Narutimett Formation - The other card game

[Kojiro Ganryu Sasaki]

You might ask "What is this shit!?". And really, i want to know the same thing. Apparently it's a card game that combines cards with some kind of arcade machines based on the Narutimett games. Except instead of fighting normally, you use a rock-paper-scissors system. I don't know any more about it, though, but the concept of combining a digital game with physical cards is intriguing.

That's it with the intro. There are two card sets out, and some smaller bonus sets or whatever that aren't part of the main series of sets. I'll pick some cards from all sets to show the look.

This is how the back of a card can look. Lots of statistics that don't make sense to me, but probably to the seasoned player. Notice the barcode for the reader :P

Why has no one commented? Thanks for taking the time to post these. I never play card games, but I sure did collect a whole bunch of them.

Anyway, some of those are pretty cool, the one with Inner Sakura in the background makes me laugh hard though. I like Shukaku's grin and Zabuza is cool as ever. The one of the three ladies make me think of some fluffy shoujo manga with the colorful backgrounds, especially the one of Ino with her pose. xD Shikamaru's looks cool, trying to figure out how exactly shadows would bind what looks like smoke. The colors of Naruto-Kyuubi are cool. Gai makes me giggle, can't even stand still in the background. It is nice seeing the three kids with their fathers, but couldn't they have given Ino a better prop? And even though I'm incredibly bias, I have to say I love the Tsunade, Kabuto, and Orochimaru cards with the action poses. Always happy to see Kimimaro. X3

The Naruto/Kyuubi card is special, i think they use that kind of material that changes the look depending on which angle you watch it from. There's an optical effect that can't be scanned.

I was almost not going to take the Kimimaro card (thought it was a bit too messy), but there was no other that looked as good. I omitted a Deidara card because it kinda sucked.

Aw, there isn't one of Orochimaru and Manda, injustice! XD Gamabunta looks awesome though. I do really love the one of Temari and Kamaitachi though, would have loved to see more of that awesome weasel. I liked the first one with Itachi's katon better, don't really understand why there are two of him using that attack though.

A new set has been released! Set 3. Nothing that hasn't shown in the anime yet. Doesn't even have filler characters in it. I suspect Narutimett Formation is going to follow the old standard and not introduce any characters not yet introduced in the Narutimett Hero (and Accel) games. Kinda boring, but eh...
