Hey Haunter...could you please say with the numbers..how those sounds are called? Cause that way I'll know which ones you mean. ( knows how to pronounce every sound, but doesn't mean which ones you actually mean by the numbers)
I guess 3 would be an ayn and '3 a ghayn but I'm not sure which sounds you mean with the other numbers.
EDIT: Who the fuck gave me neg rep for this? Be a man and leave your name. And tell me why. :notrust Or i'll drop a bomb on your house like all arab speaking people do :P

Haunter don't you live in an Arabic speaking country? I thought you would know how to speak and understand REAL Arabic...I know it is tougher and sounds strange but still. And can you explain better how to say this word: goowa? Some of the stuff is probably said differently or are completely different all together.
Zhongda
06-07-2005, 11:13 PM
yup!
and iam from Kuwait =D
hmm goowa huh?
its pronounced the way its spelled..
gewah/goowa
^sounds between these 2.. hope that helps ^__^;;
p.s
goowa is not a formal wayt to say hi.. not many may understand it
the formal way would be "Ehlan" or "Ahlan"
I ARE 1031
06-07-2005, 11:32 PM
Yeah, I know the formal ways but maybe that is only used in some countries and not others. My family isn't from Kuwait so other countries might not use it or not very often.

hello i saw this arabic thread soo i thought i have to say something
its a little bit hard to study arabic cas it is a full language
it has every thing in it every word can be transelated to arabic
but you will need a speacialest to do that or a dictionary
i will tell you about the grammer
but not now maybe later
shin getter
06-10-2005, 11:39 AM
hello i am back with the grammer of the arabic lang.
a word is devaided into 3 parts
noun
or verb
or adj.
if the sentanse begin with a noun then it is called a noun sentance
if it begins with a verb then its a verb sentance
and there isnt a ajd. sentace
this was a little bit of info on the arabic grammer
i hope that you lerned a thing
Zhongda
06-10-2005, 01:48 PM
Hey Shin Getter, =D iam also from Kuwait!
and nice..
arabic grammer.. in english seems easier :blink
and yes arabian music is distinguished.. i always say if u heard one arabian song.. u heard them all Xp
shin getter
06-10-2005, 02:33 PM
I am at the next side of the rever
i hate arabic songs
i like jap. songs they are better
hehehe
and now for more arabic grammer
if the sentance is noun
then the first word is called mobtadaa witch means {the first thing}
and the word that complets the sentance is called khabar
here is an example
micle is playing
micle is the mobtadaa
playing is the khabar
this is if the sentace was a noun sentance
wait for more HE HE

Me too! Except I don't fully understand all the Arabic accents, and some of them are REALLY strange and sounds like they are mumbling instead of speaking.
^ Yeah it took me a long time to understand the accents. SOme times it sounds like there not even speaking Arabic. My mom even has trouble with ppl with the arabic accent. Its good to meet another Egyptian.

I mean no disrespect but what sort of logic is that?
You said, learn English before you talk about other languages?
What are you talking about?
If you’re going to put somebody down by displaying your superior spelling ability, don't spew out illogical comments directly after it. You’re just going to make yourself look like a complete tit.

ill translate them into the traditional arabic.
I don't know = la aalam (the second "A" should come to sudden stop when pronouncing it would sound more like " a-i-lam"
Leave me alone = daany washaany (again, anythuing with two consective "A's" sounds like the above)
Go away = ith-hab baeedan (the "E's" here are similar to the two "A's")
Shut up = Oskot (or for a more deragetory term "chub")
get out of my room = okhroj min darey
I don't care = la yahom-ony
can you repeat that? = hel momkn an towathih
ill continue the rest l8r XD
