Well, this is for european football leagues not called Premier League, Calcio or Liga, lol. So discuss.

Zenit St.Petersburg is failing in the new Russian League´s season! It goes 10th after 10 matches!

Bayern will win the Bundesliga.
Who do you think will come 2nd?

El Torero

I´ll bet Werder Bremen. Unfortunately for them, Diego will leave them and go to Real Madrid next season.

Ey guys, there is a very interesting thing in Ligue 1. PSG is in serious danger of relegation! They´re in fact in relegation zone. Do you imagine PSG being relegated to Second Division? :omg

They are very likely gonna go down and to think that they were in CL contention 2-3 years ago.

Rangers have got a ridiculous schedule ahead of them next month.

SPL better learn from this for next year.
They already split the table in SPL even though Rangers didn't reach 33 games.
They played only 32 games.

I want Olympiakos winning a CL. But that would have been easier in earlier years, when only 1 team for each country participated in the CL.

Mihawk, is true that Panathinaikos reached a final of the CL? :zaru

I'm really worried about Rosenborg in the Norwegian Tippeliga... They used to own everyone (13 consecutive championships), but now they're really out of shape...:arg
Well, at least the team from my hometown (Aalesund) is doing great :grin Hoping for a great game on Sunday :grin

Ey Even, how are things in the current Norwish League?

Who is leading for the moment?

And anybody knows how are things in Sweden League? I´m interested in Goteborg.

sarun uchiha

I think Rosenborg featured in like 90% of Champions League group stages past 6 years.

And Girondins Bourdeaux are now only 2 points below Lyon. Come on Girondins! :cry

El Torero

I´m crossing the fingers and hope Lyon to screw their last 2 matches, and Girondins winning both matches.

Girondins, you must finish Lyon´s dinasty :yell

Ey guys!

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e8/CFR_Cluj.png

You're going to see this team in next Champions League. CFR Cluj, the team of Transilvania, winners of the Romanian League for first time in their lifes :zaru (and first time in more than 20 years that the romanian league isn't won by a Bucarest team lol)

CFR Cluj and Zenit St.Petersburg, two awesome newbies in next CL group stage :gar

Corruption in Oporto. Porto have 6 points sustracted and their president inhabilited. And Boavista is relegated to 2º Division (http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=690195)

I´m happy of that bastards that eliminated Malaga in penalties in the Top-8 of that UEFA Cup of 2002 are relegated :del

How does the Russian and Romanian team get automatic qualification to CL group stages?

El Torero
05-10-2008, 04:58 AM
'Cause their leagues are in the Top-10 of UEFA Coeficient. So Zenit and CFR Cluj will be in next CL group stage.

Could you post what all countries are eligible like that?

You canw atch that here :zaru (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Champions_League_2008-09)

But one advice: the stuff will change in 2009, so next season will be last CL season with the current format.

Today at 20.50, the Ligue 1 will finish. Auxerre-Lyon and Lens-Girondins will be the matches that will decide the champion. Interesting too the Sochaux-Paris SG. Paris can become the only europeal chapital with no team in the 1st division of their country.

And tomorrow two big matches:
-Porto vs Sporting Lisbon: final of the Portuguese Cup.
-Ajax vs Twente: the winner will play in next CL.

Today was Oliver Kahn's last game of his career

http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/7234/kahnyi1.jpg

This guy was one of the best and craziest goalkeepers ever, his Mike Tyson like ear-biting attacks and kung-fu-kicks will be missed;)

We'll never forget ya, man^^

El Torero

Man, Kahn is the best goalkeeper I´ve seen in last 20 years: better than Buffon in my opinion.

Lyon won the Ligue 1, with them winning and Girondins failing in the last moment, Olympique Marseille finished 3rd, and PSG miraclously and fortunately survived.

And I wonder...what happened with Monaco?

Commander Red
05-17-2008, 08:23 PM
I considered Oliver Kahn as the German Equivalent of Edwin van der Sar, their style looked kinda similair... Sadly, Kahn has retired. What a great keeper he was.

CFR, is that railroad company?
