Trivium are just a more bad, metalcoreish version of mid era Metallica. I can get into some of their songs, but the majority of their music is horrible.

That sounds about right. I have to agree with McDoo, there are a few songs I can stand, others I can't at all.

6 out of 10. They aren't the best out there, but definitely not the worst. Plus their 2nd album, Ascendancy, was very good imo

People who write them off as 'a blatant Metallica rip off' just parrot what they read in music magazines, incapable of forming their own opinion.

ummm dude...listen to their new album and tell me it's not a metallica rip off.... I don't read music magazines and the day that album dropped, i bought it, listened to it, and never listened to it again. The vocals are about 99% the same as James Hetfield after Metallica went to shit

They came with the cake when I went to Iron Maiden. Lot's of noise, more headbangng but just boring noise. It basically sounded like my computer.

I might be wrong though, because I was extremely drunk.
