Hm, maybe I should add some cool reasons why they all have become part of Gothatsuki. Kisame simply had to leave his country because being the Glam-rocker in a group of hardcore-medieval musicians and cosplayers forced him to leave the Seven Mist Swordsmen. In the meanwhile he met Uchiha Itachi, a spoiled brat whose parents always had problems with him being a goth. Those never-understanding mainstream-f*ckers! Itachi simply left home. after he killed everyone except his little emo-brother Sasuke. :laugh

Were you serious about Itachi or was that some kind of sarcastic joke? Seriously, I think on first sight Itachi may seem like that but he has many qualities that qualify him as a "Goth" in my very own understanding and definition. He is indeed antisocial and doesn't like authority which is supposed to keep him limited, especially in his strengh-groth and thist for power (something all the Akatsukians seem to have in common - more or less.). Furthermore he has a twisted personality and a very own, unique view of the world and reality, something we still can't fully understand but will come to light when Sasuke finally grows strong enough to keep up with him (which I'm sure will happen). Then, he most likely will reveal why he truly killed everyone in the clan and only let Sasuke let alive. Him obtaining Mangekyou-Sharingan can't be the sole reason but even if it is the only reason, there is more to it that has to do with the 3rd MS-user.

Okay, enough of the ranting, this clearly would belong in the theories-section. ^^; But Itachi so far seems to be the person which qualifies most for the definition of being "goth". Sasori as well but we don't know enough of him and his past to have a clear picture of his personality. Same goes for Deidara and Zetsu.
Hm. I bet Big-Dude has a personality like Chad/Sado from Bleach. :laugh

Yes, of course Rammstein! Their albums Sensucht and Mutter are the best of what I have heard of them. Got those two and Reis reise, but that one I don't think is as good as the other two.

I think they also would listen to Nightwish, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Dead Zombie (a friend of mine who does synth/techno) and the music to LOTR by Howard Shore. It's wonderfull, depressed, black and fateful.

Bands they might listen to now and then: Vintersorg, Arch Angels, Arch Enemy, The Crown, Opeth, Katatonia, Therion, Ayeron, Lorenna McKennit, Hawkwind, Star One, Halloween, Mötorhead (or is it 'Motörhead'?), Judas Priest, Sonat Artica, Dark Moor, Rhapsody, Gamma Ray, Kraftwerk, Deep Purple, Hammerfall, Offspring and maybe Ebba Grön, Flogging Molly, The Pogues and Bad Religion. However those last four are punk.

I like Toshiro Masuda so I think they listen at his music too from time to time. If you take time to listen some are black, depressed and heavy.

Ah, I haven't been in here for a while, sorry, sorry. I was away for about 10 days or so, I got a friend from Austria visiting me over here and we went to the M'Era Luna-Goth-festival, so I couldn't get to the internet. Sorry for not informing anyone. As for the music lists you seemed to talk about lately, I set up some playlists for the Akatsuki-members... errrm... I mean Gothatsuki-members.

The lists aren't completed yet (I doubt they ever will since you always can add stuff) but I did them with RougaNadare's cooperation. Unfortunately he left NF while I was away which I think is pretty sad. I post the music-list later on and edit the member-list so that Rouga still can be a member of the club though he has left NF forever.

Sounds like interesting idea, and some nice choice of bands.. Too bad most of them arent goth o_O Though are a good number of those who have influenced or been influenced by goth, as alot of metal has been these days. Some true goth bands for example, are Joy Division, Siouxsie Sioux and the Banshees, Bauhaus, Christian Death, and even some of the Cure's albums, though not all. And this is no offense to anyone, just pointing something out.
