AA. It's back to the way some of us love, good ol' outnumbered Kira.

On the other hand, Cagalli returned to Orb safely, and replaced Yuna and started to command. After the battle ended with Djibril's escape to space, what action will Cagalli now take...

44 Two Lacus's
Meer began broadcasting in an attempt to hinder Cagalli's speech. At this time, the real Lacus appeared in front of the camera. Lacus's words, "Please do not fall for the trap of words any more", shook the whole world. The same moment, Djibril tried to turn back the tide. He aimed the Satilite Reflector Cannon "Requiem" at PLANTs.

About 10 hours left to the RAW, where we finally will see Cagalli sortie in her new Akatsuki. I wonder how well she will handle it, since it seems to be a very advanced suits with lots of special functions and abilities to transform into different things.

Hopefully, she wont just be deadmeat when faced with the ZAFT forces, but actually be able to do something, not just stand and watch.

Hunter I see what your saying. I dont really read the spoilers so I do not know if the destiny plan is bad. By what I hear it sounds like a good idea. Unite the world together for the first time ever. And then everyone will become a Coordinator eventually thats jist of what it is I think... Does not sound to bad, at some point in the seed universe, most people will likely become coordinators (this is long after we stop watching the show though). But when Lacus, and her gang found the plans, they had a bad look on their faces. So I think this may mean that he plans to wipe out alot of people but I dunno. Dullindal does a very good job to make the viewer trust him, like a good 'ol' politician lol.

Actually we still do not know. All we have is the note found in Ep.39, so it is all just speculation except that "it seems proper for the current situation".

But that can also mean that Dullindal's goals will go against their ideals and objectives. I have never seen them dub their enemies "evil", they only disagree with them.

Right now, I think shinn can go either way, but the end result will never change... he can be the bad guy to the end and die, or he can deflect to Kira's gang... whether shinn deflects or not will only change small details of the ending... as we all know, we would usually see that the heroes win in the end... thats sterotypical but that is how the end goes everytime... if fukuda thinks he can score tons of cash by killing kira and his gang and let Gil win the war and control the universe, i think he will make GSD one of the worst gundam shows to date because people want good endings... especially since GSD might probably be the last CE Gundam...

As for shinn, i think shinn is totally confused on what he is fighting for... all he knows is that he wants to end the war ASAP... the only problem is that he is only presented one option by gil... and that is to eradicate everyone that is against their path to their so called "peace." now why in hell would i say he is confused? well there is the athrun factor... shinn really never knew athrun's true intentions or his goals... and as he and rey were pursuing athrun in the gouf, shinn hesitated and wanted to know why in hell athrun is "betraying zaft again." unfortuanately for atrhun, rey seems to have a stronger bond with shinn... well for obvious reasons...:amuse

Its kinda hard picturing Orb eventually winning against Zaft. Orb's army consists of M1 Astrays, Murasames and Akatsuki whilst Zafts army contains way more than that. Despite Eternal and Archangel and S-Freedom and I-Justice will be helping out, I cant really see how Orb would win if the S-Freedom will duking it out with Legend and I-Justice against Destiny. Unless S-Freedom quickly disables Legend so that S-Freedom can do its infamous "13 Beam rainbow attack" to disable all the mobile suits.

Well, I knew Akatsuki had the same anti-beam coating as Hyaku Shiki but I could never imagine that it would be so powerful it was able to reflect positron cannon shots. Wow!

We might have a suit that can ever rival the top ones right here. After this episode, I might change my mind about my current favourite gundam. I like Hyaku Shiki in Zeta and ZZ, and it looks like I'm going to be able to enjoy a new Hyaku Shiki, but in Gundam SEED Destiny.

So if Akatsuki recieves enough hits, the anti-beam coating wont last, thus making it vulnerable.

About beamswords on the other hand, I think Akatsuki will be affected the same way as any other mobile suit: It will sustain heavy damage. Unlike a beam which is more like a 'temporary' burst of energy shot out of a weapon, a beamsaber remains constant, almost as if it's a material blade, thus I think they will be able to cut it.

But since Cagalli seems to have shaped up alot now that she has Akatsuki, I don't think we will have to worry about any scratches from beamsabers. :P

Cagalli got to be at least in seed mode this time, even so she is no match for Shinn's Excalibur, and now that I think about it. Freedom lack physical weapowns. Like it has positrons, beams but nothing lilke the Goufs Swords or even excalibur.

Hm...

I'll wait with the preview untill I've seen the SaiyaMan RAW, because this one was terrible. Despite it's large size, it was framing all the time and this stupid commercial strip was appearing at the bottom and the side of the screen all the time.

Other than that, a great episode. Finally we got to see Cagalli serious. She rushed into battle with Shinn without a second thought at the end of the episode.

Excellent episode (Edit: okay, it wasn't that great but still). Only because WE FINALLY HAVE THE CAGALLI WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE BACK!!! Yess!!!

I love the theme song for Akatsuki/Cagalli, loved how she owned grunts while taking back ORB under her command. She has done a lot more in the episode than in those 39 eps we've seen her.

Loved Yuna and the fact he is a simpering little idiot who is reduced to a stuttering moron because he doesn't know how to solve a problem when the going gets stuff and ultimately the one who brought Cagalli back to ORB. :laugh Idiot.

Honestly, I want to see Cagalli hold on her own for awhile against Destiny just to see that face on Shinn for always bashing her earlier in SEED Destiny. I think she deserves so much, at the very least, she's learning from her own mistakes.

Loved it when she's so serious. Loved it when she's commanding those ORB officers. TOTALLY loved it when the ORB's military listened to Cagalli without a second thought. XDDD

I really think Cag can go seed vs Shinn. Cag only went seed bc of her lost commrades. Since Orb is being attacked, and during the battle between Cag and Shinn, some point in the fight, members from Orb will prolly try to help out, but gets in the way or maybe not (risk their lives to protect Cag). In addition, either way, theres a good chance of Cag going into Seed. Obviously Shinn will go seed, so for Cag's chance to stall until Kira comes, she HAS to go seed as well *crosses fingers

(Apologize for the late preview, had to eat dinner and do some stuff, and rewatch the episode since I didn't want to take screens from the bad-quality RAW)

Well then, preview time folks. This episode kind of pissed me off since there was some text along the sides all the time, making the screen small. Anyway.

I'll just go ahead and write then I guess. If you don't feel like spoiling anything, don't read further.

The episode starts out with our three new heroes; Shinn, Rey and Lunamaria getting medals for their bravery at Heaven's Base. After beeing presented with their respective medals for their respective deeds, Gilbert says he has something for Shinn and Rey. Two FAITH medals. Now Shinn and Rey are officially FAITH members so they can do almost anything on their own accord without even consulting Talia before.

The little ceremony for Shinn, Rey and Lunamaria ends and the people present are on their way to return to their normal duties, but as Gilbert approaches an elevator, some military officer approaches him and says they now finally know the whereabouts of Lord Djibril. Shinn, Lunamaria and Rey halts in a stair to eavesdrop a bit on whats said. The officer tells Gilbert that he currently resides in ORB. And he shows Gilbert some data-sheet where there is a picture of Unato, Juna and Lord Djibril together.

Then we're off back to the Archangel. The crew just found out about the fact that the Seirans have beek covering for Djibril, and helping him in his escape. And Milly also lets them know that the ZAFT forces are approaching Onogoro Island (where ORB is located). Cagalli gets frustrated to hear that the Seirans have been protecting Djibril. ZAFT then deploys their forces and initiates their attack on ORB, starting with the ORB Supreme Council building and the Seirans house (Ha! Serves thoes suckers right!).

Cagalli asks Milly what the ORB forces are doing, and Milly tells her that they have not deployed any forces to counter ZAFT's attack. Cagalli gets even more frustrated and asks Amagi if his Murasame squadron can launch and fight, Cagalli also asks to use the Skygrasper to go outside and fight herself, but Murrue tells her that it's reckless and stupid, but Cagalli dosen't care. As she is about to rush through the door at the bridge and head to the hangar, Kisaka together with Erica Simmons comes in and stops her.

Cagalli tells Kisaka that she would rather die than see the country suffer again. But Kisaka, together with Erica insists that she follow them to listen to . Cagalli follows, and the stand before a huge steel gate. Erica tells Cagalli to read what is written on the side of the door on some panel. As she finished reading the written sentence, the door opened, and Erica says: [I]"The day this door is once more opened, is the day ORB once more is engulfed in flames." - "And this is the last thing locked away by Uzumi-sama." (Didn't really get that last part, oh well...)

And there stood...

Then a tape starts playing trough some speakers. It's Uzumi. It says:

"If the day comes where you call for strenght, I will answer that call, and hand you this." -then he speaks of how there were alot of things he never told her and that...

"Furthermore, this is the only thing I will leave behind for you." - "Strenght is only strenght." -then some more stuff I didn't really understand. But...

"A sword made for protection, if this now is necessary, take it up!" -then even more stuff I didn't get. Cagalli starts crying and falls down on her knees. And the tapes ends with: "To you who now have opened this door, it may be an unreachable wish, but please, live happily, Cagalli!"

Kisaka then walks up to her and says:

"Cagalli, will you pilot Akatsuki?" -Cagalli looks at Kisaka and says: "Akatsuki...?" -then looks upon the golden mobile suit infront of her and says: "Yes!".

Then the best insert song, and the most fitting song ever starts to play in the background as she starts Akatsuki up. Then you hear Erica over the radio:

"ORB-01, Akatsuki, system online, you are clear for launch." -and then, what we have been waiting for...

God that was a great moment. Then Cagalli went out on her kick-ass killing spree.

The ORB Miltiary Control is in distress because Juna is unable to give proper orders, and an officer tells him: "Unless we do something we will be totally destroyed!" -then Juna starts bitching about how if they loose the country once more, it's their fault (the officers trying to save ORB, not his own fault) if ORB falls once more.

Then once of the CIC people at the military control place notices some Murasame units on the radar and tells them that they have the same signature code as the mobile suits from the Takemikazuchi. And that there is also an unknown mobile suit among them which together with the Murasame units are heading here. Then Cagalli starts talking over the radio: "I am Uzumi Nara Attha's child, Cagalli Yula Attha. Military Control HQ, can you hear me? It may be a sudden thing for me simply to come here and take over, but please let me talk to the officer in charge." -then Juna gets all fired up about it beeing Cagalli and throws himself over the radio and starts talking to her, going: "Oh so you came, my honey! Thank you my goddess!" (He really says "my honey"...) "I am the officer in charge right now." -then I don't really understand Cagalli's reaction. She seems kinda relieved over the radio and says: "Juna..." - "Can you confirm that it is me, Chief Representative of the United Emirates of ORB, Cagalli Yula Attha? - "Of course, of course, I can tell just fine! It is Cagalli!" -then Cagalli puts her serious side on again: "Then I will use that authority to order any soldier/officer to arrest Juna Roma for high treason!" -Juna just goes: "Eh...?" -then some officer says: "Then I will do as ordered!" -and give Juna what he deserved the most...

Then some people from the military control jumps on him to restrain him.

Then Cagalli goes off further on her killing spree, taking down any mobile suit in her way without hesitation, and trust me, her piloting is awsome. Then she takes command over all the ORB forces and everyone goes like: "Ahhh! Cagalli-sama!" -and starts fighting like never before.

Then we see some troubled officers on a ZAFT submarine getting informed that their suits are getting picked off one by one very fast.

Then the Minerva approaches, and you see Rey, Shinn and Lunamaria looking at a TV screen. Rey tells Luna and Shinn that there is no need for all three to go, so that he will go alone. But Shinn insists that he goes himself. So, he does just that. Talia gets informed that Shinn has launched in Destiny and that Rey (as a FAITH member of course) approved of Shinn's action.

Shinn starts shooting down mobile suits one after one, and Cagalli notices him, and charges straight for him without a second thought, and that concludes the episode.

Looking forward alot to seeing the continuation of this battle. Will be alot more tense when Kira with Strike Freedom, and Athrun in Infinite Justice arrives at the scene. Can't wait!

I think episode 41 is trying to take back all the hate towards Shinn and give reason to why Shinn was and has always been a complete bitch. I can see him going towards the good side towards the end. Well even if they were to focus on the newer characters, what more could they show?

We all know Rey is coldhearted and is loyal to Gil no matter what. Shinn had a nightmare relating to the horrors of war, FINALLY. They couldn't show anything with Luna without Shinn being somewhere in the picture...and it goes on.

Anyways recap episodes aren't always bad, I loved the recap ep in SEED, was called Moment (episode 26 i think). The whole thing when they played Meteor was just great, and I'm hoping that this one will be a better recap.

I can't wait for Cagalli to fight with Shinn because right now she is pretty angry and might turn out to be even worse than Shinn next episode. I also can't wait for Kira and Athrun to show up mainly cause I want to see the look on the ZAFT people's faces, especially Shinn and Dullindal upon seeing Freedom & Justice.

Also I was very surprised by Shinn as well. I thought he would be very happy to get the Nebula medal and become a member of FAITH, but he seemed quite puzzled and reserved. i think next ep will be more of athrun's flashbacks than kira's thoughts... anyway, we all know that kira disables MS since he found out in seed the philosophy of "Hatred brings more hatred" and that its same with killing... so why should kira blabber about his thoughts on that for an episode? as i see it, if kira will say something, i think it will be his thoughts on how the current path the war is taking... and maybe his ideas on how to stop it... but im pretty sure he still does not know how to stop the war... kira is still searching for the real enemy... same as athrun... somehow i think they will find whatever they are trying to find at the end of GSD...:amuse

After watching phase 40, all I can hope for is that Djibril succeeds in blasting this requiem cannon at PLANT and a split second later, Kira shows up and deflects it back at Djibril with a force field created by his fin funnels. That would be so kickass if Strike Freedom has those kind of funnels and Kira has those kind of newtype powers. I'd be so happy :)

Anyway, the latest ep was quite good in my opinion. Cagalli has finally started acting like her old self. I really would love to see her defeat Shinn, but that's never going to happen. I am not sure if Orb is going to survive this battle or not, but I think it's reasonable to believe that a something akin to what happened in SEED will take place. I suspect that Djibril will escape on the mass driver as ZAFT nears victory, and then Cagalli will sort out the political end of things (setting up a new regime, etc).

If jibril manage to escape to moon base, then the series will probably move back to space fairly quickly. :oh
Dullindel will be forced to go after moon base in order to protect plant. Therefore, If Orb and its alliance can prolong the stalemate for three episode, then orb probably won't be conquered like the first series. :cool

Ep 42 - "Freedom and Justice" - Orb is being pushed back by ZAFT's attack. Cagalli barely manages to hold against Destiny. Right when she was about to be shot down, Strike Freedom drops from the heaven with Infinite Justice...

Ep 43 - "Voice of Counter" - Athrun, piloting the Infinite Justice, comes to aid Kira. Athrun asks Shinn, "What do you really desire?" In the middle of the battle, Djibril plots an escape with group of traitors.

Ep 44 - "Two Lacus" - In response to Cagalli's speech, PLANT counters with Meer's speech. However, Lacus finally appears saying she is the real one. While the world is in chaos, both Dullindal and Djibril make their next move.


The Next Gundam series?
Posted at Useless Plamoya-san's Diary, the next Gundam series following DESTINY is planned for Oct 2006. However, the next series will not be SEED series. The blog states the staff will be made up so it will completely go away from SEED. The same post mentions Zeta and SEED will be the bulk of future model kit releases until this new series airs.

While information posted at Useless Plamoya-san's Diary have been reliable in the past, take this news with some grain of salt.

I mean, Victory (and the UC gundams after ZZ) ruined everything for me, because cartoon characters live forever unless they die in the anime. But knowing that Victory takes place in UC 140, roughly 70 years or more after Zeta (Which means Char and Amuro is most likely dead...). :sad

Oh that's ok because Char and Amuro died UC 0093 anyway

I want another CE series as well. One possibly set around the same time, but a side story (not any Astrays). Or something set far into the future. I would be happy if this news was indeed true, because that means we get to see more SEED/Destiny model kits (still praying for MG Strike Freedom and Destiny).

I have some complains...

When Kira was taking off with Strike Freedom there was a cool song, a cool reason (save lacus) and everything was just nice.
When Cagalli was starting Akatsuki, man that was amazing..., and she was doing that to protect ORB. ORB-01, System Online. Hashin Douzo... amazing a nice song and everything...

But Shinn like always get the worst part of the stick. He launched Destiny to destroy two friends of his. Sad song and everything... I rewatched it two times and got sad, Kira and Cagalli i watched them 40 times at least...

I still prefer Shinn, but please, Cool moments for him. He deserves it.

Two other spoilers (but very similar to those) said Rey was also fighting Kira before Athrun comes. It's not just Shinn that Kira was fighting.

But you know mindless, Char and Amuro are dead regardless if it takes place roughly 70 years after Zeta. Char's Counterattack pretty much sums up the fact they both were losers, they both died in the end. I think they should make something that relates with Amuro have a family carrying out his leacy instead, as a bad butt. Btw, did any play the new acade Gundam game called,
Gundam Seeds vs zaft( I think that is what is called). Oh yeah did anyone see the PS2 preview for the Gundam Seed Destiny game. I wonder when is that going to come out for the USA. I hope it comes out for the PS2. Anyone know more news to it?

Btw, Shinn and Rey are going to get owned by Kira and Arthrun. Since Kira and Arthrun got owned last time by Shinn, its time for pay back. I can wait until Shinn makes his ugly faces, saying I am loser after all because I failed to think for myself:laugh . I know I will get flame by Shinn's fans, but life goes on. I think the reason everyone hates Shinn right now, especially Kira's fans is because he is unable to think for himself. Maybe when he starts thinking for himself, I start to like Shinn a bit more, he is getting close, he did have a nightmare about the things he done wrong. But I must confess, Shinn's Gundam Destiny is pretty sick. It reminds me of Domon's gundam, Shining Gundam. Especially, when Shinn did that palm pistol thing on Destory Gundam's head, I don't know what it is called. My guess is that their 'slow' release is because they want to fix that stupid border around the screen which totally messed up the RAW's. And ensure it has good quality after fixing that stuff.

Otherwise, I really like Hiro subs. It's straight foward and simply without fancy subtitles. In addition, does anyone have any idea with the new Gundam Series? It's interesting because I never thought they would give us another series, which reminded me of this article about Hideaki opinion about Gundam. He said that there is always going to be an era of Gundam and an era of another new kind of anime. And they cycle. For instance, after the UE which really claimed the 80s, there was the EVA era which claimed the 90s. And for now, we got the SEED hooking up all of us.

Anyway, that was just rubbish... I thought you guys would want to know...

Y'know I gotta say it was quite a depressing sight seeing Rey, Shinn and Luna together in ep 40. I mean they like have no one but each other now, everyone seems to have in some form distanced themselves from the the trio pilots, probably due to the incident with Athrun and Meyrin, and as for Luna, I guess its becasue of how quickly she accepted Athrun and Meyrin beng traitors. To think that things are going to get even worse for them....:(

BTW didnt anyone found it a bit odd that Rey said it would be better if he went out to fight first rather than Shinn to fight agaisnt Orb? He looked really worried for Shinn:blink
