View Full Version : Is the uncut version worth waiting for?
Idk what the difference between the two are. I've been watching just the uncut since episode 2. But waiting for Rumbel is hard sometimes and I want to know if I should just screw it and go for the regular.
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Nope.
There is no difference between the two with regards to the actual episodes. The only differences are in the eye-catches and extended previews (which aren't necessarily better than the normal previews). The "extended preview" at the end of 6 was awful and had nothing to do with episode 7.
The uncut doesn't have more gore?

I wasn't necessarily waiting for the uncut, it's just that Rumbel was the group releasing an SD version. I noticed AEN released an SD of episode 6 which I watched now, but I'll probably still download Rumbel's when they release it, just so all of mine are the same...SYMMETRY erm, wait...CONSISTENCY!
From a fan blog (http://www.minaidehazukashii.com/hinano/2008/05/20/newtype-june-2008/):
There were interviews with the staff on the other page. I read bits & pieces and they admitted that the whole thing behind the “late show” is to add some kuchipaku - which is what basically the late show IS. They take recycled animation, and then add made up dialogue to it as a joke. They even listed the differences between late show & normal show for the first 5 eps - and as I had guessed, the eps I didn’t watch all they did was add the kuchipaku and the different episode previews.
And the dubbing is laaaaame...

Ah I thought it was more gory or something too.
Won't bother with it now, thanks.
