How do you think KN0 Naruto could defeat the full Shukoku Gaara?

After thinking about it, didn't you find it odd during the Takeover of Konoha how Naruto was able to defeat a fully released Shukoku? He at the time was a genin, and was barely able to really release his Kyuubi powers as it is, yet somehow he's able to defeat another Jinkurii who is at the most powerful they can possibly be.

Any thoughts on how this could have occurred?

Naruto summoned Gamabunta who helped him defeat Shikaku. Naruto punched Gaara awake, Shikaku disappeared. Naruto headbutted Gaara, Shikaku went to pieces.

Honestly? Infinite chakra supply, bar none. It's what enabled to summon Gamabunta, do that combined transformation, self-heal, etc. Yeah he has an assload of willpower, but it's the sheer amount of chakra the kid can summon up that enables him to actually take action, a lot of the time.

Kyuubi is far stronger than Shukaku...Shukaku is the weakest of all the tailed bests...Besides that, Naruto wanted to protect his friends ans as Haku said it is when you protect someone precious that you become truly strong.

has to wake Gaara up before Shukaku is at full power.
It wasn't yet as strong as it normally is.

High energy radiating from KN0 could cause Gaara's sand to crytsalize into glass, reducing the amount of it and leaving him vunerable to more attacks. Plus, take into fact the increased stamina/speed/strength that comes with the power up.

He did not defeat Shukaku. Gamabunta could barely hold his own, and so they focused on waking Gaara up, which forced Shukaku back into dormancy... if they hadn't done that, they would have been screwed.
