Mao in the last season played a important part in the plot, when it came to dealing with Lelouch's geass, and masterminding him by reading his mind. Also because of Mao,we were introduced more into C.C.'s past in which C.C. supposly made a promise to never leave Mao. I think the directors used Mao in the last season to show how the Geass can make you go insane,if it continues to grow.
It was Mao's presence for the reason why C.C. almost abandoned Lelouch. Mao's presence who made Lelouch erase Shirley's memories with his Geass. And who could forget this.

Yes,Mao with a freaking chainsaw, saying he was going to cut C.C. into little parts to make her compact size. If Season 2 doesn't need more Mao,then I don't know what it needs.
Anyways carrying on,as we all know Mao was shot to the death by the police, but as we all know Britannia medical forces are notorious for waking up the death,or rather V.V. Now Mao being resurrected by V.V. in Season 2 could be great for the following things.
- V.V. could help Mao's Geass Crisis
- Mao will want to get revenge on Lelouch X C.C. again.
- Mao might have gotten a Knightmare Frame
- Mao will still be crazy and insane, only speaking in riddles, and foaming at the mouth heavily whenever he sees C.C. [ ok maybe not -_- ]
- A chainsaw attached to Mao's arm
- Mao will reveal more information about C.C.'s past
Anyways, this is just my opinion of what would have been epic to see, instead of Orange, really for some reason the creator keeps piling on upgrade after upgrade on this guy and he still fails, meh we'll see how he does this Season.

beeing able to read one's mind as a knightmare pilot is extremely powerfull. and 500 meter is huge. if he had a custom frame like guren or tristan he'd be top tier.
"oh you want to shoot me?" "hey look why is your gun over there?"
"oh a kick hu?" "why are you missing a leg?"
"you think about your mother?" "she has a birthmark right below her belly button, does she?"
lol the geass of his could be realy entertaining. but i doubt he'll be back. rescuing a person close to death is possible. but resurrecting the dead won't happen imo.
You mean Mao's dead? OH SHI-

I prefere him dead, If he showed up again it would just be a recap of his role in s1.
And I had enough of him then.

There's seems to be a misunderstanding. Orange was never killed, remember that V.V. is able to teleport both person and machine demonstrated in Ep 19 of first season, and that was the reason Laksharta couldn't find his knightmare mentioned in R2 Ep 9.
Mao is dead, gone, whacked, axed, history, kaput, silenced, he is :pwned

No, he needs to stay dead. I wished Jeremiah didn't constantly come back as well. I hate when villains get the fucking Naraku syndrome and take forever to finally stay dead.

I thank Mao for his role, but nah.
Then again, he might be more interesting than stupid Jeremiah. He's not worth it when he's just smirking and drinking tea.
I don't think V.V. can ressurect people, nor do I think Jeremiah ever died.

orange never died
i suspect bc of the experiments done on him (And their connection with C.C.) he has a C.C. like superhuman regenerative ability. and I'm sure that w/e V.V. did with him has made him even more powerfull. That said i hate him, he pisses me off, he's just incredibly annoying (granted he seemed far more cool and collected in the last episode he was in, but i'm sure thats just temporary)

Mao was not shot to death by the police.
You're right.CC killed with a shotgun to the neck at close range.
Besides Mao was brought from the dead once allready. One more time would be overkill.

No way. Orange-kun is bloody epic, his epic is nearly that of Lelouch himself. Mao was just annoying (but funny towards the end).

lol, imagine if V.V. brought back BOTH Orange and Mao, two psychopaths hunting down Lelouch+CC would be interesting

Orange didn't actually really die, I mean, he could have easily remained alive and escaped after C.C went back to the surface.

quoted for thruth, I hate Jeremiah right now and hope he dies soon and just as pathatic like when we first met him.
@Mao ressurection: No he wouldn't make that good a soldier, remember he couldn't be too much around people because he cant control his geass. He would go more insane then he already is.
Besides, what is the point of having a ticking time bomb? mao is crazy as hell and could snap any moment, especially with Zero having CC to pressure him. (One can conclude he would more or less pull his own agenda because of his obsession for C.C)
