Probably my favorite aspect of Codo Geasu is Clamp's win with the character design. The vibrant, somewhat original characters really set CG apart from the rank and file of gundam knockoff mecha series.

The irony is Lelouch is turning into a reverse character. We saw from the first episode when he kissed CC and became himself again and once again became Zero, Zero is his true self. Lelouch is the mask he wears to fit into normal society. But his true self, when he is most free is as Zero. Thats one of the many reasons I love the character.

Alright, here we go:

1. Cornelia li Brittania: I love strong women who have their shit together. Cornelia is brutal, but she's fair. She doesn't crush elevens under her boot because she hates them - this is made obvious when she knighted Suzaku and even allowed him to pilot Lancelot in the first place - but because she thinks she needs to be brutal to control Brittania's colonies.
Her only weakness was Euphie, and when she comes back, she's going to be after Zero with a righteous fury.

2. Kallen Stadtfeld: Probably a large part of why I like Kallen, unlike Cornelia, is because she's hot. Electric volcano hot. But besides that, she's another strong girl, and a Knightmare pilot besides. She needs to stop being Zero's bitch tho.

3. Lloyd Asplund: This guy is jokes.

4. Schneizel El Britannia: Like Cornelia, hot, competent, fair, and in charge. Unlike Cornelia, lacks breasts. So he gets number 4.

5. Kyoshiro Todo: I like the samurai persona. Dude kicks ass.

1. Cornelia Li Britannia

She's the main vision of my ideal woman. Breathtaking gorgeous, incredibly strong and beaming with a balance of intelligence, integrity, and understanding. Unlike most Britannians she doesn't go out of her way to hate the Japanese nor spit on their faces to flaunt her superiority. Under the circumstances she's much more fair than a Princess is expected to be but she doesn't allow so much as an inch to be taken against her either. The only time she lost herself was with the death of Euphie and I can understand why she was in that state for so long. Now that her dear sister is gone she really has no weaknesses left (unless Lelouch and Nunnally are also weaknesses to her). Needless to say, when she returns in R2, shit is going to be turned up and breaking up fans and so the Black Knights will have a huge problem on their hands.

What can I say about this guy that isn't already known? He's just freaking awesome whether as himself or Zero.

2. Lakshata Chawl

An extremely beautiful, seductive, and intelligent woman who's entire existence is screams exoticness. Her sense of humor is the best within the entire series and her laugh is heavenly.

3. Euphemia Li Britannia

She was one of the most cheerful and uplifting characters I encountered in a long time. She was absolutely adorable and always brought a smile to my face when she was on-screen. If there was ever a character I missed dearly and wanted to be revived, it would be and is Euphie.

Lovely and mysterious woman. She's one of the few characters that I'm dying to see expand upon.

I think there is a good chance Suzaku will succeed before this series ends, but I also think that he doesn't get off the ground with his ideals if not for Lelouch.

That pretty much sums up how I feel. Lelouch and Suzaku are no different from each other like some try to make it seem to be. Lelouch/Zero any day for me :nod . He's such a fascinating character; he knows that in fightning Britannia he must (as the swedish saying goes) use hard against hard; half.assed mesured won't work. In doing so he uses unconventional methods, which in some regards even makes him similar to his enemies. Despite this he doesn't grow more corrupted as time pass, still keeping his human heart, his care for those closest to him (especially his sister), often questions himself in regards of his methods and goal and mourns at those times when he makes a mistake that someone else suffers for. And of coruse, he's rather when being Zero (at those times he's clsoe to being engimatic in a funny way XD ). One can only hope that he won't be going downhill as the story progress, turning into exactly the thing he hates...

Lelouch Vi Britannia is definetly my favorite character for many reasons. He has beauty,brains,a sense of humor,and a nice voice. His intellect is very nice,and is overall persona is really nice.

1. Definitely Lelouch, the show is nothing without him, his Lelouch persona as well as his Zero persona (plus the extra persona he has in front of his friends). I also think its pretty cool that he sucks ass at piloting Knightmare frames (and anything else physical) lol a nice contrast to his superhuman intellect. But generally I just like super smart characters and Lelouch is just win.

2. Charles di Brittania. Seriously I can't believe no one's mentioned him. He is the definition of badass.Since back in episode 20 sth when Euphie was busy killing off Elevens and he was standing there laughing his ass off he's been one of my favourites. Plus I have a thing for evil overlord type characters (Lord Genome anyone?)

3. C.C. Her interactions with Lelouch are pretty great and she's all mysterious and ish. She's one of those people that's around but always seems to be outside of things. Marching to the beat of her own drum and all that.

4. Lloyd. Who doesn't love this guy? Quirky scientist types ftw.

5. Kallen. What is there to say that hasn't been said? Plus the fact that she pilots the Guren Ni-shiki (coolest mech in the series). She does need to ease off on the zero-worship though.

Definitely Lloyd Asplund.

Not only do I find his character to be wildly amusing and rather endearingly eccentric, but there's also a slight sadness to his pursuit of the perfect machine and the alluded reasoning behind that pursuit which gives the character a great deal of added depth in a rather short space of time. Those qualities and more combine to make Lloyd into the character that I simply put, have the most affection for: I just like him best. ^^

Yoko is like Kallen because she's O3 (pwnage on occasion). She's there to crush people when her buddies need her, but she's just a spectator beyond that. I much prefer Yoko because of a certain episode later on and I like her evolution. Kallen hasn't really evolved much beyond episode 9 (which was kinda neat at least).

...and then there's the fact that she's the most beautiful, gorgeous, best looking anime character. Ever. Period. :hearts

1. Lelouch. he is such a powerfull chracter and make all the rest look like cannon. he has flaws. and you are able to relate to most of his actions (at least me;P). there is so much more to write about him that this thread would explode..

there's plenty of other scenarios besides the one you mentioned, though the one you mentions is a possibility. but even in that case, I see it as certainly being possible that
she'll get mindwiped but have her memory restored one way or another - or at elast like in this fanfic I saw be given doubts about her memories being true and returning to Lelocuch's side regardless.
