I love that he ended up on the plantation, very much an 'I can have my cake and eat it too, and your piece isn't safe either.' Moment when you take into account Guilford and Darlton's comments on how he could either be demoted or work on an orange plantation. He showed them, he is Jeremiah, he'll do what he wants.

It somehow reminded me of TTGL when Simon jumped out of all of his mechas together to destroy the anti spiralI got way more Genome vs Simon out of that fight, I was waiting for multicolored flaming hair.
