Among the battle of the Shinjuku ghetto was Kallen,a student at the Ashford Academy.Lelouch maneuvers the terrorist so they can escape the Britannian forces. He uses the Geass and steals the Knightmare from Villeta,a britannian soldier. He pliots the Knightmare and moves the terrorist as if they were chess peices.It was his first battle,but Lelouch was curtain he could win.

And Ichigo is actually improving in this episode...

Liam, while different, is pretty fucking awesome as Lloyd. Its odd enough a voice that it fits the character quite nicely.

The Zero voice just doesn't do it for me. It should be deeper/darker than it is right now. There's just too little differentiation between Lelouch and Zero when there should be a lot. The evil laugh, now that was done well. Other than those complaints I thought it was fine.

lmao a lot of people complain he isn't deep enough. You sure are an odd one. JYB got better in this episode and I expect he will get use to his role completely. I look forward to see how he handles Zero. Yuri did a good job as Suzaku and Liam was perfect for Lloyd likewise of Viletta VA. Kallen still needs some work, but I wonder how she handles her school persona.

I have to say, the Lancelot power up scene was seriously fantastic. I got shivers.

I like Cecile's VA. The Shirley one isn't quite up to par ...I hope she can do 12-14 ok. Lelouch still isn't quite right. Bosch needs to go Renton on us and produce something we've never heard from him before. Guess it's too late though and he's doing the best he can with his normal range.

Also lol at Orange ejecting. I laughed hard.

Thought it was ok overall. The whole chess shtick between Clovis and Lelouch needed a lot of work. It makes me appreciate the Japanese stuff, that's for sure. And why don't they have previews for the next episode :/

I wasn't pleased with Kallen's voice at all. It was higher pitched and more scratchy than I would've preferred. Her battle cry was horrible.

I'm still a bit iffy on Lulu's VA. I think Chris Patton could've nailed this character better since it's more darker and deep, much like Lelouch's character. But I do applaud Bosch for nailing his laugh. I can't wait for episode four with that fangirlish scream of his.

Everyone else has my approval. Lowenthal needs to avoid making his voice so low.

This was the first episode of Code Geass I watched, and I was slightly disapointed.
Code Geass is good, but, I wont obsesse over it and I hope it will grow on me.

I think it has a good story but, some things were confusing. Overall it is a pretty good anime and I think it has room for improvment.

oh god. 5 seconds of hearing the narrator (i assume is C.C.) i already don't like it. Which is sad, because I was hoping (due to the fact they are supposed to be speaking English) that it wouldn't sound like shit, and then maybe normal people might watch it.

Lelouch doesn't make it at all. In Japanese his voice sounds, how can I say it, kind of Evil, which doesn't happen at all in engish. Instead of a voice of a weak intelligent supervillian, you get the voice that you might expect from a tough guy, which lelouch just isn't.

Can anyone tell the difference between JYB's Lelouch and Zero voice's? Because I seriously can't. The sound the same to me.

Kallen's voice was terrible as well as Tamaki's.
