What if in Kishi's end of the manga, look into the future...we find out that Naruto never became Hokage or advanced and ended up a single, 30 year old, hyperactive, immature Genin, with a few more powerful moves? How would this effect your liking of the character, what would be your thoughts then? Lol

I mean we can all agree that these days Kishi has made Naruto into a blithering idiot obsessed Sasuke, unable to see that he is beyond saving. A thirty year old looser ending would be too good. I think he's heading towards his death.

I would be utterly horrified if Naruto turned out to be no greater than he is now. To not advance would be like spitting on the idea of someone being able to succeed after being treated like crap but having the determination to work hard and protect people despite it all. I would even be fine if Naruto was not Hokage, actually, but saying that he stays the same rank without moving forward bothers me immensely. I can see him as a roamer, like Jiraiya, helping out people as he goes. And I do expect him to stil be happy-go-lucky.

I'm pretty sure the series is going to end with a huge timeskip with Konohamaru looking up at the carved rocks and seeing Naruto's face, despite him NOT being a Hokage but still saving the village, but they figured they'd give him the title because he did something really brave or something, and having Konohamaru saying something along the lines of how proud Naruto must be now, looking down at me.

A horrible way to end it no? It's cheesy. It's cliche. It's, actually damn perfect lol.
