Slam Dunk is my #3 favorite manga of all time. It's just aboslutely great. The manga is much much better than the anime though but the anime is still very good.

It would've been great if they had shown the Inter HIgh Tournament in the aniem though, the match against Sannoh was the best part in the series IMO.

Dear Boys' drawing was getting worse towards the end... but it's nice on the overall. let's hope there's a second season

Slam Dunk is great! It is very funny and very exciting!! I think I saw all the anime episodes, but it looks like that it doesn't end... It ends in the middle of the game...

Also, I read the manga, and it's great too, but i haven't finished yet...

Believe it or not, Slam Dunk is the only anime that is so commercialized here in our country that even basketball enthusiasts and adults watch it. Well, maybe in other places, too.

Who says anything animated is for kids only? HA! :D

At present, we're watching the re-runs in a local network, and hopefully the OVAs as well.

Ah...and I kept on loving it till the end, I just read the end of the manga

:cry...so sad dammit... but I felt it had much more room for progress in the manga after that game, its like Inoue was rushing to end it so he can start something else, which is sadder than the ending:cry

I love Slam Dunk, the music, the art style, and the characters. I bought as many raw mangas I could find, soundtracks, and any artbooks. I never watched the whole anime though, I only got up to episode 50ish then I ran out reliable of places to download them from. :( Oh well.

the art style i certainly like. plus the humor is good. the characters are just alot more realistic than those of other animes. also an avid fan of Kaede Rukawa.
