My English is well poor at times. So if you can tweak my words, and sentence fragments around by all means go ahead.

Well I think all of the manga should be translated.

Ill pass over Episode G to K1nj3 and other members so they can begin translating it.
Ill start with the Classic Saint Seiya and the New Next Dimension series.

I think if we devide the work, and keep it organize everything would be easier and smother.

But right know Im clocking in 60 - 85 hours a week, at work so my time is vary limited at the moment.

So please tell me which is the best font for normal scripts?! and tell me what should I write in the black bar!!!!! Plus what can I do to make it look better!!??

One more thing!! What should I do to correct words I mean sometimes they spell the name exactly like English (Seiya) so should I erase it and write it again??? or is okay to leave it as it is!?

You want to translate the side stories first like the one which Shion and Dohko appear in plus Saga's one plus Aioros vs Tyfon right!?

But why don't we start one by one... I mean before VOL1 these is a gaiden we will translate it after finishing vol1 we will begin with vol2 where we will translate gaiden 2!??

About the names I am fine with all the names mentioned except some of them :

For this guy I recommend the original name Orpheos/Orpheus since it makes since because he is the same guy from the stories...

Well About Algol if we think in what we listen in japanese we should write Argor, the french translation exported to all the world became Argol..which is .....awfulsince is real name is Algol..and is being used in most recent publications and being corrected in most of sites.

About the brothers, in France Portugal and Brasil is called Aiolia and the other Aioros. But if we are thinking in doing a faithful scanslation we sould ignore the previous mistakes and do the right thing. Using a K or a C in Kanon don't change anything in the sound. But using a R in in place of a L change a lot, beside that, the alusion of the wind gods has somekind of hidden meaning for Aiolos.

Aiakos is greek, Coeus was my mistake, is latin, the right version is Koios.


Sorry to say but neither Orpheus of OVA1 : Eris, neither the one imprisioned in Hades are the mithological Orpheu. The first was an ancient saint close to myth times, but not the original. The last disapeared of santuary some years before, thing that is stated by Seiya in manga. In the OVA he's playing to the present gold saints. He couldn't live so much.



And that is old news. The french site is saiyng that Toei finished doing Ring ni Kakeru so they are already thinking about the second part of Inferno.

It was the first thing that popped into my mind, when I thought of name for fan sub regarding Saint Seiya.

Many don’t know that, there is actually 13 zodiac constellations and signs and not 12.

Regardless it pertains to 88 constellations. (which fits nicely to the 88 Saints in Athena‘s command.)


The 13th zodiac is called “Ophiuchus”or “Serpentarius”.

About the game.... In the last video you will notice the saints doing something like a "Dragon Rush" from DBZ Bodukai... Where you will see the saints flying (Floating in mid air) and throwing fire balls!!!

Regarding the translation... DLD we are not lazy or slow!!! We just need an English translator!!!! Because I finished translating the first chapter long ago inthe first Day Id posted his translation!!!! But I am not uploading the chapter because I want to confirm there is no English errors...

By the way Id I think it is a good Idea to have more members in the team... However I don't mind doing the scanlation for all the 30 chapters and even more!!! Especially I am free these days... I don't have anything special to do!!!! So I am willing to work on the translation!!!!! Don't foget I want to read EP.G translated too So I don't want to stop this project no matter what Happens :D

It's a university production, its called Karma or 缘来如此. It's about 5 characters and how their relationships change over three lifetimes: the Qin(秦) Dynasty, 1930s Shanghai and the 1990s.

So we wrote all the music (around 25 pieces), the script, do all the technical stuff, made all the props, painted 4 massive backdrops, created a student orchestra etc.

It's been fun, but completely draining.

What CMC is correcting is the the same translation.

I want to see how well we all can depend on each other, so I also gave him a copy of the translation.

After all Saint Seiya is a big manga. And my personal goal is to translate the entire manga. (but that’s a lot)

Next time the chapter should go through this process to finish the chapter earlier with less errors:-

1- Id translates the chapter
2- Id should give the translation to Syrena and Ginnyling with the scans if he can
3- At the same time Id should give me the scans alone without the translation so that I can erase the spanich words and do the neccessary
4- After checking the translation with Syrena and Ginnyling the translation should be given to CBG to check the grammar and spelling
5- CBG Should finish editing and then he should give me the translation and I will do the scanlation
6- THE CHAPTER SHOULD BE UPLOADED!!!

I Think if we follow this process we will finish the translation as best as we can!!!!

and by Translation Checkers I meant the meaning and words checkers!!!! Maybe one translates something wrong... like "Soul" and "Heart" Stuff... things that aren't English errors but they are mistakes either in the original scans or in the translation itself... ^^

It's always "kosumo" in Japanese. I can't use the characters on this crappy computer, but use "Cosmo". :)

Hmmm. I did try to translate this whole part... I think that "heart" was the word used. I'm not going to go grab my laptop right now, though.

I personally like the third translation best, but it seems to come down to the best way to put it in English; the meanings of the three are very similar.

So for the moment:

1- Id, Syrena and CBG (and whoever else wants to do it) translate whichever version of the scans they have.

2- Translations are sent to Id who will merge and send to Ginnylin

3- Ginnylin will proof-read and edit minor mistakes/typos, grammer etc.

4- Final translation is sent to The Emperor for scanlation.

5- k1nj3 and The Emperor upload scans/torrent to wherever that is appropriate.

Naturally, difficult situations (e.g. translations vary dramatically) or questions will be posted in this FC for debate.

It has come to my attention a small matter.

If we want to continue using high quality Scans fro Saint Seiya Zone. We must give cridits to the opening page to both “Lalinkce” and “Shun Piscis”. As well as the Saint Seiya Tags can not be tempered with or removed.

To tell you the truth I rather not use those scans. I think the Scans provided by DLD are just fine. Plus their vary much clean. We can use are Star Hill tags and And credit ourselves only for our work.


So let me know what the decision will be?

A - Use SSZ scan and giver credit to the original scanlators.
B - Use the Chinese scans.

Sorry a mistake, Tenma is the name of the Pegasus Constellation in Japanese the name of the ancient Pegasus Saint Start with Sei... I dont know the rest of the letters :P

What is Episode G? It is an official manga about saint seiya... the story takes place 6 years maybe before the first saint seiya manga... the artwork is done by Shadow Skill's author.... It talks about the war between Gold Saints and Titans... a real interesting saint seiya manga

I wanted to suggest that you guys start translating the Gaidens (Side Stories) before the others, for instance you can start translating the Holy War side story, Gemini Saga, Aioros...etc then you can start with the others so the people will have a brief idea about the characters...

Sounds like a good idea.
Gaidens will be the next project.
On top of that, I have found eng translation of volumes 1-3.
So I do not plan on translating the rest, instead we will continue from chap 14-33.

I will dl the eng vol 1-3 and upload them to the pimping project.
I know TE wants to continue the entire translation in our fan sub. But its to much work for one translator and one scanlator who has so lil time in our hands. If I had more translators and escalators I will reconsider. (Plus I still want to tackle the Classic manga vol 1-19 XD).

Ep G has its mind bugling moments with its poetic phrases that can be interpreted in different way, or have different meaning. Figuring out the right translated phrase, that also sounds good can be a frustrating at times. (Although I had fun reading our translation compared to the other translation XD).

Ok, I was speaking to another leader of a Fansub group dedicated in translating Saint Seiya.
They are bigger group then us, and have volume 1 out and are about to realese volume2 along with the Gaidens.

So I plan on finishing volume 1, have volume 2, and have all (9 gaidens) ready for release by the end of this month.

I think I have bin slacking off (to much) and I will post pone Saint Seiya info center indefinitely.

I realize, that although we are a small Fan Sub we have a vary solid group…and I have bin comparing our over all quality with the rest. I have to say we are doing a great job, and would rather see all of our work continue.

I also want to start working on next dimension.

So please Help me out. I am going to address each of you individual, so that we can re-organize and move on with our project.

I don't know how you guys feel about this, but it's always bothered me that Dohko is refered to as 'Roshi.' Techinically, that should be spelled 'Laoshi' because it's a Chinese title, not a Japanese title, but the Japanese mess up the pronunciation, and therefore misspell it.

I would love to see it written correctly in a translation.
