Looks aside (<3), there's plenty that I find desirable from Orochimaru. That charisma he has, in having so many people following in him and some that fiercely believe in what he is going after. He knows how to use people yet they cannot leave for one reason or another. He does all these terrible things and does insane experiments on people who stick by his side, and yet, they stay. With that comes his intelligence in thinking out his actions. He managed to infiltrate Konoha and get right next to the Hokage, certainly no simple feat.

He goes through these actions with that incredible will to succeed even though nearly everyone else we have seen outside of Otogakure is out to get him. His past home is something he can no longer return to and the people he once worked with in Akatsuki want him dead. But he fears none of that, he even has the gall to go and try to take on Sasori. Despite Orochimaru's failure to obtain Itachi's eyes he does not concern himself with that. He is flexible, when something does not work, he tries something else, the man is smart enough to have backups. We saw this with how Orochimaru tried to get Tsunade to heal his arms, then tried to get Sasuke, and then finally switched bodies.

I admire Orochimaru's determination to persue and obtain his goals. Also, the way he is not only highly intelligent, but clever, and cunning. He has immense knowledge, but also common sense, and always seems to have several back-up plans. The way he manipulates people so that no matter what he does to them, his goals become theirs, and they follow him blindly is no mean feat either.

He can give oyu what you want whether or not it be through forbidden seals or what. Also his eyes are really cool. I feel sorry for the dude... Having a snake and a knife, plus your tongue stuffed down your throat must be unpleasent.... =/
