The top 4 highest picked series we're selected.

And here they are in no particular order:

Katekyo Hitman REBORN
http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/3562/reborncoverci6.jpg
Reborn is about a boy, Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, who is chosen to become a mob boss. Tsuna unwillingly undergoes training from Reborn, a hitman from Italy. Timoteo a.k.a. "Vongola IX," the head of the Vongola Family, sent Reborn to train Tsuna; the first Vongola boss moved to Japan, and Tsuna was his great-great-great grandson; the other candidates for the position of the head of the Vongola family died. Enrico, who was the leading candidate to become "Vongola X", died in a gun battle. Massimo, the second, "sleeps with the fishes." Federico, the favored son, was found as a pile of bones. For these reasons, Tsuna is the only remaining heir.

Reborn's main instrument of choice in teaching Tsuna is the "Dying Will Bullet" which will make the person be "reborn" with a stronger self intent on fulfilling his dying will.

Vampire Knight

Yuki's earliest memory is of a snowy night in winter, when she was attacked by one vampire and was saved by another, Kaname Kuran. Ten years later, Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, has grown up and become a guardian for the school, with two purposes: To protect the Day class (humans) from the Night class (vampires)'s fangs and to protect the true identity of the Night class students from being discovered by the Day class students.

Kaname Kuran, Yuki's savior, leads the group of Night class, with the help of Takuma Ichijo. But also at her side is Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend who was born into a family of vampire hunters and whose hatred for the vampires that destroyed everything he held dear, is now determined to kill them all and never trusts them. Through a cruel twist of fate, Zero becomes a vampire himself, having been bitten by a pureblood.

Genre: Action, Drama, Romance, Comedy

Nabari no Ou
http://i16.tinypic.com/712f68j.jpg
Set in the modern age, the story is about Rokujo Miharu, who just wanted to live a normal life and inherit a restaurant. At the moment, his biggest problem was the constant pestering from Kouichi Aizawa and Thobari Kumohira, who started a Nindō (忍道, Nindō? lit. "Way of the Ninja") Club. Miharu wanted nothing to do with "ninjas" and turns them down every time. But soon, he is attacked by an actual group of ninjas and is protected by Kouichi and Kumohira. There, Miharu learns of the hidden ninja world Nabari, the roles of his classmate and teacher in that world, and of the hijutsu Shinrabanshō (森羅万象, Shinrabanshō? lit. "all things in nature") within him. The hijutsu, containing all the world's knowledge, is sorely coveted after in Nabari. And because of that, Miharu cannot return to his normal life. He must become the "Ruler of Nabari" to survive.
Genre: Action, Fantasy, Comedy, Drama, Supernatural

D.Grayman
http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/6412/grayytt5.jpg
The story of D.Gray-man takes place on a fictional Earth at the end of the 19th century. The plot centers around Allen Walker, a young British boy, who is a member of The Black Order, a secretive organization whose members are known as Exorcists. The Orders primary mission is to stop The Millennium Earl, an ancient demonic sorcerer, who intends to 'cleanse' the world by destroying all life.

Exorcists are specially chosen humans who are gifted with the ability to control and use Innocence, a divine substance created in ages past to combat the Earl. According to the Order's history, at the end of The Great Flood, 109 fragments of Innocence were scattered around the world. Once an Innocence fragment is matched to its compatible user, it can become a weapon or tool for the user to wield in the battle against the Earl.

Throughout the story, Allen is introduced to more Exorcists, including Yu Kanda, Lenalee Lee, Lavi, Miranda Lotto, and Arystar Krory. Assisting Allen and the Exorcists are a team of scientists and handlers led by Komui Lee, a Supervisor of the Black Order and Lenalee's older brother. Allen's master and mentor is the enigmatic Cross Marian, one of the five Exorcist Generals of the Black Order, who at the beginning of the story has mysteriously disappeared. In the course of completing their missions, Allen and his fellow Exorcists are introduced to the other Generals: Kevin Yeegar, Froi Tiedoll, Cloud Nine, and Winter Sokaro.

The Millennium Earl is aided in his plans by The Noah Clan, humans who are direct descendants of Noah himself. Each member of this clan is gifted with great power and each represent a different 'aspect' of Noah. They are identified by their gray skin and line of cross-shaped markings on their foreheads. As the story progresses, more members of the clan are revealed including, Road Kamelot (the Dreams of Noah), Tyki Mikk (the Pleasures of Noah), Jasdero and Debitto (the Bonds of Noah), and Skin Boric (the Wrath of Noah).

The Earl also utilizes an army of demonic creatures called Akuma to do his bidding. Akuma are created by taking advantage of someone's grief over the death of a loved one. The Earl tricks individuals into bringing their loved one back to life through a skeletal 'doll', only to have that doll kill them and turn them into an Akuma with the soul of the dead loved one trapped inside. Akuma are able to evolve and with each new level grow more intelligent, powerful, and sadistic. Since Akuma can impersonate humans to blend in, Exorcists are routinely assigned to track down and eliminate them.

Reborn's very, very close to an epic fight, but we don't know when fillers will strike. Are we really going to discuss filler in a separate sub-forum?

Haven't watched VK, and Nabari no Ou doesn't have much to discuss except Miharu's latest Batman joke, so I'm voting for D.Gray Man which is reaching its current arc's climax. A very awesome climax too, I might add. Another plus point for DGM is that it finally has some decent subbers (Higure-Rumbel, for anyone wondering).

I watch and enjoy all four series. At this point VK, is ending it's first season, so automatic "No" from me. Hitman Reborn is in a pretty awesome place storyline wise, but the fact that it's so close to the manga material makes me think filler material in the very near future. Nabari no Ou, would be a good choice, because it's just peaking at the right time, however, I'm going to go with D.Grayman, because it's essentially going to have some great episodes in the month of July if it continues following the manga material with the latest fight.

Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! :arg

Don't vote Vampire Knight now, otherwise we won't get the chance for a sub forum when the 2nd season airs in October!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus with only 1 episode left it would be such a waste now.

Errrr so yeh, not voting VK for this reason... :P

Voted for Nabari no Ou.

I love the DGM manga, but despise some of the major seiyuu choices in the anime to the point that I could never make it past the first twenty episodes. Vampire Knight ends after the next episode until October (like many have said); plus, it's one of those series that I'm finishing because I started rather than because I like. So, even if it was active it wouldn't get my vote. KHR! would've gotten my vote due to the level of its discussion value. But, since it was tied in my affections with Nabari, I went with the former as it looks like it has a better chance of winning, and I really don't want either Vampire Knight or DGM taking the subforum area (although that's how things are going ;_;).

I wish people would stop nominating ENDLESS SHOUNEN like D.Gray-man and Hitman Reborn, or they're just gonna get a monopoly every 6 months.

I would like some sort of restriction that only allows seasonal anime like Vampire Knight and Nabari no Ou to get the chance.

I voted for Nabari no Ou

There's a problem with even that assumption. The first season of Vampire Knight will have ended by the time July rolls around. In fact I'm starting to have doubts of even having that title up there this time around.
