No we don't. We only seen the moment of the asassination. We don't know who pulled the trigger, nor who was the one who ordered the hit. All we know is that Marianne ordered the guards away that day. So it's logical to assume she was doing it for a reason.

And Nunally's paralyzing has nothing to do with her blindness. Nunally's blindness is merely Hysterical Blindness (http://cancerweb.ncl.ac.uk/cgi-bin/omd?hysterical+blindness). Meaning she was so traumatised by her mother being killed while she was in her arms, she forced blindness upon herself.
