hi
me and a friend are having a discussion.
he thinks Sasuke will lose to naruto in the future and come back to konoha, just like Gaara lost to naruto and became good after that..
I have a little bit more faith in kishi as a writer, and think Sasuke will NEVER join konoha again..it just seems to unlike him..
what's your predictions according to what you have seen from sasuke as a character?

Sasuke will either become a villain or anti-hero/allie. In either case, he probably won't return to Konoha, until the end of manga for a final battle or his induction into the village. Hopefully he will return to his better persona, the one where he was with Naruto.

I hope not I want him to start the Uchiha clan somewhere else

This is a Shonen manga, Sasuke most certainly is going to return to Konoha at some point.

You actually think this manga is going to end without a Team 7 reunion? Someone has to take over the title of Sannin.

Probably , he's making naruto seem silly enough chasing sasuke all this time.... if in the end he still has not succeeded it would be pretty stupid and entire part 2 would be for nothing but accidently killing akatsuki's while on a failed quest to retrieve sasuke.

i think he'll eventually go back .
itd be pretty cool to see him something like a good guy but resorts to methods others wont. like a lone wolf or even a punisher.

i hope not, i use to hate sasuke, but since he,s on his own he seems actually cool, i,m getting tired of naruto chasing after him , it,s getting alittle creepy, even sakura manned up more than naruto, I,t about time sasuke struck out on his own, all legends have cool nick names, what about sasuke last of the uchica.

I really hope he doesn't. With any other shonen manga, I'd say 'sure, main character's rival becomes his bitch in the end and follows him home'. But Kishi has been pretty unconventional with Sasuke, I think, and taken a lot of liberties with him to the detriment of Naruto (so far, anyway). I would find it difficult to buy at this point.
Anyway, I love Sasuke to bits but I'd rather he stayed independent from Konoha (and I'd rather he died than went back there to develop feelings for Sakura out of no-where).

To be serious by how he's going, it doesn't look like it, but since this is Kishi and Shounen its more probable Sasuke is coming back, just after he does some redeeming action. :amuse

In on of his interviews, Kishi said in part 3 Sakura, Kakashi, and Sasuke are going to be in a team and will be dedicated a lot of show time on missions, plot, etc.
Therefore its safe to say that Sasuke is going back to Konoha.

If Sasuke's gone, it's fine with me.
This is a Shonen manga, Sasuke most certainly is going to return to Konoha at some point.
That's what I've been trying to tell everyone.:nod

Who will be the one to give them the title of Sannin though, I wonder? Especially if Tsunade and Kakashi are lined up to die...though I think Kakashi could survive and possibly declare them Sannin.

I can't imagine him not coming back. Otherwise, Naruto's whole role in Part 2 is garbage. He has to accomplish it and his dream to become Hokage.
And it's a Shounen Manga.

kishi also said that naruto needs to grow up and one of the grown up things you learn in life is that you can,t save someone who does,nt want to be saved

I think it would be too embarrassing for him to come back and the village would not trust him anyways.
The only way he would come back is if he saved the village somehow but that is naruto's job so he probably wont get that chance

It would have to be Tsunade, since it's only legit if it comes from a previous Sannin. And there is no actual proof that either one of them will die, only a bunch of theories. There really isn't a need for her to die at this point, other than to push Sakura. But that doesn't really to happen either, since helping Naruto and Sasuke should be enough.

You're right. If it unwinds like that, then it will have to be Tsunade who bids them that title...THEN she dies. I just can't see her staying alive til the end for so many reasons.

What?
Did you read a different interview? Since I'm PRETTY sure he didn't say that.
I'm guessing you read the interview wrong. :oh

Yea he will. It will take a while but it will happen.
I think it won't happen...
As much as Naruto wants, I think Sasuke will want to stay with Tobi now.
Why would he want to return to Konoha anyway? To get wuzzy again? hmm...

sasuke will join akatsuki for a chance to get close to madara then he will fight naruto and come to his senses asnd madara will pop out and kill him, this will enrage naruto, who will sudden "OMG WTF" reveal his new power and go toe to toe with madara and defeat him.
sasuke will die.

Some people have been talking about "plot" these days.
So i'm gonna tell you how it is. Plot is God. Plot says Naruto=Main character.
So yeah, Naruto eventually beats everyone he fights ( >:O?)
But, if Sasuke is to recreate the Uchiha then he might go somewhere that'll be safer (??). I don't know. It's unlikely- that is my personal opinion.

i just have this funny feeling that sasuke is gonna die near the end of the manga while trying to save naruto from the final villain leading naruto to go berserk and kill madara/final villain

Yes, he 100% certainly will.
Seriously, anyone thinking he's not eventually going to team up with the goodguys again is fooling themselves.
