For some unknown reason, the other ones were trashed and now a final one (hopefully) rises from the ashes like a great phoenix (or some other city in Arizona...for the Smoochy fans). So we're going to do it like this. I don't make many FCs, but when I do, I try to make things interesting...usually with the member list since that's the easiest to be creative with. Basically everyone who joins can request a class related to Disgaea of course (I may allow for classes from Phantom Brave or Makai Kingdom, but I may have to rename the FC to the Nippon Ichi FC if I do that). Keep in mind that this is class and not necessarily rank so don't expect a request to be an overlord to be granted. I will allow for people to eventually request special ranks like that after a certain amount of activity though. Finally certain characters can be requested as your persona after decent activity is acknowledged, but some may be off limits. I may have missed some stuff, so please don't get annoyed by any updates I make to the first post.

Let's go a bit more in depth about the rank system to turn this first post into a tl;dr post. First of all, members will not be able to pick story character representation until after showing good activity here. Until then you start with any of the non story character classes, from the beginning rank. As activity remains good, you will move up in rank (i.e. transmigrated) and eventually be allowed to request a story mode character representation. Keep in mind that if your activity wanes, then your hold on the representation will be lost. Also, good activity doesn't mean spamming or being here every day or being here every hour of the hour. I'm not gonna be an ass about activity, so don't worry too much about that.

I will eventually expand this FC to include other games in the Nippon universe.

I awake to hear my name yelled by one of my masters, just another typical day. Its either cleaning, making food, or doing other dirty work for the demons. All this for low wage pay and no vacation time. I'm getting sick of this life style already, rinse and repeat, day in and day out, its the same stuff. I should go out on an adventure and stick up for all the other prinnies and become a symbol. If I succeeded maybe the higher level demons will respect our duties more.


Master Cup: Pringer J! Where have you been? I ordered you to come to my room a long time ago!


PringerJ: Sorry Cup its just ...

Master Cup: Its Master Cup! Do not call me by me by my short name, you cannot even say my full name "Cupnoodles". Do you understand?


PringerJ: *sheesh*, sorry sir, will not happen again. What did you call me in for?

Master Cup: You are the best prinnie I ever seen. Your fast, cunning, smart, your level 9999, and trustworthy. I have some special work for you to do.

PringerJ: Special Work?

Master Cup: Yes, I never seen skills like yours and you keep growing day by day, I want you to become my assassin. You will keep your name "PringerJ" but when I call you your code name will be PBJ.

PringerJ is intrigued by this offer, and realize he could use this opportunity to get revenge on other demons and make a symbol out of himself and represent all prinnies.

PringerJ: I will gladly accept master cup. However, what does PBJ stand for?

Master Cup: Peanut Butter and Jelly.

PringerJ: You have to be kidding? That's not a stealth assassin code name.

Master Cup: It may be but that's your name fatty! Now no more arguing on the issue.

Master Cup: Your first mission is going to be simple. I want you to gain friendship with some of the highest ranking demons in the netherworld and when you have I wish you to get as much information as you can about there future plans and how much money they have. When you do this, I wish you to kill them.

PringerJ: Who do you wish me to see first?


Master Cup: I want you to join Etna's prinnie squad and see what she's up to. She typically is not this nice to prince laharl and I think there is a motive behind it. I also want you at the same time look after the prince. If you can become his subordinate we will have limitless power and when the time comes he to will need to perish.


PringerJ: Understood, doood.

Master Cup: Dood? Stop with that already or I will kill you.

PringerJ: I cannot help it dood, I been trying this whole time not to say it dood, but is like a broken record with us prinnies, we cannot help but say doood. Sorry Master cup doood.

Er...yeah well Etna would work well, but that's one that's a certain criteria ranking that was requested before I already made the FC which is why Etna, Flonne and Baal, were out. Characters like Adell, Mao and Almaz are also special criteria rankings, but for you I'll allow you to pick from them. Axel, Fubuki and Zenon are also open to you...and you only as a special rank that you don't have to do anything for. I will add Adell to my gif later. I just found an old theme I had and put it here. I need to update it to ad Adell >.<

I...understand almost everything there is to stat optimization, and story sub plots there is to disgaea (I never half ass my fandom, which is why my fan club ownership is rather limited)...unless you're talking just to the other members.

Anyway, yeah I already had you under battle maniac anyway. I figured Demon Hunter seemed boring by comparison...though Prism Black would be funny XD.

I'll do you a favor and let you have the Yukimaru status, but I usually only grant special character classes to people who are active enough, and the co owner, who...has a special class already. Don't expect this title to stay if this is just a drop by and farewell joinage though.

Let me elaborate about the class thing. I didn't really intend to give anyone representing a certain character a special class ranking as well. I was just going to put their class under the character's name. This seems to have failed, so I will be adding the character name and the respective class they are under.

Keep one thing in mind. DON'T tell me the class that the story characters are under. I ALREADY know what classes they are under. Also keep in mind that activity is what is the major factor in special classes. If I see that a member isn't active at all, then say good bye to the special class...well actually don't since you won't really be here anyway >.>. Anyway, yeah, what will be happening from this point all is that we'll issue in the transmigration/reincarnation system. Members will start off as a low rank of a class, and as activity remains constant, they will move up, after some time, they can choose special character representations. I'm thinking of expanding this to more than just Disgaea since nippon ichi games love to cross their universes.


I need a PS3 because Disgaea 3 is coming to the US in August

Yeah the game definitely kicks ass. I love the story for this game, and while Laharl doesn't have the spotlight in this game (he actually plays a smaller role than in 2, if you can even believe that...hell he has a smaller role than even in Makai Kingdom), they don't really fuck him over when you acquire him either. They still make him look rather strong, yet goofy (also keep in mind that he's actually younger than the new main character). When you meet him in another scenerio, one of the funniest events happen in the entire game (though you don't get him this way, you just get an ending).

Well I did make sure to add in the part saying "unless you were talking to the other members"...er...um...anyway moving on, I agree a lot with your point about Laharl. I just find one thing odd. We all know by the end of Disgaea 2 that
Adell is a demon, and he is a 17 year old demon at that. What I don't get is how he appears older than Laharl, who looks like a 13 year old kid. I know they had to trick players into thinking he was a human throughout the game, but when all things are said and done, it kinda messes with things. That is unless he's somehow some different type of humanoid looking demon, and ages differently...or something....just like Rosalin. Same goes for Yukimaru and Fubuki. They are definitely not in the thousands, yet they also look older than Laharl...well Yukimaru less so, but still to a certain extent.

Not all of it sadly :( I am not that good with photoshop or any art program. I can do basic things though, when I get those basic thigns I ask for help on IRC (lovewitches,mura, someone really good with it). I typically have creative ideas and they help me full fill them to 100%. I just have to do some searchin and other stuff before I go to them though. Overall they helped me out in the past with some sigs I could not do.

sounds kinda like how I make my sigs...well I am too stubborn to get help, but I pretty much wing it. I start off with an ultimate idea, and guess work and experiment until I'm able to come up with the end result. That's how these were made

I see. It will definitely be interesting to see how smooth everything plays with the touch screen implementation. I wonder if actual movement of the characters mid battle will work that way too.

I also play them with the Japanese voices exclusively. Actually, I have the third game, so I've played one of them all in Japanese. Laharl's Japanese version laugh is the greatest laugh in the world, though it's a little too gruffy in the third game.

I really liked how it broke down in the final fight you have with him in D2 :laugh. While it was disappointing that they showed him lose in the end, at least there was somewhat of an excuse...not to mention how funny the whole event was anyway. Then there was serious laharl. The one you fight when you actually can't obtain him (when you try to unlock him too soon). He was seriously a total fuckin badass if there ever was one. I seriously never thought he could pull that off. He's a total badass whether you win or lose that fight.

Master Cup: I want you to join Etna's prinnie squad and see what she's up to. She typically is not this nice to prince laharl and I think there is a motive behind it. I also want you at the same time look after the prince. If you can become his subordinate we will have limitless power and when the time comes he to will need to perish.

Master Cup: Dood? Stop with that already or I will kill you.
