Kakashi pissed his pants when Oro looked at him, post-skip Kakashi has obviously gotten stronger but he's still outclassed (only his MS jutsu might work but he has no time to prepare).

Orochimaru > Most Akatsuki
Kakashi is too weak to face him.

Orochimaru wins. It has been plainly stated by Kakashi himself that Oro is superior.

Orochimaru crushes him, as much as I like Kakashi as a character, he's nowhere NEAR this level.

Kakashi is currently out of his league, give it a few years and he'd be over Oro's level...I mean he does have a MS, and still needs to learn to use it right.

Orochimaru stomps with ease, Kakashi might stand a chance of winning if he could fully control his Mangekyou Sharingan.

Orochimaru is basically stronger than all the akatsuki members aside from Madara, Pein, Itachi, and possibly Zetsu(who we know nothing about) while Kakashi at the moment can barely take on the weaker members of Akatsuki. Eventually once Kakashi masters his MS and gets a master summon, he will probably surpass Oro and become one of the strongest ninjas in the world.

Popular opinion here is absolute truth. Oro >>>>> Kakashi, and it's been that way for a loong time. I doubt it will ever change.
Orochimaru unrestricted wins this easily.
Edo Tensei, giant snakes and oral rebirth are just the things that put Oro out of Kakashi's league.
Take away the first two and we've got more of a fight on our hands.

Orochimaru easily takes this. You haven't made any restrictions or anything though, perhaps Oro with sealed arms vs. TS Kakashi would be a more interesting match up.

kakashi isnt up to par with the sannin yet. he needs another powerup or something but he should give oro a very good fight though.
I think this thread could probably be closed now.

Kakashi may have a slight edge given the fact that Oro has been known to play around. Perhaps Oro will underestimate him and Kakashi will send him into another dimension.
once Kakashi get his boss summon then he will stand a chance.

This fight can depend on a lot of circumstances with all things considered from both sides. Edo Tensei isn't an issue because I would say that is something Oro only specially prepares or has ready for special occasions like killing a Hokage or destroying a village.
The next issue is snake summons. I believe Kakashi should have a way to handle the smaller summons, but if Manda is in the picture he is in for some trouble. I am sure he would have no problem using his MS on such a large target, but even with Manda gone that will leave more snakes and drained stamina.
The other thing going for Kakashi is Orochimaru's cockiness. I believe that Oro would not feel the need to revert to either Edo Tensei nor a summon when facing Kakashi. He would rather toy with him personally and test his abilities. That is where I see a chance for Kakashi. Oro still outclasses him, but we shouldn't forget that Kakashi was able to go toe to toe with Itachi on a couple of occasions and also has plenty of experience vs opponents who outclass him (see Kakuzu fight).
All in all I believe Kakashi has a chance to put up a decent fight and pull off a win 1-3/10 times. If Oro simply pulls out huge snakes and rampages, than Kakashi doesn't stand a chance. IC I think it would not happen that way and Oro would be tempted to fight Kakashi straight up and that would give Kakashi a good opportunity.

Cyphon25 - Haha I enjoyed battling alongside you honorably against Nikushimi in the Jiraiya vs Itachi debate... but I have to disagree with you here. Oro >>>>> Kakashi.
1) It's unlikely Oro would need to use Manda against Kakashi, but even if for some sick reason he did, Kakashi would not take down Manda - Kakashi would be killed, crushed, eaten. Even if by some impossible miracle Kakashi defeated Manda, he would be left basically out of chakra. And then Oro would really be able to unleash whatever twisted sexual fantasy he wanted on Kakashi.
2) No matter how cocky Oro is (he is indeed very cocky), with his "immortality" displayed against Sarutobi, in the handicapped Sannin fight, and against KN4... Oro definitely wouldn't die even if Kakashi's Raikiri hit him straight up, even multiple times. And that's not likely to happen anyway, because Kakashi will be swamped with monstrous snake ninjutsu, impaled by Kusanagi, or met with Oro's impressive taijutsu + tongue if he tries to close-combat Oro.
In short, up until recently, Kakashi didn't even have a jutsu/move with the ability to kill Oro, even if he ambushed Oro while Oro was taking a dump. That's not even considering Oro's highly impressive offensive skills, not to mention intense bloodlust which gives him a huge psychological advantage in battle. It already made Kakashi shit his pants the only time we've seen them meet, during the Chuunin prelims.
Now, Kakashi's MKS black-hole jutsu gives him a little hope - but I, like most people, still can't see it letting Kakashi compete with Oro. Kakashi's MKS required closed eyes, waay too much prep time, and severe chakra drainage... and he still can't control it effectively. With the ability to jump out of his own mouth or split and regenerate his body, I think MKS unfortunately still doesn't help Kakashi much closer to the win against Oro.
With respect

I enjoyed it as well.

Even if by some impossible miracle Kakashi defeated it, he would be left basically out of chakra. And then Oro would really annihilate him hard.
I said he wouldn't use Manda. If he did however, I believe Kakashi could easily MS Manda since he is such a large target. I also stated that it would leave him drained of chakra if he used it. I am not quite sure what you were disagreeing with here.
2) No matter how cocky Oro is (he is indeed very cocky), with his "immortality" displayed against Sarutobi, in the handicapped Sannin fight, and against KN4... I believe Raikiri could kill him or how about even a Rasengan? He could use it on his head or heart which I would assume could actually kill him. As far as Kakashi keeping up in taijutsu, I will refer you to his performance vs Itachi. I do not believe in pure taijutsu that Oro holds a great advantage over Kakashi, if any at all.

Another misconception many still carry about Kakashi's MS. If you refer to the recent chapters where Kakashi was chasing down Tobi, he activated his MS almost instantly (I am too lazy to give the link). So it would appear he has at least improved on his prep time. Another misconception people carry: He was using it on a flying target while moving and said he still couldn't control it effectively, but was still able to rip off an arm. That means his idea of bad control still wasn't awful. So now imagine that the target isn't flying and that Kakashi has improved control (assumed since he improved activation time) and this becomes a very effective jutsu. Whether he can use it to win is still questionable, but it is certainly not the hard to use jutsu many perceive it to be.

You forgot about Kakuzu and Sasori.
Anyway, Orochimaru wins this fight with ease. He outclasses Kakashi in every way, including speed. I'm not sure if Oro outclasses Kakashi in Taijutsu, but it doesn't matter, because Oro is still superior.

Oro before his death at Post time sucks, he's dieing, withering and just sucking. I think Kakashi could own him in that vulnerable state.
But Oro mixed with Kabuto is a whole different story...

I was thinking the same thing. Kakashi will convert while Oro is in his "dieing" state.
and yea, Oro's fusion with Kabuto could be a relevant in Kakashi's case.

Kakashi's only hope is MS, especially against a man of Orochimaru's cailber. With Edo tensei, Oral Rebirth, and giant snakes such as Manda, Kakashi simply stands little to no chance unless he can nail Orochimaru's body with his MS justu. Though, I wouldn't but it past Orochimaru to lose to the sharingan, again. :blinditachi

Sorry I didn't clarify, Cyphon - this is what I'm disagreeing with. I've responded to this more below, but basically, I highly doubt Kakashi would have the time to prepare then use MKS against a boss summon the size of a mountain, charging towards him. Even if Kakashi pulled off MKS, I don't know if its AoE would be enough to kill Manda, but I know it would cost Kakashi a lot of chakra. Fact: throughout the manga, basically the only way to even compete with the strongest summons is to also summon a creature of similar size, strength, and intelligence (e.g. Bunta, Manda, Katsuyu, Shukaku...). Kakashi's MKS is high-level, but I can't see it defeating a Boss Summon straight-up. Veery few independant jutsu, such as Hashirama's Mokuton or Itachi's Susanoo, just miight be able to defeat Boss Summons... but I think we have to assume that most independant jutsu, even great ones like Kakashi's MKS or Gai's Asa Kujaku, wouldn't be enough to defeat them. Remember, Boss Summons are highly intelligent, unlike Pein's Lobster or Oro in Hydra Mode. They can evade very skillfully, and the Sannin Boss Summons (frog, snake, slug) have high damage-tankage and regenerative abilities as well.
It's true that he handled his MKS impressively then, and it has probably improved by now... but on the flipside, Deidara wasn't really looking out for anything then, and MKS would never work as a sneak attack against Oro. Plus, the loss of an arm or even half a torso, sickeningly enough, probably still wouldn't mean much to Oro, who can snake-mend his body like nothing after it's been torn in half by KN4, and simply peel off layers of skin or just get up after taking lethal damage.
I think "Kakashi's Raikiri could kill Oro" is unfortunately too brave an assumption, considering Oro was able to take a KN3 strike to the head and a KN4 body-slice like nothing. I don't think Kakashi's Rasengan is worth noting, because it didn't look like he had mastered it comfortably... if he did, he would mix it up with Raikiri, but he doesn't. He always uses Raikiri as his finishing move.
