How To Upload A Sig/Picture.

This tutorial is on how to upload Pictures/Sig to the forums.

Reminder: Imageshack Supports these Image Formats:

JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIF, TIFF, and SWF.

Also the maximum image size you can upload is: 1024 Kb.

Which should be more then enough to be uploading to forums.

1. Type in www.imageshack.us in your address bar at the top of your browser and hit Enter.

2. Click the "browse" button to search for a Picture/Sig that you want to display on the forums.

3. Once you have found the image you want click on it once so it is highlighted, then click open. Then the image you have selected will be ready for uploading.

4. Next click the "Host It" button

5. Then you will be brought to this screen will all these boxes and ect. Ignore the three boxes at the top.

6. Now you will be selecting the encoded image to be displayed properly on these forums. there are two choices now, if you want the image to show up as a regular live picture, or if you want the picture to show up in a link that people can click on the show the image.



The first option in the boxes is for the live picture:

7. Once you have your option selected Copy and Paste where you want the live picture and or link to be posted.

For uploading, there is no restrictions on how big it is or how many you may put on there. Register and upload, it will automatically give you your image in the img tags so all you have too do is post it.

There are alot of places to upload sigs and get the url..
I usually use www.photobucket.com or www.tinypic.com

lol but im a noob at sigs... so yea, i just started!! ^^ :P

I made my sig before the 2000-character limit was in place, so now whenever I try to edit it, it's already over the limit. I tried deleting extra font, size, etc. tags, but it just messes the sig up beyond recognition. Even now, after being on NF for over a year, I still have lots of trouble getting my sig just right.

If I were to send someone the Word document where I made my sig look exactly how I want it to, could someone help me make it into an image that I can just upload, with hyperlinks and all? If it's not too much trouble, I would greatly appreciate it. I know it's a big undertaking, but I'm really at the end of my rope. Is there any way to "group" text and turn it into an image?
