Any visitors will be very confused when they first visit this thread. So I'll explain everything.
1) Kishimoto owns a plant he affectionately named Mr. Ukki. The plant soon died.
2) He then put the plant on Kakashi's bedside stand in the cover of chapter 16.
3) Orochimaru left for some reason.
4) Zetsu is half-man, half-plant.
5) Zetsu's man half is very pale, with yellow eyes.
6) Mr. Ukki is the true 3rd MS user and leader of Akatsuk(K)i. a super-hybrid of Obito, Yondaime, Rin, Hatake Sakumo, and Sarutobi's son.
7) Conclusion- Zetsu is the Akatsuk(K)i lovechild of Mr. Ukki and Orochimaru.
8) and orochimaru left since he couldnt keep up the child payments. cmon, running a village takes $$$
