Great art, including the character designs, and the general feel of episode. The OP visuals didn't disappoint, but not really keen on the ED. I was curious as to how they would portray the relationship between Yoriko and Kanako, which was done well, especially their psychotic behaviour.

Loved how the horror aspect was handled, creeped out by the intense opening scene, doll and the mother ("mouryou"). :sweatdrop

Hope the next episode follows on too, I'm not sure if Yoriko was responsible or Kanako jumped, since the pimple signified one of the five death omens(?).

*Design for Reijiro Enokizu (blonde haired lead) really reminds me of Tsubasa's Fai...

Expected it to be above average heeby-jeeby show, but I felt somewhat unsettled watching it; not just some generic horror, certainly.

There was this majorly creepy vibe running through it, from the girl's growing dangerous obsession with each other, the surreal war sequence, and the little things, like the dolls hosting 'souls', and the head in a box. The animation is absolutely gorgeous, and considering Madhouse are doing several other shows this season, the animation remains a pleasure a watch. My favorite aspect of the first episode was the girl's relationship. It went beyond mere friendship~ definitley something else at work there.

I'm loving this, one of the shows that I think could be the best this season if they do it correct. Everything so far looks brilliant, animation quality is very good and the characters don't look odd (like CG, since it's Clamp that did the chara designs for both.)

Higly impressed after the 2 episodes. First episode seemed at first like it could be a yuri/drama, but at the end of it events turned and I wanted more. Aswell I was very impressed by the music, it helped to make the atmosphere of the episode even better.

And there's the question what happened to the girl, attempted murder, suicide, accident ? After first episode it looked mostly it was a suicide, but that's not for sure. Gonna be very interesting to follow and see what happens in the next episodes and I can't wait.

I know that we're only 3 episodes in, but I getting serious masterpiece vibes from this one. There are lots of questions at this point and I can't wait to have the remaining main characters, Chuzenji and Enokizu, introduced and see how they will fit into the story. :nod

Episode 4 was the most unsettling so far, particularly the first scene, and got me more confused but was still brilliant. :doh

Well there's the murderer, who was on the train, but wth is Sekiguchi doing?!?! Maybe lost it while delving too deep, or simply hallucinating!?!?

I actually noticed Amemiya didn't go into the room last episode, so he's the one that's kidnapped Kanako? What is his exact relationship with her, except as a guardian? So far every time someone was going to disclose it they've been interrupted. Sukaki's murder is linked, but not sure how...

Takaaki Seki so far as Kiba has been a great lead, and Hidenobu Kiuchi's performance of Sekiguchi is so captivating.

Good, so don't delay! A big plus is that text is translated too. Also Formula and Nightshade are using yesy for translations which are only up to episode 2 or something.

I was going to wait for a 1280x720 but I started watching it, just to check, and couldn't stop :heheeAnother captivating opening sequence, though I'm still not sure what to make of these 'dreams' that Sekiguchi gets (assuming he's not actually a psychopath :S).

The introduction of Enokizu and Chuzenji didn't disappoint, and I hope we see more of them. After being so cryptic about Kanako's background I wasn't expecting it to be revealed so fully this episode.

The thing is, that this anime is so dialogue rich, it must be a nightmare to fansub compared to the normal titles. Plus, it was overlooked pretty quickly.
