Yeah, I got One more step..., and I do agree, they are so fucking amazing, what impresses me most about them is their guitar tone, it's amazingly clear while still being packed with a ton of effects. And that whole album is like amazing, it's so beutiful.

Also what do you mean, winzip it? Haven't I done so with everything I sent you so far?

the 5 songs from mono that decompressed correctly were awesome, I must say :thumbs

They are as good as or better than WEG, IMO.

Good stuff :D

Jkingler, to bad that you're having problems, but I'll be happy to reupload it for you anytime, this great music needs expousur.

Can you guys belive that I actually missed this band live when they came to Sweden, only because I was ignorant of the existence of post rock at the time, damn my ignorance (maybe the greatest misstake of my life).

From what I've read in reviews, these bands seem really amazing live, they say that the audience is like mezmersied by the band and that the dynamic of the songs is usually alot stronger live, and they often mention that the volume of the bands is insane.

Funny thing about Mono is or so it seem, that they never talk live. Not even to say thanks, I wonder if it's the truth.

But to bad I live in a backwater country, it's like really rare for a good band to come to Sweden, GYBE came here only once, three years ago.

Joe, pass colin the link for the new Mono I sent you last night please. I think I delted it.

Also, I'm going to up the latest Mono + World's Endgirlfriend collab. It's unlike anything the 2 bands have created till now. Gone os the focus on the systematic buildup and climax, an gone is the obsucre experimntal nature. Instead the foucs is on simplistic sustained harmony with minor variations added. It feels more like Philip Glass or Rachel's with a touch of GSY!BE from their F#a#oo period, but far more morbid and lonesome.

I though I passed the links to everyone (who was there at the time at least). But I'll get on it, unless someone has the tracks on their pc and can share them now. That would be most excellent.

I cannot express my love for Mono in such a way that would do them justice. So much more sincere, intense, explosive, AMAZING than just about any other group out there. I've finally got my hard copy of "ONE MORE STEP AND YOU DIE" this week. It is pure genius. Must MUST have for any self-respecting fan of instrumental music.

From what I've read in reviews, these bands seem really amazing live, they say that the audience is like mezmersied by the band and that the dynamic of the songs is usually alot stronger live, and they often mention that the volume of the bands is insane.

So I was on their concert yesterday...indeed it's loud, I was half-deaf for 15 mins after. I also liked how they move, especially Taka (guitarist). The bassist Tamaki is rather monotone just stepping from leg to leg tho. Overall great but too short :cry (1:15)

Funny thing about Mono is or so it seem, that they never talk live. Not even to say thanks, I wonder if it's the truth.
Dunno for all concerts but they didn't say a word to audience. Tamaki seemed very nice after though. I exchanged a word or 2 with her.

But to bad I live in a backwater country, it's like really rare for a good band to come to Sweden, GYBE came here only once, three years ago.
Well they're going to Greece now afaik.

You know, I've come to the conclusion that Oklahoma might be the worst place in all of the United States, when I'm trying to find bands I listen to shows. It's a little rediculous, and infuriating.
