As before just rate it out of 10 how you thought it went. Obviously now we've had 3 episodes it should be easier to rate then.

It was interesting but a mostly school time + transition episode. >________>

I'd have given it a 7 had I not seen the spoiler :sag

I rated it an eight. Some solid character presentation, a bit of action and some scheming. It wasn't a "WHOAH ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOO" episode though. It was the kind of episode that happens before a "WHOAH ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOO" episode.

It didn't have that epic feel that the first 2 episodes had. I don't know about you guys, but it felt a lot like DN how Lelouch was timing everything to the second. Though we did get to see Rollo's geass in action, that was pretty spiffy.

I'll give it a 7. A nice episode, through it sort of annoys me that they've all been brainwashed, because it is as if nothing happened in the first place, bah... Personally I'm longing for the day (if it ever comes) when the student council becomes aware of that Lelouch is Zero.. <_<.

I'll give it an eight. It had some revalations of the secret service and showed us Rollo's powers in "real time". There was also the funny towel scene's and Lulu pwning everyone in cooking. We had a scheme, too. So overall very good.

Favorite Characters in this Episode: Karen and CC. Both very outstanding, but together even more so XD!

7, Rivalz and Shirley annoy the hell out of me. Rollo made up for it tho

7, though I'd give 7.5 if there were such an episode

Ashford episodes are fun, but they're still Ashford episodes. I hope there's a lot less focus on the place this season.

It's kinda weird how Rollo has become one of my favorite characters with Lelouch, Zino, Anya, and Orange.

He's already killed two guys and has a gun pointed at Zero.

8/10. The story's pretty much a carbon copy of the first season with a few twists and changes, but overall it was an enjoyable episode.

Awesome ending and Rollos Geass slow mo was cool.

But Ashford sucks >(

how is this episode a copy?

seriously

Well, it had the same basic premise.

Season 1 Episode 3 - Lelouch returns to Ashford after gaining his powers and defeating Britannia and works to cover up his true identity from someone who suspects him (Kallen)

Season 2 Episode 3 - Lelouch returns to Ashford after gaining his powers and defeating Britannia and works to cover up his true identity from someone who suspects him (Rollo and those Britannian agents)

Now obviously the whole thing went down much differently (though we got a Kallen shower scene in both :nod), but you can certainly see the parallel. Next episode looks to be sorta the same (hostage situation... just like season 1 episode 4). I don't mind the parallels that much, though I do hope the show branches out sooner rather than later.

7/10, worst episode so far. I suppose it's not surprising when this has been the first episode that hasn't been a repeat...

It started in an extremely anti-climatic manner - Rollo receiving a phone call from Lelouch, right when he was about to use his geass. This was followed by no explanation being given about how Lelouch used geass on the ambassador (how did Lelouch get to him without any of the other Chinese noticing?), switched with C.C. and got back to Ashford in a matter of minutes. The end aside, the rest of the episode seemed like filler.

Lelouch returned to Ashford, the writers using his fears for the safety of Nunnally as his reasoning for doing so, and much of the episode was spent with the Ashford gang doing nothing of interest.

Rollo was busy switching between running around Ashford like a headless chicken and reporting to Viletta, who without explanation has somehow gotten herself many promotions after being demoted in the previous series. In a nutshell, the special team Charlie sent in couldn't decide if Lelouch has returned to being Zero or if the new Zero is an imposter, so they're keeping up their observation in case he hasn't regained his memories and C.C. attempts to contact him.

Speaking of C.C., she offered Lelouch the most lame way of getting around his permanent geass - A 'special' contact lens. Why didn't see give it him as soon as his geass became permanent? The writers obviously hadn't planned for the return of filler school at that point, where they made a big deal of his permanent geass, making C.C. give a speech about her being the only one who will be left beside him.

Everyone's favourite character spinner, Suzaku, also made his usual short appearance. Just when the Europeans were celebrating their victory against Snigger, Suzaka appeared out of nowhere and owned a stupid amount of mechas on his own. I don't quite see the point in Britannia bothering sending anything else if 1x Lancelot can destroy an entire army...

Anyway, moving back to Lelouch: Lelouch decided to go for some Shirley action and take her shopping after hearing about the execution of 264 of his troops. To cut a boring story short, this resulted in Lelouch ending up alone with Rollo, Lelouch tried to geass him and ended up getting his own gun turned on him after Rollo used his ability to stop time.

At the same time, Xinghe decided to destroy the Black Knights on his own...with a sword, most likely after being informed that the ambassador had been replaced. I predict much running on walls in the next episode.

The episode was saved by the end. Apart from the announcement about the imprisoned Black Knights forces being executed tomorrow (in the CG world, obviously), there was very little good and certainly nothing epic about the episode.

In a strange way, the worst thing about the episode is how predictable the next few episodes are going to be as a result of Lelouch re-attending filler school: Suzaku will be sent in to test if Lelouch has returned to being Zero. Lelouch shouldn't even know who Suzaku is since his memories were erased, so it'll be the ultimate test for him to be put face to face with Suzaku on a daily basis...again.

Solid 8.

Rollo has redeemed himself in this episode. :iria

A lot of questions answered for me, and I like the C.C./Kallen interactions. But Rollo is the one who really made this episode great for me.

I gave it an 8...I really enjoyed the ep overall. Lelouch scheming kept the ep entertaining even though the majority took place at the school. And Rollo ended up not being as big of a douche as I first believed. As some people have said this episode had a big death note vibe with Lelouch planning everything out as he did. The only thing I found really stupid in this ep was Suzaku owning the whole EU army by himself. Why is Britannia at war with these nubs if they can send 1 mecha in to own an entire army :mad. I swear 90% of the time Suzaku shows his face in this anime it declines the quality of the episode.

Ah, I see. :)

I'm not really one for discussing; I prefer to simply get all my thoughts about an episode out in one post. I'll probably be doing it for every episode of Code Geass...until I get too pissed with it to do so, that is.

Btw, how come you're posting here if you aren't watching the series? A bit bizarre.

It pisses people off even more when I actually say something. XD

Really, if I actually watched the series, you'd never hear me stop complaining about it. You all should feel happy I wander your threads in blissful ignorance as the local village idiot, rather than a self-righteous fool who has an entirely too high a regard for his own opinions, and all the time he needs to make sure everyone knows what they are. :kukuku

It was a good episode, I enjoyed it.

Rollo is shaping up nicely, and it seems there's a lot more to him than it seemed. It'll be interesting to see where he'll end up. His Geass is also pretty damn cool, I thought it would be timestop but I was getting doubts because it's too much hax basically. They need to explain the workings more in the future.

Lelouch is also heading in the right direction, with his inner conflicts still apparent. He's definitely not gone insane yet, which is a good thing because I don't want to see him dying at the end of this.

The ending of the episode was simply great. I'm glad I didn't get spoiled. Not only has the The Chinese Federation turned on the Black Knights, but the prisoners are up for execution and Zero seems to be trapped.

I give it an 8; a nice transitional episode. I look forward to the next.

Having said that, I've been relegated to using Veoh to watch Code Geass, which really sucks as the quality is obviously lower. And now I'm off to sleep.

so far I am not feeling this. The whole season feels like it's trying to be the first and have the same epicness if it were. It just isn't the same. It feels boring and drawn out. I will still watch.

A solid eight from me. A plausible reason for Lelouch to return to Ashford, Rollo character development, humour scenes with Kallen's towel and the Ashford Iron Chef moment, suspense due to Gilford, Li and Rollo...

I loved it, and the next episode should be even better.

10/10 for me.

I enjoyed this episode...and Zero actually love doing house keeping? What a twist!

I just love how Lulu deceived everyone from the school easily...I guess he is natural born-actor...His acting skills is just too good.

About Rollo, his geass is overpowered..It just surprise that he didnt one-shot Lulu durng the time-stop.

.now to find out wat will happen next ep

*Rollo's cellphone beeps* "Oh, sorry, niisan, I got to take this even though I'm about to kill you. Again."

...The main character can't die due until the end and they aren't going to kill off Rollo after 5 minutes. These cliffhangers just aren't very exciting at this stage of the series due to the viewer knowing no-one important is going to die... It'd be different if the scene had taken place towards the end of the series.

Instead of worrying about making the end of the episodes thrilling, it would've been nice if they'd put effort into the rest of the episodes and not recycled S1. Predictable cliffhangers every episode to keep the viewers coming back and repeated content; that's S2 so far in nutshell.

There's a lot going on here. We return to Ashford Academy, which is fun. It was nice to see some old favorites again. And Lelouch/Shirley interaction is always quite fun, as well.

And of course, Rollo being revealed to be a complete bastard, as well as having possibly the most broken Geass yet.

You have to remember that this is very early in the series, so we will be expecting alot better episodes further on. Thus you are now limiting the episodes in ratings.

7/10. Rollo's Geass power is kickass despite him still being a fag. :pek

Ashford filler was agonizing with the C.C. and Kallen bits being nice. Best part was the moments leading to the cliffhanger, black knights getting attacked, and Britannia's ultimatum.
