I am from CA. A lot of good raves get thrown over here, especially Indio. It is in the middle of the desert, so it costs virtually nothing to rent space for events :laugh

Nocturnal Wonderland is the best rave I ever went to. Oaky was spinning and I just about died from joy :smile-big

Cool!, i'm from the end of the world! it's called Northcape..big tourist attraction (lots of asian people up here :P ) but NO raves! the biggest rave i've seen up here was a small party with 10 peoples so drunk they couldnt walk... :oh

You know where I really want to go? The Love Parade. They always have the tightest music, the best DJs spinning, and lots and lots of people/hot chicks to gawk at/crazy club kids on stilts and shit.

The definition of trance seems to morph every couple of years.

For me it's still Shpongle and Talamasca.

But recently I've been told that's more jungle or goa trance.

Either which way, if you can sleep AND dance to it- it's trance.

Trance is one of the greatest in the dance scene i think !
It has got all kinds of styles within the scene itself.
Lets compare some dj's
Talla2XLC - Kai Tracid ; Both are into the techno-ish trance styles.
But the difference is that Talla2XLC takes it to a whole other level with more uplifting sets. While on the other hand Kai Tracid really knows how to build up the energy(the Acid tunes) and make you go crazy on his harder style of trance.
I like them both. They both got their own label.

I actually don't have a preference for trance artists, although I prefer trance tracks with female vocals.

I revived this thread because my cousin lent me his trance collection and my liking for trance has also been revived.

But UK-Hardcore is only TOP TOP TOP! Its the best harddance music ever, nice melos, piano riffs, vocals and bouny action!
Artist like Joey Riot, DJ Kurt, Scott Brown, Brisk, Weaver, The Acolyte,... are kicking the shit out of yor ass! Pure Quality! Love it =D
