Out of all the superhero cartoons ever made, which is the best?

Justice League/Unlimited, hands down.

Definitely Justice League. With the exception of Iron Man and Fantastic Four, everything up there was great as well.

The original X-Men on Fox was the only one I watched religiously. It gets my vote because of that. I tried watching X-Men Evolution, and I just couldn't get into how retarded they made everything.

Batman: The Animated Series, on the virtue that I think it's the only series that got Batman's character 'right'. Granted the episodic nature is abit grating, but I still found it very entertaining.
Of course, I'm still waiting for a DC Animated Series that will star Hal Jordan, but due to his obscurity in the non-comic book fandom, that seems to be a forlorn dream. :(

Imo, Batman: The animated series was the best cartoon I've seen out of the rest since it had a dark atmosphere (like it was supposed to have).
The Batman was alright...but it just didn't feel right after season 2 or something :-(
Justice League was very well made.

I'm leaning towards X-Men, the original one. Maybe Batman.. it's a close call, really. I loved them both.

The short lived 80's version or the 90's version that aired on Fox ?

I'm not surprised since it only lasted one pilot episode in 1989. :notrust I guess it was a good move though. After they tabled it. They started working on a new X-Men series for Fox which came out in 1992.
Here's some screen shots ....
