The Dynamic Dew: Explosion of Youth FC

To first grab people's attention, let me say I have one commercial done a little ways down the first page, and that the member list shall always include my imaginary friends and Bill Clinton, well, atleast until 2 people join XD.

I got this idea from another user on a thread I created about soda-Naruto character link ups, which is to say, naruto characters being placed on various soda products.

This fan club is dedicated to the idea of Dynamic Dew: Explosion of Youth~. Dynamic Dew is a non-existant mountain dew product which features Gai and Lee as the spokesmen. All those out there who share a love or would absolutely love the idea of a Mountain dew venture with Gai and Lee as the spokesmen, feel free to join. I need an art director who can create little picture-thingies (new to the fc business ^^) that we can all put in our signatures. I personally love this idea so I hope lots of others do as well.

Okay, I'll get started on a pic. Haven't had Mountain Dew in months, though, so...don't mind if it's a little off. I'll probably just come up with a whole new idea.

The following commercial takes place when Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke first meet Rock Lee, our ever beloved hero and spokesman. This happens after the discovery of the fake room by Sakura, and starts shortly before Lee challenges Sasuke to fight.

Sasuke: Huh… you must have been fast to stop my kick like that. *drinks sprite* However, now that I’ve quenched my thirst, you won’t be so lucky.
Lee: I’d like to test something right here and now *drinks Dynamic Dew.* Might you be willing to fight me, Uchiha Sasuke? My name is Rock Lee.
Sasuke: A fight right now?
Lee: Yes, unless you’re worried your inferior drink won’t surmount to mine.
Sasuke: Heh… cocky kid. You can’t defeat sprite.
Lee: I wish to try out my techniques… and… :wink *blows kiss to Sakura*
Sakura: *melts* How dreamy… the scent… :hearts *shakes head* I mean, beat him to a pulp Sasuke. *looks dreamily at Lee*
Sasuke: You thick browed freak. You’re a fool for fighting a member of the genius clan. You can not win against my sprite.
Lee: You have no chance against the power of Dynamic Dew. Prepare for my explosion of youth! *turns a dark green and starts to run around Sasuke*
Sasuke: What is that power? My sharingan can’t keep up with his speed. :blink
Lee: AHHHH!!! *kicks Sasuke in the back*
Sasuke: (inner monologue): His kick… It was so fast. I couldn’t keep up with it. What did he drink? :amazed
Lee: You have only seen the start! *starts Shadow Leaf dance*
Sasuke: What power… How is this possible?
Lee: I have drunken the greatest of all energy drink. Your meager sprite could not possibly compare to Dynamic Dew: Explosion of Youth!
*Gai pops in riding a turtle* Gai: Lee!! *Hits Lee*:modsmack You know very well never to show your techniques in front of others!
Lee: Gai Sensei~! I’m sorry~ :sad
Gai: Even worse, you drank some Dynamic Dew without me.
Lee: I have another bottle sir!
Gai: Ah… the explosion of youth. Come here!
Lee: :crying Gai sensei!
Gai: :crying Lee!
*both hug*
Sasuke: I lost to these freaks?

Hate to double post, but my one friend who is really good with lightwave (rendering program) has promised me to make a mountain dew can and render Lee, and possibly a second one with Gai, on it. I can't wait for the pics. They will look awesome.

Yes! Any pics would be great. My one friend said it would take him 3 days or so to make the can/ice/mountain dew pouring out/graphically render Lee and stretch Lee around the can's edges. He deals with 3d images. Feel free to post any commercial ideas you come up with too.

Lol, I fully agree. This fc is the best joke fan club ever! Take that blind Itachi! They have fanclubs about fat, nerd Kisames, or Itachi with an eye problem, but who can beat the combined power of Mountain Dew and Lee? That doesn't even take into account Gai sensei! Mountain Dew has like, what, 5 flavors as well? This fc is unstoppable!!! (Oh, and I made it a bit smaller for my sig. Here's the smaller version).

Erk, so much has relatively happened in the time I've been gone. Damnit. Great job on the banners n' stuff, by the way.

Well, to summarize what has just happened, my dad has just bought a brand-new scanner for me. And it's great, complete with line softenening(my pencilwork often seems harsh when scanned), line sharpening(likewise, it often seems disconnected. Pencil doesn't really scan well).

Lo and behold, I find I have misplaced my glorious Rock Lee Dynamic Dew pic. Woe is me. I have failed to uphold my duties as the co-owner of this glorious fc. :crying

We should also make something for Live Wire, and the other two. I forget the actual names, but I remember one was Baja Mix or something, and the other was some sort of limited edition black berry or something. I'll just go ahead and make a few commercial pics for those after I finish correcting this, if you don't mind.

That's all the official site lists. We need some sort of tropical name reflecting Lee for Baja blast, and I guess an electric name for AMP. I think maybe we should ask the people of the f/c what they think and vote on a name for the others, but so few people are part of this right now it might be hard. Any ideas?

Well, since you want something tropical, I was thinking something along the lines of...Sunset Rain, since When Gai and Lee hug, the sunset appears sometimes. You can change around the Rain, but it should be kind of water or liquid themed. Hmmm...maybe River or Stream.

As for AMP...Electrifying Passion, maybe?

Lee fan art, only with Lee drinking Dynamic dew, and Gaara having a Dr. Pepper Gord. Basically, just show Lee kcking Gaara's butt, and rememebr this is an advertisement for how much better Dynamic dew is compared to Dr. pepper.

Chibi or normal? It'd be easier for me to do Chibi, as that allows me a bit of a stretch on their appearances, and can let me make Gaara seem considerably funnier, but it is still your call, Hirokiri, or SotL. Whoever starts the contest.

Alrighty! Use w/e version of dynamic dew you might like to use, though might I suggest using one that hasn't been showcased yet (Lotus fusion for extra points? XD). As to whether it's chibi or not, do w/e you feel is most creative. As to the dr. pepper gord, I'm sure you guys have heard of the soda dr. pepper. Just creatively represent Dr. pepper on Gaara's gord. It might be by having little signs all over, just like he had all those traveling stickers on the one cover, or you might want to make the gord an actual dr. pepper can. *shrugs* w.e you guys think would work best. I suppose I'll be the official judge, but members are allowed to put forth their vote as well (save for the two participating ofcourse XD).

Hi all~ This is going to be really brief as I've been a horrid owner and have been busy with IB and the like (Oh, and today's my brother's 16th birthday as well). I promise I'm going to make up something later tonight (expect it in about 3 to 4 hours) about a contest involving this fc~ I'll post the link in here as well as start it in the art district (if I'm so allowed ofcourse~). :omg I actually tried to cut mountain dew out of my diet for the past month because I was worried about my weight. That lasted for about 2 weeks, and I am again faithfully drinking dynamic dew~

Bump-no-jutsu + I made a new banner based on the fanart/wallpaper (I'm using it as a wallpaper anyway, lol) from ArioNeko. Here's the new banner which I hope everyone will use because it's not massive like the first banner I made (I'm even using this banner for a while atleast).

Waaaah! I spent like 45 minutes toying with fireworks before I made that last one and I forgot to save my source file... Granted I can do it again quick in like 10 mins since now I know what I am doing but I was just messing around saw this thread and though what the heck. Looked up some custom fonts found I had one on hand and well... Randomly threw it together...

But Open Canvas and the Adobe Photoshop are better, imo, for things like when I wanna try to color one of my scanned pics.

Alright Photoshop is superior for modification if you can get used to it but nothing is better for animated gifs than Fireworks this not so far cousin of Flash. Deal?

Yep. In all fairness, generally I use Fireworks. But I got Open Canvas 4+, and I gotta tell ya, while Fireworks is better for making sigs an banners an stuff...Open Canvas is better for making the stocks for the sigs. That said, shouldn't you put that Hinata-swirly water dance thingy in under Stoned Kakashi and to the right of Sakura's Orgasm Sound?

Well I wanted to have 1 serious club and 1 joke club for each character but as you see my Sakura's Orgasm Sound FC threw that off so might have to drop the fat sakura. Dunno if I can find a matching Lee club for this Dynamic Dew onces I get around to making a probably non-animated banner...

Actually as I type this I got a neat idea so it might be aniamted though dunno if it will be as elaborate as the Sailor Hinata, Anti-Sakura & Sakura's Orgasm Sound banners.


I have room for 2 more clubs (+Dynamic Dew) in my sig the rest will go into a spoiler tag so I dunno what else as of yet... I hope to at some point fill my sig with banners for each of my clubs each made by me. I am a proud man so I love my rep and I love seing ym banners used.
