At the end of the series, what role will Suzaku play?

It would be a total cop out since the whole series has been about them both trying to achieve the same goal by different means but I think Suzaku and Lelouch may join forces at the very end. It has been said a couple of times that there is nothing they cannot accomplish together. I think it will take the both of them working together to defeat Charles.

No one said anything about them being friends :P . Friend and ally aren't necressarilly the same thing, after all. Suzaku might well ally with Lelouch if he thought it benefited his cause... But you're right, they shouldn't be friends again, IMO. Personally I'm going to hope he ends up dead and that if he "allies" with Lelouch, he's going to do so by sacrifing his life :pleased .

Suzaku will become Emperor of Britannia by the time the series ends. I have always sort of felt that tone from the series. The Suzaku's way was the one the writer's would choose to go with. I see nothing at this point to indicate otherwise.

The likelihood of Suzaku deflecting to Lelouch's side is close to zero, considering the entire little Euphie scandal. However, if you take into account that the Emperor is 150% evil and that C.C. can speak with the dead...umm...too many variables...

There is actually a pretty good chance that Suzaku will round up as Lelouch's ally during...say...the final 10 minutes of the last episode of R2.

Haha, well, the Zechs alternative it is then XD. It's possible that in the end he realizes that the emperor's empire is not that the world needs and thus briefly assists Lelouch in bringing him dowen - sort alike "I hate you with all my heart, but we'll lay our differences aside until the bigger threat is taken down"...

Them allying with each other again would be interesting but I don't see it happening anymore. I see them as bitter enemies to the end unless Lelouch's BS dream about his friends ends up coming true. >_>

Evidently Lelouch still consider Suzaku one of his most trusted friends despite being his enemy. Most likely Suzaku still feel the same regardless of the Euphie incident. It will ultimately depend on what happens toward the end. Especially if Lelouch wish comes true which I think it will happen. He at least deserve a happy ending.

I think they'll end up as allies. I can't see Suzaku staying with Charles all the way through. They just don't seem to go together. So, kinda like the "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of thing, I think they'll team up against Charles.

Although that's what I think will happen, it'd be nice if it stays the way it is now, with them being rivals.
