Me and Mihawk were speculating about how BB said his fruit is the most evil fruit and that nobody will be able to stop him with it. Well I was thinking, if there is a dark fruit, there must be a LIGHT fruit!! Light is the most important form of energy. And while Darkness is Evil, Light is GOOD!! So I was thinking since BB thinks he is unstoppable, the way to counter him is LIGHT!!! But the thing is, who can have the light fruit? Mihawk speculated Sengoku. Discuss my little east blue pirates.

i was thinking in the old days about the light fruit and i remembered that the DF sometimes goes with the character in OP,for example aokiji is chillin and is always cool!!:laugh

so i thought that light=enlightment so a character somehow enlighted would have it,so i thought of 2 men,bartholomew kuma who is always reading the bible and sengoku the budha

now what kuma aint a candidate anymore i think light=enlightment=buhda might happen,though its a just a theory

though i told to dragon that the yami yami no mi is the most wicked,not the strongest and WB is stronger without a DF and luffy with a paramecia will kick his ass,so its not destined for the man who has the light fruit (if it exists) to fight BB

No I don't think there's going to be light fruit. If the story goes how I think and Blackbeard takes over the One Piece world after taking down whitebeard etc. Then Luffy will have to be the one to fight him so I don't see him eating two Df's. But who knows maybe some admiral has a light no mi :P

Ace's fruit in itself had nothing to do with light. Light was just a by-product of it. Same as Enel's really. The theme of Kuma's fruit actually has something to do with light. It's even more of a counter-fruit to Darkness since BB says darkness sucks things in and Kuma repels things.

I was thinking along the lines of his fruit being fire and representing the Sun both of witch are heavily linked to mans idea of light. I agree that Kuma's DF ability is the opposite of BB's, but it doesn't represent light at all really.

You should know that im talking about a whole different kind of light. Im talking Holy light. Like in Zelda games, Link had the fire arrow, Light arrow, ice arrow. They are different. Ganon was darkness and the light arrow countered him. I can see ODA using the same method of Light>Dark.

i have a theory on BB's power. I was watching DBZ once it was a Buu saga. before they get to Babidee's lair, Goku, gohan & vegeta must fight 3 diff. opponents. 1 of w/c is a light sucker w/c goku beat by letting him "eat" all his ki till he blows up from too much eating. I think BB also has limit on him "sucking". Besyds, he's still a human. any thoughts?

As amekage stated, it's a Devil fruit, holy light DFs or any of the kind just don't exist. Besides Ace was the closest thing to light with his Sun.

I think some of you are taking the "devil" in Devil Fruit too literally. I think the main idea about the devil in the title is that the fruit gives the person who eats it supernatural abilities, not that qualities of purity (what light represents) can't be received from them...unless rubber is the work of the devil.

And the fact that those who eat it are "cursed" with the hatred of the sea in a very sea-oriented world may have something to do with it too.

That being said, I think it is highly possible that a Light fruit is somewhere out there.
