Day wasn't bad. The server went down again after lunch too. :lmao It was nice to kinda sit around for a little while, then it got dead boring. Didn't help that work was still coming too, because the client's servers were still working. :D: oh well. btw, have I mentioned that the IT guy at work sorta just got plopped into the position? He was an art major, something he enjoys pointing out when things go wrong.

I've been a reader, so reading long fics never bothered me. It was finding fics that were worth reading that was problem. D: Writing really short stories vs novels are 2 distinct skills. There's a number of authors, published, who can't make the transition from one to the other. As long as it well written, I never really cared about it's length. I have read short stories that were later re-written as novels and generally preferred the short stories.

And, I'm pretty sure that it will. I had saved somewhere around 5-6k over the past year or so specifically for the purpose of buying new furniture. But, I just can't remember the last time I put down so much money in such a short period of time.

Excluding that one time when I went over to visit some friends that I'd made in France during a previous trip to visit family, got sidetracked, and ended up in Barcelona, Spain for a week.

I've always wanted to write, TV. I always have the ideas, but I never manage to get myself to put them on paper. D: I almost never read fics, but I've come within inches of starting to write one on many occasions. As well as novels and comics and any other expression of my imagination.

Hopefully some day I can break past the initial "I'm gonna" stages.

for the robe just colour on a layer over the lineart, well that's what I normally do when I'm lazy and can't be bothered to clean it all up (which is everytime :sag). Just block it in a darkish grey/blue and then splash some highlights in some spots and near blacks for your shadows. Oh and remember the bottom part to them is usually in a sort of an in out in out pattern.

Okay, this colouring was a real quick one, I hardly got to do as much shading as I wanted, or more accurately, what I did doesn't stand out. But I did it cause Infichi's black and white avatar on MSN bugged me.

tv, use higher quality scans or clean them up first, colouring over tone isn't bad but colouring over dirty scans is since it just looks a little messy.

b) less grubby artefacts making things look messy
c) less effort to clean it up to a presentable level

Oh there are such companies, they sue random people for "frightening" purpose. But that's hardly a risk in the adobe case.

You get the risk of having a virus out of the way by downloading the trial from adobe.

The only risk is the keygen. There are many ways to start it safely. VMWare and Linux are examples (which you probably can't use easily)

I'm feeling really meh about the Bleach manga at the moment.Sure Coolhorn was funny but we are getting some fights which are such a waste of time unless a bad guy does win in these fights (not gonna happen) and a pillar is taken down to create some threat. The whole scenario of everyone facing each other in the sky with little worry between any of them doesn't create an exciting atmosphere.

I use GIMP as well, for this computer, though I have Photoshop on another. It serves its purposes well enough :amuse If you need any help with it, TMS, let me know. Or, let any number of people in this thread know who all have similar experiences.

As for Namco Bandai and their abuse of downloadable content, it's up to the consumer to discourage them from continuing such tactics. At least nobody has to purchase it, but it doesn't really cost them anything to provide the option, beyond whatever Microsoft's listing fees are, if any, for such small pieces of data. I guess, it can't be helped.

Also, Byastars, Killzone 2's multiplayer sounds pretty good. At least, concerning the flexibility of classes with the Badge system. I'm looking forward to finding out more, but the squad-based large-scale conflict in Resistance 2 still sounds more appetizing for the time being.

About Bleach being a disappointment... I think it's okay right now. It's just not really exciting or thought provoking. So, it's disappointing in that I want it to have those qualities, but I have to wait for it to. Ideally after or between fights, whenever that may be.

I love bleach, and I'd go as far to say Kubo has brought some of the greatest characters I've ever read. Sure, there are series with characters that match, but Kubo's art and design I adore.

His plot is not legendary, but I never saw Bleach as plot heavy, like the HM arc, I thought it was amazing (Noitora,Noitora,Noitora,Noitora).

In any case. Hidan has the voice of a transexual, and Kakuzu is badass to the extreme.
