You know. Most people have no clue what to respond in this thread other then "I'm sorry."

So, I'm sorry for you.

She was only seven, and I apologize for the awkwardness, but I just need to vent off some steam, yes?

Ofcourse, most of us totally understand and it's a good thing to vent yourself.

My family just recently put down my 8 yr old Sheltea. She was supposed to be put down because of a tumor, but she seemed to be improving. The weekend I came down I woke up one morning and she was laying cold and dead on the floor :(

Sorry to hear about ur loss man, I know how painful it can be

I lost my dog once and I cried a lot...I frickin' screamed. But he came back (thank god). I can't even imagine him or my other dog dying (I have two dogs). A week ago I saw a car running over a puppy. Man..I saw him die and that sucks really bad. If I could've killed the driver, I wouldnt've hesitated.

I haven't had a dog, but three cats... One of them got hit by a car and I was really mad about it... The second had to be put to sleep because she did a number two in the kitchen sink... The third is still alive, 17 years, but blind and don't eat so much. I will be in grief when we put him to sleep. Because we have been together since I was two.
So I know how feel.

My condolences. T.T

I had a dog that died when I was younger... I came home from school one day and called for her... then I was told I wouldn't see her again =\

So yeah, I know how you feel. It'll be alright.

Your cat was killed because it pooped in the sink? Why not put it up for adoption? That's a tad..uh. Cruel.

I'm sorry. It feels terrible to lose a pet, and I cried for days when my puppy was run over...so...hope things get better :hug . At least you know she had a happy life with you and is now in a better place without suffering, and an endless supply of food, fun and love.

I understand how you feel...One of my dogs had to be euthanized too because he has the potential to be "dangerous". I know they are animals but people dont know how human these dogs actually really act, they have souls and emotions too..You feed them, play with them and take care of them so long that it bonds with you like a little brother or sister...No joke its the saddest thing to lose a long time pet, its like losing a family member.

Wow that's sad man. Must be tough. There are people out there who have never experienced what it is like to have a pet. And they don't know what they are missing out on.

I have a black labrador, Banjo, at the moment. (he is sleeping with his head on my foot as I type this actually) and I don't know how I would cope if I lost him.

Just be glad that you saw this coming. Your dog did not die a death by road kill or anything like that. She was put to sleep, so it was peaceful and painless.

Do you plan on getting another dog in the near future perhaps to make you feel better???

EDIT: Now that you mention it, this thread was resurrected! So I feel better now just knowing that by the time you read this you would have already gotten over the rough times.
