Kabuto Goes Nuts

At the start of the first 1-on-1 Chunin Exam fights, Kabuto resigned because he didn't want to reveal his jonin-level ability. Let's say that when all the kids are standing in their lines, Kabuto decides to slaughter everyone. This includes his Sound comrades, and the instructors won't interfere.

No one knows Kabuto will do this, and he can pick which target he goes after first. Assume he has all jutsu and equipment we saw him use against Tsunade. He can't summon snakes. Orochimaru is not possessing him.

All Genin he wishes to kill are in-character. This means:

-Hinata, Sakura, et al will tremble and scream without fighting much
-Naruto has Orochimaru's Five-Pronged Seal on him
-Sasuke is suffering from the Curse Seal
-Lee can use the first Gate but will not remove his weights
-If blood is shed, Gaara is likely to just go nuts (although he can't use Minishukaku)

Assume Kabuto has full knowledge of all participants thanks to his extensive collection of 'skill cards', and no Genin knows his true abilities. Can he kill everyone, or will he be overwhelmed?

Kabuto will most likely kill all the genin. The only person there who can give him any trouble at all is Gaara, and I think he can get around his Suna no Tate.

Shikamaru can also break through Temple of Nirvana, and Kabuto's teammates seemed to be fairly old and experienced- could they also release themselves? Would Gaara's shield work while he slept? Can Gaara fall asleep that easily?

Kabuto easily. There's a huge skill gap between Jounin and genin. Lee's five gated speed might be the same as Kabuto's base, maybe a little over. If he picks his targets with care it'd go like a piece of cake.

I honestly think Kabuto could take all these genin. The gap is too large.

Kabuto'd almost certainly go for Gaara first, and he'd kill him in one or two quick hits that the suna no tate could not deflect quickly enough. After that point everyone would be confused and I don't think they'd recognise immediately that he was going to kill the rest of them. Shunshin to a distance and then nehan shōja (lit. Temple of Nirvana) would put to sleep a decent number, and I think with his wits and skill he could get the jutsu off in the confusion.

Those remaining wouldn't really stand a chance, as he'd disappear underground and start killing the sleeping and reviving their bodies with shikon (link (http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/89/08/)), using the distraction to start cutting the leg muscles of the remaining genin in threat level order, attacking from underground.

Kabuto slaughtered many ANBU and then told Kakashi to prepare at least 10 next time.

Kabuto would not want to use Temple of Nirvana because that will cause Gaara to use Shukaku in it's full form. He would know this. He would also know that Gaara is the biggest threat and chakra scalpel him. However, at this stage, Kabuto could not extend his chakra scalpels very far. He couldn't even cut arteries because the were too deep. Post skip his scalpels get very long, but right now they aren't long enough to get past the armour of sand. If it wasn't for this Kabuto would win, but instead Gaara wins.

Kabuto might have a problem with Kankuro because medical ninjutsu doesn't work on puppets. Neji also might be a problem because of Kaiten, Kabuto might not be able to penetrate that. I'm going to give it to the genin with a lot of difficulty.

He uses shunshin to get past Gaara's autoshield, after he chakra scalpel rapes him.

Then temple of nirvana pwn most of them, while Kabuto defeats the guys that can break the genjutsu.

I'd say Kabuto takes this, with a lot of difficulty. With a suprise attack, he would essentailly be able to kill anyone he wants without them noticing, except for Gaara of course. With Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Hinata typically out of the fight due to their state of bodies or minds, Kabuto only really needs to worry about Neji, Lee, and Gaara. I'd feel he would be able to get past Gaara's suna no tate pretty quickly, killing him off first. Afterwards, Temple of Nirvana should effectivly do the trick for most of the genin.

kabuto looked like he was on the ground takign a dirt nap as well, we can argue about who won but the point is that its very unimpressive for a so called bad ass jounin. kabuto gets wasted in the scenario so bad its not even funny, well a little funny.
