Romantic Relationships that you actually Care About?

Very few couplings in Manga actually make me care about the relationship itself and the two people involved. Curious about which ones you actually have some sort of emotional investment into.

For me it comes down to these few.

Beck: Koyuki and Maho
Bitter Virgin: Daisuke and Hinako
Mysterious Girlfriend X: Tsubaki and Urabe
Air Gear: Ikki and Ringo(Oddly enough.....)

I guess "Care about" could also include those that you want to crash and die. Add those as well if you want.

Berserk: Serpico/Farnese (incest, shmincest, and that's something I thought I'd /never/ write)

Black Lagoon: Rock/Revy (I wouldn't call it romantic, per se, but man, you could cut the sexual tension between them with a knife--indirect cigarette kisses and all--and they have a very interesting, complicated relationship)

Mugen no Juunin (Blade of the Immortal): Anotsu/Rin (I know it's sick, but there it is, and fandom means never having to say you're sorry)

Bleach: Renji/Rukia, Ulquiorra/Orihime (also very wrong, but Ichigo/Orihime is dull as dirt)

D. Grayman: Rabi/Linali (Hoshino seems to be playing up this pairing a lot in recent chapters, which is weird because I think Allen/Rinali is supposed to be the main pairing)

Fullmetal Alchemist: Ed/Winry (manga only, because the anime really did not do the pairing justice)

Air Gear: It's hard to ship anything het since pretty much all the main male characters are so, /so/ gay for Ikki, but Agito/Yamanaka and Kazu/Emily are cute (sue me)

Eyeshield 21: Hiruma/Mamori (weirda** choice, but eh, the dynamic really works for me)

Shin/Yankumi from Gokusen is probably my favourite pairing, though. With some of the above, the pairing is really the only thing I'm invested in in the series, but Gokusen is worth reading even if you couldn't care less about the main pairing.

I'd add the whole Sanguiss and Byron thing too. Her backstory was a sucker punch, but their relationship was really interesting.

However no other series makes me feel like a fag for putting so much emphasis on romance in manga than Berserk.
