I don't remember Nunnally mentioning Schneizel, let alone revealing that someone actually managed to outsmart Lelouch... When did she say the above?

Also, since Schneizel is the 2nd prince, is the unimportant guy Schneizel spoke to at the end of S1 (when he said he'd go and help Cornelia) the 1st prince?

Nunnally mentioned this in one of her first apperances, when she and Lelouch were discussing the fact that he went of often to play chess. I do believe that Odysseus (I think that was his name) is the 1st prince, but I can't guarantee it without actually checking the actual episode. (can't do that while at work)

With Schneizel most likely going to be the next governor of Area 11 (most likely bringing Suzaku with him), I'll be looking forward to their upcoming confrontation even more now I know he's the only person who's been able to beat Lelouch in a head to head IQ battle.

Yeah..it seem that Nunnally's word was foreshadow about the coming battle between Schneizel and Lulu...I guess Schneizel is the main reason for Lulu to experience another lost in S2..Just like Cornelia did in S1 as well.

It seem everything in S2 isnt at Lulu favor at all...He have to deal with those powerful Knight of Round, Geass user, Britannia Army, Chinese Federation,Nunnaly as Hostage and Schneizel and Emperor alone...Those Black Knight arent much help either since they pretty much useless without lulu...If Lulu cant beat Schneizel in mind game, none of Black Knight can...Even worst, Most of Britinian probably knew about Lulu's identity and his Geass.

I really want to know how Lulu going to win these battle.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. The eventual showdown between the two is going to be all kinds of epic, and is one I look forward to even more than the eventual showdown between Lelouch and Charles, or Lelouch and Suzaku.

Schneizel has never appeared to be smarter than Lelouch. It's obvious he's cunning, playing the nice guy when he really wants to rule the world, but his actions thus far haven't shown him to be a strategic genius.. I mean, his army was losing against the Europeans in EP3.

It's obvious Lelouch will win against him in the end: He needs to geass him to find out what happened to his mother. I do think Schneizel will make Lelouch taste defeat once more before Lelouch's inevitable victory, though - S2 is a repeat of S1 and we all know Cornelia won against Lelouch once.

Because he knew that all strategy or tactic is medicore in front of Suzaku...Suzaku just spinkick anything away which it is more effective than planning a strategy..Schneizel knew it and he knew that Suzaku is on the way coming..so why bother? :nuts

Of course, Lelouch is their bait to draw out C.C. If they go publci with his identity then the massive public opinion would force them to execute him least the public causes a rebellion since they spared the leader of the terrorists, who would be no less then one of the royal family as well! Just think of the scandal it would be if the publci get to know about it.

Also if they kill Lelouch they wouldn't be able to catch C.C anymore. :zaru

I'm hoping for a brief flashback to their past before Lelouch kills him, showing them playing chess or whatever when they were kids.

It's a shame Sunrise never attempted to add emotion to the murder of Clovis, Euphemia and Cornelia by showing Lelouch and them playing together in the past - Seeing them together as kids/when they were younger would've made their deaths much more powerful. I'll forgive Sunrise if they're planning to dedicate an entire episode to Lelouch's past when the the story is focused on Marianne.

His way of considering the persons is different from what we have seen so far with Britannian nobility.
He was glad for Suzaku to have reached a high social status in episode 3 contrary to his britannian subordinates. Or he didn't consider Cecile's offensive argument about the suicidal mission(episode 19) as insubordination.
All in all, I love Schneizel because he doesn't use his Imperial status as an excuse to be mean with other people.

He was very shocked by the bloodshed that was caused during the SAZ creation, and he was the one to go help Cornelia during the Tokyo WAR.

I've always liked Schnizel. He's like a combination of Euphemia, Cornelia and Lelouch.
He has Euphie' heart and Cornelia and Lelouch' shrewdness.

I hope to see more of him... frankly, he's the only reason why I actually downloaded and watched ep. 3. Of course, only the part he appeared in and Suzaku's, to see the fight.

He is 30, Lelouch is 18 as of S2. There's a 12 year age difference, which means when Lelouch got banished at age 10 Schneizel was 22. And Odysseus is still older than him...

Wonder if any of Charles' children were older than his wife Marianne?
