Haven't seen the first episode but I've seen the raw manga and it's pretty good. It takes a chapter or two to get going but once the characters have been introduced/developed it gets good. Your gonna love a certain "robot" in this series, best robot ever made! :laugh

Like the first chapter of the manga the first episode of the anime was alright, nothing bad to say but makes you wish I'll get better. If they follow the manga I'll defiantly will. :)

Though one thing I didn't like is how they over did Torako's on being "special/unique", yeah she's supposed to stand out but felt they kinda overkilled it compared to the manga.

Oh and the animation was pretty good hope it stays that way.

First off, I just have to say that the simple fact of Fujiwara Keiji playing Kyouichirou Amagasa is enough to make me keep up with this show. I loved the sequence with his character getting punched out by Torako, followed by roll call, and his speech about how he wants to physically harm them but can't because he'd get in trouble with school board due to standards of sexual harassment XD

As for the rest of the first episode, it was decent. I liked the bright colors that were used, and some of the frame angles were lovely to look at. The story itself seems a bit bland, considering the fact that they spent almost an entire episode trying to walk in a straight line to find their classroom. However, it's also one of the first times that I've seen such an active thematic technique used in a slice of life series with only the metaphor for it being given usually (i.e. Takemoto and his bike in Honey and Clover). Also, Torako kept reminding me of Kirino from Bamboo Blade for some reason (which is a good thing), probably due to her energy and design.

It's no Lucky Star or Minami-ke, these shows made me laugh so much at times and I feel they have some similarities to this show. There's some funny moments, I still feel it can improve so much.

I agree. I can see all of the parts of the episode which are supposed to be funny, but they aren't having the effect that they should. The only part that I was deeply amused by was the interaction with Kyouichirou-sensei once again, particularly in the final exchange. Although, the bit where the baseball team kind of gives up the field was slightly amusing, just in how sudden and resigned it almost was.

I do think that this episode had better situations than the last, even whilst having less original concepts and framing. All in all, it appears to be shaping up to be an average series.

I'm the type of spaz who gets lost really easily as well, so I know how they all feel. xD And yay for overthinking things as well. I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes, but this episode was just terrible.

In a less then impressive fashion the entire cast was introduced, and they ended up being nothing beyond the normal cliche characters you find in every high school based anime.

The entire scene with the incredibly unrealistic "bi" girl, who apparently got fed up with the lack of screen time on bleach, was painful to watch.

I'm not the type to drop an anime over one bad episode so hopefully it gets better.

it was a great episode again, but somewhat inferior to the first two IMO, probably because there was less interaction between the main 4 girls.

Decided to watch the second episode as something to relax to. I like the group names they came up with. The different magic type study groups were fun and nice baseball to the ass. :P As adorable and fantastically spazzy as this is, I don't think it is my type of series, so I'll be ducking out on it.

at first i was a little anxious about more characters being introduced at it may have taken away attention from the central 4 girls, but i like the way everyone is being handled, they work to add and accentuate to the characters of the 4 main girls yet they are very uniue in their own right, if maybe a little cliche'd, but i dont really mind at the moment.

and it is good that the main 4 girls still get their own time, they work so well IMO.

Loved this episode and they manage to pull it off with Yanagi, Kitsune, Shishimaru and Koma and that's why I love this series.

Their secondary characters bring as much to the plate as the main characters.
And Kitsune by far was the most entertaining character this episode, but I totally didn't see him being Toarko's brother :S

As for Hyakko's modified opening I like the fact that they tried to incorporate all of the characters but it still felt kind of weird when done with the same song.

LOL...Minato shows knows how to be friendly when someone does her the simplest of favors. She's pretty cute when she's smiling and happy in general.
I also thought it was cute how Suzu and Minato were jealous over when another when it came to Torako xDD

Ah. Well this ending was a letdown. Though all in all the series was excellent. It was also humorous and kept me entertained the entire way through. All but the last episode anyways. 9/10. I want a season two now.

Pretty much ended up feeling the same way. It was nice but I'd probably would have liked seeing more Tatsuki or Kyochiro instead of Touma.

While I like Torako and Touma, it certainly lacked Suzu. I was hoping for a bit more humor but it was a bit dry. The great message I got from this OVA is that they're going to get fat if they keep eating cake like that.
