View Full Version : The end
ITT: Predictions and discussion of the end of Code Geass.
I myself think Lelouch will succeed, however, being a sad and lonely king, pretty much killing everyone that meant something to him.

If Nunnally lives: Lelouch will live. He might end up falling at the last hurdle in his bid to takeover the world, but he'll live.
If Nunnally dies: Lelouch will die in a similar way to Light; revered as a God in death by the people his actions freed when he was actually a devil. I still think the Black Knights will win, I just think he'll die during the final battle.

BUNNY SUIT C.C.!?!?:nuts
I think the writers are going to have him succeed, just not in the way we think. This series is going to have an LOL GAINAX end just wait.
I'd also say: Yay black knights + freedom for japan, but some important people, maybe lulu himself, will die.

Suzaku and Lelouch one-on-one.
Please, Sunrise, give it to me.
These two just fighting and kicking each other's asses in a mecha/fist fight would be awesome. Even if Lelouch sucks at fighting, I want to see a fucking one-on-one fight to end it.
C.C., being a witch, enhances Lelouch's physical abilities, making him stand on equal grounds with Suzaku, lol.

Lulu vs. Suzu matrix kung fu fight? LOL

That would be good.
I just wanna see an epic showdown at the end.

I just hope that Kallen doesn't die.:ano

She probably won't.
I see a lot of the Knights dying and a lot of the Order dying.
I just want the Emperor to die and just leave it up to Lelouch and Suzaku. Those two both holding guns again, or they just go insane in mecha or something and fight. I don't want them to be friends again.
I want a total epic battle that makes the world shake.

I hope Kallen will survive too, and I think she will. But I wouldn't be surprised with C.C dieing
Kallen somehow emits the "omg I'm gonna sacrifice myself for zero" aura, at least to me. So she MIGHT die in the end :-(
Suzaku kills himself for Zero's sake would be the most anticipated ending ever. :LOS

The Order will succeed, though there will probably be huge sacrifices. Some main characters dying towards the end wouldn't surprise me. Perhaps a C.C. and Kallen sacrifice so Lelouch can live in his "safe" world with Nunally.

But why would he do that? He already pretty much asshole'd on Lulu.

Yeah, Suzaku turning to Mr. Nice Guy would just be horrible. He's a total douchebag now. He is redeeming himself slightly.
Suzaku vs. Lelouch in a total battle after Suzaku kills C.C.

Yeah, I agree. The last showdown should be between Lelouch and Suzaku.
But can C.C. die unless she gets Kame Hame Ha'd?
Shiraishi
04-19-2008, 07:53 PM
Rollo, C.C, Li, ect should all be dead or fighting other people.
I would really love to see Suzaku be a total douchebag and kill Kallen or C.C. He would take revenge for Lelouch taking his love.

Ragnarok people, it'll be an epic final battle. :nod
If Lelouch represents Fenrir, he'll certainly dies at the end but will kill his father Charles (Odin).
But why would he do that? He already pretty much asshole'd on Lulu.
For Suzaku haters to rejoice all around the globe. :LOS

No, if Lelouch represented Fenrir, he'd be sitting around on his ass, shackled, for most of the series.

I think - or rather hope - that Lelouch will succeed in the end at the very least. If he survives or not... Who knows, though it's most likely that he dies in the end. If he survives, then I see him either become a lonely, sad king as xpto said n(and C.C. sort of said that this would bbe a consequence of getting th eking's power) or he'll simply fade away into society, with some grand promise to return should danger threathen or injusticce once more rule... :laugh

Why assume that the Black Knights are the "evil" side anyway? If anything, I'd rather say that the black knights represent the Ęsir - and if so Lelouch would be more likely to be Odin, because Odin was apparently a VERY good chess player, just like Lelouch, as well as a master tactican/strategist - and then there's the eye as well, sorta...

Out of the main characters...
Who I think will die: Lelouch (maybe), Suzaku, C.C. (or at least disappear), Rollo
Who I think will live: Kallen, Nunnally, Li Xingke

Then it definiently won't be Lulu. Wise-Ludu hovers too close to a Jesus-persona, which is the polar-opposite of what they seem to going for with his character.

The Black Knights will succed,Japan will gain it's freedom Britannia, all these are of a given, but Lelouch himself might die in the final battle, due to his Geass going out of control,or maybe sacrificing himself to save someone else.

I agree Lelouch takes some traits from Odin, but I wasn't talking about the "evil" side aspect but more about his life. He shares a lot with Fenrir.
Fenrir was cast away because the gods feared him.
They created the monster that will slay Odin later during the Ragnarok by chaining him with Gleipnir. He grew with hatred and revenge, and took part of the Ragnarok when he had enough power to break the chain.
Lelouch's geass gives him power to finally fight against Britannia. He also focuses a lot about his revenge against his father and the Imperial family.
'Nother possiblity: At the end, Lelouch loses his Geass. The OBK succeeds but Lelouch disappears into the crowd of the world as he once was: a simple nobody.

Good points, especially (in a sense) that about the chain (one could argue that in the recent events Lelouch was held prisoner by the chain called false memories, I guess), but I really do wonder... Plus, Fenrir was not the son of Odin as Lelouch is the son of the emperor, but rather the son of Loki the trickster. But that part could easily be solved by having it revealed at some point that the emperor is not Lelouch's father, I guess. Oh well, it isn't like they seem to be planning (or even has to) to follow the story all that accurately.
Though on that note, if we were to try and figure out who from Code geass is supposed to represent who from the tales of the Æsir, then I wonder who Suzaku would be then. Balder, perhaps? <_<. Or perhaps Vidar, Odin's son, who slays Fenrir after Fenrir has killed his father? (nah, that'd probably be Schneizel).
