NamaeX here, some of you may have seen my thread in Konoha TV with thoughts on who would be an awesome VA for Naruto.

Well here I am now with a thread with the same idea as that thread but for BLEACH.

I'm sure most of you are sitting there thinking "Dubs suck". Correction, you think ENGLISH DUBS and their EDITTING sucks. The difference? Dub means to add sound, English dub is to add sounds in English, but that's for another thread on another day. Back to what I was going to say... Not all English Dubbed Versions of anime suck, Pokemon, Inuyasha, Gundam Wing, .hack//sign, Witch Hunter Robin, and other titles were actually well done. However, I wish I could say the same about One Piece and Shaman King (The English Shaman King voices do tend to grow on people if they give it time).

I'm going to try a slightly different format from what I did in my Naruto thread.

Please give me constructive comments that could help build this list better like: Actors you think would suit the job, which roles they've done, in what way can you picture them voicing for that character, stuff like that. If you're very against the idea of BLEACH being dubbed into English, at least post here with some effort, who you think you'd cast if you had the power to make the English cast of BLEACH, just so you would understand how difficult it is to actually do casting work.

well, considering they're are only up to episode 37 so far I don't think we really have to worry about them licensing it for dubing any time soon in english, but it's never too soon to start thinking about it right? Hmm I'm not quite sure who would suit the vices, we've got a colorful cast of characters you'd need VA's with a wide range. Can I critique though? Your first choice for the voice of Rukia I'm not too sure about. The VA for Sam from totally Spies is too light (for a lack of better words). Rukia needs to sound deeper and maybe a little less happy? Your second choice is better, but just not quite right. It's deep but maybe a littled deep and a little too dark.

I think Richard Cox would be a sought out candidate, he's the voice of Inuyasha in Inuyasha, and I think his voice suitably fits most of the characters he has portrayed.

honestly, i wouldnt want that to happen to Bleach. and wow, cant believe you^ took the time to list the names of the possibilities....

but the best way would to hire some people who can give Bleach the same feel as japanese actors/actresses do. thats what i voted, at least.

Even though I haven't heard the voice of Hitsugaya, I think Brianna Siddall's voice would fit the face. I'm going to add that to my list!

Another voice for him could be Ocean Group's young Trunks from DBZ.

Richard Cox's voice... I'm half for it and half against him being Con.

Moneca Stori's voice does seem like it could work for Orihime.

Willow Johnson's Kikyo sounds too mature for Tatsuki, perhaps because I haven't heard anything from Kikyo that sounds like Tatsuki's wrath.

As far as dubbing goes I don't think the voices need to (or should) sound exactly like the Japanese voices but they should covey the same emotions so it's not like it should be completely different.

I enjoy dubs but I'm not really good at picking out VAs for characters, it just never seems right but ever since I've seen someone suggest Jerry Jewell (Kyo from Fruits Basket and Barry the Chopper from FMA) for Ichigo I find it really hard to think of anyone else for him! Rukia needs a deep voice, one that can sound like a boys sometimes, because at the beginning Ichigo calls her a boy (right? I havn't seen it in so long I sort of forget...), as for everyone else I just don't know.
