That i think was the week of episode 3.

Apparently the new crappy timeslot really affected code geass compared with Season 1.
BUT dont worry, apparently the DVDs pre-orders are as high as ever.

PS:wow gintama is doing good considering it cant even get more than 1 fansub group.

In that case, this guy put the ratings more clear, maybe.
Read the title.

18.2%(19.1%) 04/20 18:30-19:00 CX* Sazae-san. One of Japan’s oldest comics. Most of the top are the really long running series.
13.9%(13.4%) 04/20 18:00-18:30 CX* Chibi Maruko
*8.7%(–.-%) 04/20 *9:30-10:00 CX* One Piece
*8.1%(–.-%) 04/14 19:30-20:00 NTV Detective Conan
*8.0%(*8.3%) 04/20 *9:00-*9:30 CX* QQQ Kitarou
*7.1%(–.-%) 04/14 19:00-19:30 NTV 时间飞船
*6.9%(–.-%) 04/17 19:00-19:30 TX* PokemonーDP
*6.1%(–.-%) 04/17 19:30-19:57 TX* Naruto. People are actually watching the shit?
*5.9%(*5.1%) 04/19 18:00-18:25 ETV Major. Major is awesome and deserves more love in the English community.
*5.4%(*7.5%) 04/20 *8:30-*9:00 EX* Pretty Cure
*5.4%(*5.0%) 04/19 10:00-10:30 TX* KERORO
*4.8%(*4.2%) 04/17 18:00-18:30 TX* Gintama. The Japanese LOVE Gintama, it’s one of the most popular JUMP series. But in the English scene, it’s only the more Japanese-capable bloggers like Moy who enjoy it. The vast majority of the Riuva team love it to bits too.
**.*%(*4.3%) 04/19 *8:30-*9:00 TX* Rockman
*4.7%(*4.2%) 04/19 11:20-11:45 EX* Ashita no Jo
*4.6%(*2.6%) 04/18 16:30-17:00 NTV 去吧!面包人
*4.2%(*4.1%) 04/20 *7:00-*7:30 EX* 古代王者 恐龙国王 翼龙伝説
*3.8%(*5.5%) 04/19 *9:00-*9:30 TX* Blue Dragon
*3.6%(*4.2%) 04/16 19:26-19:55 TX* BLEACH
*3.4%(*4.2%) 04/19 *9:30-10:00 TX* Shugo Chara. It appears that this is the series with the lowest episode number count so far. Proves that to have high ratings, you need to assimilate into the viewing habits of the family, and that takes time. Like 100 episodes. Or 400.
**.*%(*3.4%) 04/20 *8:30-*9:30 TX* 网络幽灵 PIPOPA
**.*%(*3.3%) 04/20 10:00-10:30 TX* Zettai Karen Children.

*2.3%(*2.7%) 04/18 25:55-26:25 TBS Macross FRONTIER . GOT PWNED THERE. The world no longer wants old fashioned Macross. The world wants NARUTO AND ORANGE NINJAS!
*2.3%(*2.4%) 04/14 18:00-18:30 TX* Soul Eater. Bones’ anime never ever do that well on TV it seems.
*2.3%(*2.0%) 04/15 24:59-25:29 NTV RD Sennou Chousa. Actually, 2 percent isn’t that bad if you look at the vast majority of the other anime.
*2.1%(*2.2%) 04/18 26:25-26:55 TBS Itazura no Kiss
**.*%(*2.2%) 04/20 25:45-26:15 TX* Nabari no Ou.

For all we know, a bigger number of non-Elevens are watching R2 more than the Elevens themselves, so those numbers wouldn't matter. :hehee

Elevens are too busy using Refrain to pay attention to whats awesome.

No, but seriously, I'm not that shocked.

I wouldn't say CG would be the most popular of anime, with Shippuuden and whatnot. "Elevens" (Snort), I guess, are looking for more new material.

Well, at least some of them bother to watch the show.

Ratings mean nothing in Japan besides a possible measurement of merchandising potential, DVDs and merchandise still sell well so it doesn't matter. The Blu-Rays are outselling Gundam 00 in the pre-orders.

The US should prioritize its objectives and reallocate military assets towards the invasion of Japan. Someone needs to civilize the Elevens. Someone needs to stop Pretty Cure.

Can we stop calling them Elevens..

Well according to CG lore, Americans are Brittanian's and Japanese are Eleven's. And if CG Universe said that our great Rebellion was stomped, we were made into Brittanian's and now exist in Nobility, I say I will be a Brittanian who renounces his status as a mix between one of Germania's and Hungaria's great Historically and Wealthy Clans that entered into Brittanian Nobility through a marriage of my parents, my Father a Brittanian Noble and my Mother of Hungaraia Nobility.

"I'm pretty much the shit to the Eleven's. So I'll call them Elevens for now. But only until they do something worthwhile. Like make my hero, the Great Zero, their number one rated show. For you see, my adoration for Zero began when he used the Earthquake prevention unit fall during the Black Rebellion. Ever since that grand display of power, I've been entranced by his tactics and unique power. The power to return from death to the peak of power withing your first day." Is what I'd say if this were the case.

But it was put into a spot where there's a lot of other television shows on.

Did you actually expect it to beat the Prince of Tennis re-runs? :lmao

The ratings aren't bad...season 1 didn't produce that number till the middle of the season. And you mentioned another problem right off the bat...the odd time slot. They should have taken Gundam 00's time slot...i'm not sure why they didn't.

Because the doroku timeslot that Gundam 00 had was a dead end slot that had a severe reduction in viewership over the past few years.

Of course i expect the ratings to improve, and all things considered they arent even bad.
DVS sales are beating everybody's so...Not worried, just surprised.

The issue with the timeslot is that is the first time that they air anime at that time, in like forever(30 years).
It was a pretty big risk they took putting CG there.

Is taking the timeslot of like a news show.

Because the doroku timeslot that Gundam 00 had was a dead end slot that had a severe reduction in viewership over the past few years.
But gundam 00 did pretty decent in ratings. I dont have the exact numbers but its pretty close to shows like naruto, gintama. Like 5-6%.
Even still, they could have put CG on a tested timeslot instead of experimenting with shit.
That is what i found was weird.

EDIT:Apparently they say that MBS an TBS moved the timeslot, so it was beyond sunrise decision.

I don't think it's DVD sales are really "beating" everybody else. Last I heard, Rebuild of Evangelion: 1.0 sold over 200,000 copies in just one week. And if I'm not mistaken, CG peaked out at near 60,000-70,000. Also I hear that Macross beat it in terms of pre-order.
