My original thought about Bleach was that they were in the Shogunate times, but since they used Hollows and Vizard and Arrancar i got addicted to it.

Since it has a small Shogunate time to it i like it. The anime with the old Shogunate times are the best anime.. Kenshin, BKI, Samurai Champloo is a good one, and like other anime in that since got me in it as well.

I like Bleach because of the fighting, the comedy, and the relationships that Ichigo has. Fighting includes the zanpakuto's, comedy includes the relationship of Ichigo and Renji, the relationship includes Rukia and Ichigo. Plus, the story line is great, I want to know what happens after Aizen's defeat. Will Ichigo go out with a blaze of glory or live and fight again? I also like Ichigo and his dad's relationship and hopefully Isshin will disclose his shinigami powers to Ichigo. Well that is why I like about it.

You should just skip the end of that arc because it's pretty boring. You should also read the manga and catch up to now and I bet you will most likely have a different opinion on Bleach.

I have a few things that war with each other over which will be my final favorite thing about the series. And, they would be (in no particular order, obviously):

1. Those singularly stunning, climatic moments within the series, where plot, character and all other aspects were actually doing what needed to be done while it was necessary. For instance, when Aizen revealed his true intentions, Uryuu’s telling Mayuri his name during the SS arc prior to burning himself out in order to defeat the Captain, Ichigo’s temporary saving of Rukia-
Nel’s transformation into her adult form, etc.
I can’t say that I love the plot as a whole, but there are moments of brilliance which keep me hooked to the story.

2. My favorite characters.

While their growth can sometimes be cliché and their actions inconsistent, Kubo is wonderful at putting together personalities which attract, entertain, and, occasionally, disturb. From Uryuu’s introduction I began to fall in love with the series, then came Gin’s mischief at the gate, followed by both delightful sides of Aizen, the love story of Byakuya and his nobility, the candy-totin’ sweet strength of Ukitake, and Szayel’s insane, impassioned genius. Even if the story should fall apart completely, I won’t be able to put down this series as long as one of the above remain.

3. Similar to the better climactic plot moments, Kubo also has a tendency to include certain key panels which are beautiful (and often dark) in their artistry: Uryuu’s hands, Gin’s smile, and Aizen’s eyes.

This is connected to the favorite character aspect, I suppose, since I’m primarily including examples of the ones I love most. But, every once in awhile, Kubo manages some form of artwork that really just captures me. At the very beginning of the series, I adored the panels of Uryuu’s hands as he shot through Hollow after Hollow, blood beginning to drip down them. It was during a time when Kubo was less precise in his art, but he was also allowed more creativity. And, this is evidenced by the wonderful shading and well-drawn storytelling being weaved through panels of one Qunicy’s hands.

Gin’s smile and Aizen’s eyes are both paradoxically filled with good cheer and darkness. They esnare my attention and give off a comforting yet eerie feeling of sweet danger; velvet over the steel that cuts your throat. And, this feeling is directly inspired by some of the panels that Kubo has drawn of them which were meant to highlight these specific aspects, filling the characters with individualism and motivation.

While I like many more things about the series, the above are my three favorite aspects, whose importance in my affections changes depending on the day, the chapter, and whim.

Bleach has had threads about so many "what if" options that makes you spin and hope for all kinds of things.

Under stylish: Characters, Cloths, Chapter names, beside the engrish, he makes damn interesting chapter names. Where else do you find chapter names such as: "Nice to meet you I will beat you", "In Sane We Trust", "Paradise is no(w)here","Not perfect is Go0d", "Goodbye halicion days" etc etc.
