An athletic shoe containing bones and flesh has been found on a beach about 30 miles west of Port Angeles, and authorities are investigating whether it may be linked to a series of human feet found in shoes in nearby British Columbia waters. (Aug. 4)

I think I heard about one of these cases on NPR, and the general consensus was that no one was actually cutting off the feet. They were left over from airplane accidents and washed ashore, or something. It didn't make sense to me -why would there be that many?- but whatever. Eh, I didn't actually watch the video though, so maybe it's not related.

PS: the fact that the feet was still in the shoe makes me think that perhaps sharks (or other fish) ate the rest... and just didn't appreciate tennis shoes. Besides, tennis shoes float, unlike body parts. So once the rest is eaten, they would reach for the surface. Frankly, that makes more sense than anti-feet psychopaths.

Well, i would think that if it was related to shark attacks or fish eating people who died in plane crashes, wouldnt they e able to determine that when they exam the remains of the feet and stuff? We all kno the difference between what cut marks look like and bite marks. I think that it would be the def decision maker if they gave out that info-
